I’m disappointed at this place. After being disappointed at Walmart, checked on Unilocal for another place to get an Oil Change done. The Unilocal hours listed say that this place is open til 5 PM on Sundays, but when I arrived at the store at around 4, it was CLOSED?!
Saw the hours posted on the window and it says CLOSED on Sundays!?? Well, then you guys should change your hours posted on Unilocal!
Shame, they lost our business!!!

When I filled out a customer satisfaction survey that detailed my woes, Derek promptly replied and wanted to follow up about my specific issues. Within a week, Derek made arrangements to have the tires exchanged for better quality versions (William and Patel made it happen at the Fremont Boulevard location in less than 30 mintues). He also offered to make adjustments to the price I paid for the brake rotors and alignment.
Wheel Works management made it right for me!!!

Better to ask for an appointment since they are very busy but the service is very good. Sometimes they fix your flat tire for free

I came in here to get a new battery for my car because it had died on me a couple of times and I wasn’t sure what the problem was. Mike was nice enough to come out and test my battery for me rather than just selling me a new one. Turns out my battery is still good! Well that saved me a good $ 200… at least! I also asked to have my tires rotated because it has been awhile since I’ve done that too. Initially they said it would be about an hour wait, but ended up taking my car in right away and I was out of there in less than 30 minutes! To top it off, since I bought my tires from there, the rotation was free! SCORE!
All of the staff is super friendly and talked to me while I was in there. I’ll be back here for sure for any other car needs.

There are a few Wheelworks service stations in Bay Area.
A few weeks ago I did regular rotation in San Ramon Wheelworks. It was my first visit to that service. After their balancing I felt worse vibration. They didn’t remove the old weights.
I went to another Wheelworks service in Fremont (close to I880). They did rebalancing twice!!! But it doesn’t help — I felt the same vibration again. Even next day second balancing showed wrong balancing. Nobody could explain «Why».
After that I have visited another service (the same brand) located in Fremont Blv. It has a new brand balancing machine. They did rebalancing for all 4 wheels. I have got a perfect quality of balancing. So I don’t have any vibration right now.
I asked manager about my previous bad rotations. He answered — «Apparently, they do not want to spend money for a new equipment. It is why the old one (no calibrated) balancing machines can not provide decent Quality!»
Resume — chose your service where are a new or a good maintained equipment.

My family has been doing business with Wheel Works at this location for a number of years. Mike and his staff are the best group we have worked with here. They are true professionals that always show that they care about us and our cars. We have presented them with some interesting ‘challenges’ and the have never failed to provide superior service and pricing. I am always proud to recommend Mike and his crew to anyone that is looking for honest and reliable service.

Had my wheel alignment done at Wheel works… Had to go twice since the first time I had it done did not fix the problem… a little hesitant to go the second time around, but happy to say that they did find out the problem and fix it with no additional cost… Thank you Wheel Works for taking the time and able to figure out the problem… Great Service… I would recommend this place to family and friends.

I went in cause the tire sensor came on telling me I have a flat.
walked in with fingers crossed that its just a false alarm (since each tire costs 200 $).
they kindly tested my tires and they said that all tires have lost some air which is a normal thing and that’s why the pressure sensor came on and there is nothing to worry about, and they filled up my tires and they didn’t let me pay. the reason I’m giving them five stars is only because of their honesty. they could have said yeah you have a flat and change my tire and charge me 200 $ but they didn’t.

I made an appointment and reserved 4 tires. I had to leave work early to make the appointment. Unfortunately, when I got here, they told me they actually did not have the tires in stock and told me they couldn’t do anything. (I was told that the manager had sold the tires i reserved to someone else!)
I have to drive an hour to get these tires from another Wheel Works.

