History
Established in 1999.
Yes Charlie is the brain, the chef, the creator of the business but it could not have happened without the help of his family. He is very grateful for his parents especially his father for helping him not only financially but physically. His father Vincenzo took on a great risk to see success in his son’s future and his family. He knew that baking and owning his own bakery one day was Charlie’s passion and dream. From refinancing his home to working endless hours doing construction to the bakery, he made it happen! Charlie is forever thankful for his dad and for making his dream come true.
He is thankful for his Mother Maria (also a good baker), his sister Josephine, and his wife Luisa for all their support and encouragement, his past employers that have taught him not only how to bake but how to be a good business man.

At the age of 10 Charles owner/chef worked at his uncle’s bakery as a cleaning boy. As time went by Charles started to build an interest and passion in the business and baking products. He then went on with the help of his uncle, past employers and self motivation to learn how to bake. Not only does he bake but he is a self taught cake decorator specializing in all types of whipped cream, butter cream and rolled fondant cakes. At the age of 23 was convinced that baking is his passion and has a lot to offer a community. He decided to open up LuLu’s Bakery in January of 1999. Since then he has traveled to different cities and countries to attend trade shows and learn about new ideas and new products to offer his customers. He insists on using top quality ingredients and products that the market has to offer and refuses to use anything less. His passion and commitment along with the quality of baked products is the recipe for LuLu’s success and promises to follow it.
