Such a shame they closed. Loved the carrot cake, the red velvet and the cheesecake! The owner was always very nice as well.

One of the best and tasty bakeries around Fresh Meadows, Queens. I’m sad to say that Two Bites Bake Shop is closed forever. I will miss the amazing hospitality of the owner John. As delicious as the cakes and pastries were, one feature that set this bakery apart was the owner’s kindness to all of his customers, which was equally as sweet as their pastries. One of my favorite pastries is the Blueberry Turnovers. It’s airy and sweet exterior holds a pocket full of blueberries that provides a perfect balance of sweetness. One of my favorite savory dishes is their sandwiches on a buttery croissant (my preference is the almond croissant instead of the buttery croissant, because it gives a sweet note to the sandwich). The key to the delicious sandwich is his freshly baked croissants. And finally my favorite cake is the chocolate mousse, as it is creamy and airy like a mousse should be with a dense and moist chocolate cake. Chocolate goodness in my tummy!

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while now and today I did. I ordered the mini vanilla cake which was $ 6.75 and the size of a large cupcake. I thought a bit pricey but if it’s as delicious as looks than that’s quite all right. I’ll let you know. Also got the mixed berry tart$ 5. And a toffee cake ball $ 1 and change (cake pop without the stick) I ate that first and it was delicious. I also tried a green tea French macaroon $ 2.50 which may seem pricey but that’s about the going rate. Let me tell you that when I bit into that macaroon it was the perfect consistency, crisp on the outside moist with a pleasant chewiness on the inside… THE BEST FRENCH MACAROON I’VE EVER HAD TO DATE!!!. I will be back after that heavenly macaroon experience! I can’t wait to try the mixed berry tart and that vanilla buttercream mini cake later on… I will update to let you know how they were but just based on what I’ve already had I’m pretty sure they are gonna be delightful.
I also like that this is a small family business. The very nice guy behind the counter (I should’ve asked his name), was very pleasant and gladly answered any question that I asked. I found out that his wife is the baker of all of those delectable goodies and boy is she something! I can’t wait to go back.

This shop reminds me of some coffee spots in Manhattan (Village). It’s a small shop, but lots of desserts to choose from. My wife and I bought some oatmeal cookies, we tried both red & green velvet cakes, espresso brownie and chocolate chip brownie. My favorite was the chocolate chip brownie (tasted very «rich». My wife loved the espresso brownie. Some of the desserts can be very pricey.

Super cute little bakery! I live right around here and never knew this place existed until I found it on Unilocal.I love going to Lulu’s (about 6 blocks away) but they don’t have macaroons. But I have found my macaroon fix close to home! Macaroons are $ 2.50 a piece and can be purchased individually or boxes of 6 or 12 (more than 12 macaroons are $ 2.25 a piece). I decided to try a few different flavors to get a feel of what I’d like/​dislike. I tried the hazelnut, chocolate, salted caramel, coconut, green tea and vanilla and they were all so delicious! But my personal favorites were green tea and hazelnut. Aside from the macaroons they also have mini cakes, regular sized cakes, cookies and biscotti. There’s a table if you decide to sit and enjoy your treats, but it’s a small shop so keep that in mind.
I will definitely be returning to Two Bites for their macaroons and great customer service.

I am so in love with this bakery. Everything is so fresh and the owner super nice. I can’t wait to come back.

Whenever I’m back in The Borough that is Thorough I must stop here to get my gluten free macarons and/​or cakes. Plus their organic Brooklyn Roasting Co. coffee is far superior to that corporate Seattle chain of mediocre coffee.
This place has a really cozy coffee house feel with a few tables and wood floors. Pick up an old newspaper or magazine and chill here for a bit and get a pour over coffee that’s really tasty, or just get it to go.
They also can make almost any of their cakes available gluten free in various sizes. So if you are going to a party and you know friends or relatives that also need GF, you can be a hero and pick up some macarons (cookies), small gf cake for one, or customer order a larger one for the size group you’ll need.
PS The owners are super friendly and will remember you, and I’m only there once or twice s year!

Yesterday was my first time there. It’s a cute little place. I loved the look of miniature cakes, although I haven’t tried them yet. I bought the macarons for a friend’s birthday gift. They pack them so cutely in a slide-​out box. I bought a couple for myself and they are delicious!
I will definitely come back to hang there and try out other items. The owner (I assume) was very pleasant and friendly.