Since the change in management /​staff, this place is horrible. I used to like going here and would be satisfied with the service and prices, but lately with all the staff shuffling they’ve done, this place is terrible. Took a car in for alignment, was told it would be done in 2 hours. Called three times to check on the car, and each time was told they would get to it soon and call when it was ready. I even drove past the shop and saw that the car was still in the same place where we had left it. Long story short, we dropped the car off at 1:00, at 6:00 they still hadn’t even touched it, and told us they would get to it in about 10 or 15 minutes. We took the car and left. I will never take another car to them. I wish America’s Tires could do alignments, because their customer service is awesome… nothing like these guys.

Thanks to all the guys for working on my car, but a big thanks to Lee and Rob for giving me a good price on my tires! They are definitely awesome… if you need anything done, come to this location! Thanks again guys! :)

Service Rep, Patel was beyond helpful. I was refused on a scheduled appointment by the other Wheelworks at Fremont Blvd because mine was a warranty work.
Since i took time off work i called this place if they can do it. Patel apologized for the incident and asked me to come by. But he said, he was booked with 2 cars ahead however he would try to get me in as soon as possible. I actually went there, had to wait 15 mins and my job was done in 40 minutes.
My business and all future tire changes will go this Wheelworks for sure. I just moved to this city and i am happy to get a great store with great & helpful service reps

Every time I come here the staff and manager always take care of me no matter what the situation is with your car. It could alignment, tires, and so forth I can almost guarantee Rob (the manager) and his staff will take care of the issue. These people friendly, honest, and very knowledgable about cars. You could be driving a late model European or an older domestic, these people will illustrate great customer service.

No one likes dumping huge cash on repairs, but sometimes we have to in order to day safe. Bald tires and wet roads do not mix.
With that in mind, the service manager was frank, kind, and worked the price down a bit — making sure I had options on various tires and the rebates that could go with each.
There is another Wheel Works store, two blocks from work, but I came to this one, about 10 mins further, because of the excellent customer service I received on the phone and in person!
Even better, when service slowed down due to a surge in customers close to closing, they waived my alignment fee as a «sorry for making you wait!» Excellent customer service. Thank you!!!

These guys were actually pretty good :). They didn’t tell me about the install fee up front so make sure you ask but overall they were fast, polite and efficient.
No true complaints.

I came here to get my wheels aligned. The staff was really friendly and quick. They told me it would take an hour and a half and actually emded up finishing in 20 minutes! Amazing! This makes me really happy because no one wants to sit around and wait for that long. The price is also reasonable and lower than most other places. THUMBS UP!

though they change managers often, I have gotten great service every time I go. The service was fast and I didn’t feel like they were trying to pull the wool over my eyes to get more money from me.
They actually identified a problem with my tire that the Toyota dealership service person mis-​diagnosed!
Bathroom is clean
Waiting area is clean
Nice that they offer a TV for customers
Free wireless would be great too (though I can sometimes get access to a neighboring wireless!)

When I called about my special michelin ultra hi performance tires, he said he didn’t have them in stock; however, in 5 minutes, he would call the warehouse and call me back. Indeed, in 5 minutes, he called me back and found a set and could have them in the hour. Impressive.
Store manager Ryan is on the ball and knowledgeable about suspension settings.

It was time for new wheels and a friend mentioned he liked Wheel Works.
I first checked out the reviews and thought «Wheely? Are you pulling my leg? They got poor reviews.» but then I figured well… let me try it out and see for myself afterall they were recommended by a friend.
I called first for a quote– Cheaper than Walmart? Sweet.
How did they get 5 stars from me?
* The place was well lit, clean and organized.
* For a tire shop– their bathroom was better than some restaurants!
* Placed was A/​C and has a large waiting area with TV to pass by time.
* Car was done at time specified
* Price was charged exactally what I was quoted.
* MIchael hands down knew his job in and out and stayed professional at all times.
* A lady came in for a simply oil change and although those take me 15 minutes to do myself, was asked to come back because Michael was commited to the cars that were left earlier. That was a big deal to me.

Why they have so many 1 stars hmmm… makes me wonder but don’t care, this place has my future business and will be recommended to my friends and family.