For the last 6 months I have been coming into Two Bites for more than just two bites. It is one of the best things to come into the neighborhood in a long time. The sweets are so beautifully arranged and decorated and the aroma is heaven. So far I’ve tried everything and it is FANTASTIC!

Great coffee… both Hot and Cold. Delicious baked goods.
Try the new «stuffed» biscuits… warmed-​up. Yummy.
When I’m inside it feels like I’ve escaped the madness of the universe.

They are fantastic with communication and accommodating last minute requests! I needed a cake for my son’s baptism with only a week to spare. I was looking for something simple but elegant with fondant work. Two Bites was more than willing to help me out and created a beautiful cake and cupcakes for us!

I love the French macarons. Currently the only place I know of that sells them. This is the sole reason I come here; I haven’t even had the chance to try anything else. They have a great variety of flavors and they are all great (I would know, i’ve tried!) The lemonade is fresh, delicious with a nice lemony bite. The owner is so nice every time we come in there, even helped us after the bakery had been closed and we just missed the time!

Cool new little bakeshop on Union Turnpike would definitely come back here for the coconut buttercream cake, chocolate chip cookies are good but not sweet enough for me. Has a cool rustic vibe going on, unique seating and laid back atmosphere great for a Saturday afternoon snack. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I got a chocolate cupcake and it was a bit dry for my taste but still delicious. I was here a while back for a cookies and cream cupcake and a salted caramel macaron and the cupcake again was a little too dry for me but the macaron was amazinggg although a bit pricey

Two Bites from Heaven
A lovely couple runs this place, and they run it with a lot of love. Their dedication for decadence shows through their attention to detail. Their variety of coffee is cold brewed and each have their own personality. Maybe you like a more dark and smoky Brazilian or a light and fruity Ethiopian.
Their delicious vanilla eclairs have a light and airy cream. It does not have a custardy heavy cream if that’s what you are looking for. I could easily eat ten of these things.
Their flourless chocolate cake might seem unusually hard at first but it softly melts in your mouth in such a luxurious inexplicable fashion. The light sprinkle of powdered sugar makes it feel like Christmas in your mouth.
Their berry tart is invigorating. The freshness of the berries and the crispy crumble with sliced almonds on top tastes like a farmer’s market on a sunny spring day. A dollup of vanilla ice cream with it would make it perfect.
This is a great place to have two perfect bites from heaven. (or two, or three, or twenty)

New favorite local breakfast place, not sure why I never thought to go here in the morning before. Boyfriend and I got the MONKEY BREAD MUFFIN, Nutella muffin, a blueberry turnover. Try the maple coffee.
They have adorable mini cakes (4-​inch diameter) which I’ll be sure to purchase when I feel like binge-​watching Netflix (I’m excited about this plan).
Also, so you don’t miss it because it’s a little place: it’s got a yellow awning and is on the same block as King Yum.

The croissants, baked savory items are delicious! Also the Maple Lead Latte is a must have!

I’m going against the grain here, I know.
This is the first time I have ever thrown dessert away. Ever. Everything looks so beautiful, tempting one to purchase too many items. The brownie was too sweet, the lemon item was too lemon-​y, and «tiramisu» was not up to par. Maybe the coffee is great at the bakery, but I’m going to stick with my neighborhood bakery that I’ve been relying upon for years — Lulu’s.

I really wanted to like Two Bites Bake Shop but I’m just left a little underwhelmed. I got 2 Flourless Chocolate Cakes and 1 Vanilla Éclair and neither of them blew me away. The vanilla éclair was kind of tasteless and didn’t really have much of a vanilla flavor to it but the dough had a really nice texture. I think the cream could have been smoother and have more of sweetness/​vanilla flavor to it. I did like the flourless chocolate cake more but it wasn’t really anything special. It just tastes like a soft brownie to me. I ended up paying $ 13 for these 3 items which I think it a little overpriced…
HOWEVER…I must say that the service here is amazing! The owner of the bakery is SUPER nice and did not rush me while I was deciding what to get. He even gave recommendations and told me that the chocolate cake is best eaten warm and that I should microwave it first! Cool guy! The interior is also really comfy and seemed really clean. Only issue is that the food can be better and not as expensive.
