Dr Spillner was a referral from my San Luis Obispo dentist, and I’ve gone to the office for 10 years now. Dr Chan has done all of my checkups and a filling or two and recently Dr Spillner repaired two molars which literally cracked, leaving me spitting out pieces. (I have very weak teeth)
I can only give them the highest praise. Their «chairside» manner is very gentle which is important when you’re facing shots and a drill. Every option is well explained and I never got a rushed feeling while there.
When the molars broke over the holidays, Dr Chan was quick to return my text and I received a call the next morning from the staff,(a day the office wasn’t open) and they fit me in on the morning of the next work day.
Their equipment is not the most modern… they have film Xray machines and older gear, but the technology does not make the practice. The experience and diligence does.
It’s been worth the drive from Los Gatos.

I’ve literally been seeing Dr. Spillner since I first grew teeth. He’s a wonderful, kind man who really cares about his patients. I wouldn’t trust my teeth to anyone else. The entire staff in this office is extremely friendly and helpful.
I’m always surprised when people talk about how they hate to go to the dentist, probably because mine is so great!

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Spillner for 30 years and he’s consistently provided excellent service at a fair price. He’s extremely thorough and takes the time to explain things in great detail. Many of the assistants and staff members have been with him since the beginning and it’s a nice feeling to walk in and be greeted by name.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Chan for over 10 years and we LOVE her! She is such an incredible dentist. She really cares about her patience and is willing to work with you. Our entire family goes there — parents, grandparents and children. Dr. Chan is amazing with our children and very patient with my grandmother who does not know who she is any more. :) Everyone is the office is also very friendly and understanding. When I hear about how people don’t like their dentist and I am always happy to recommend Dr. Chan. I can’t imagine someone not liking her. She is wonderful!

My family and I have been going to Dr. Spillner for years and years. Both he and Dr. Amy Chan are great dentists, and their staff of dental assistants are very friendly and understanding.
The thing I appreciate most about Dr. Spillner and Dr. Chan is that they take your needs (both physical and financial) into consideration before and after procedures. They’re not looking to make a quick buck because of your dental problems. Their office is dated, and so is some of the equipment, but all the procedures I’ve had done were painless and done very well. Dr. Spillner and Dr. Chan are very much family dentists which is why I (and so many other people) have trusted them for many years.

Ive been going to Dr. Spillner since i was 4yrs old! Yes, this man has seen me grow up and Ive seen him for many years and to me he’s still the same guy. Currently he has a partner in his office/​business named Dr. Amy Chan and she is just as wonderful! Im thinking she is gonna take over the business once he retires, thats when he is done putting his sons through school.
Basically my whole fambam comes here: the bro, his wife (sis n law), the wifes father, and their 2 kids. My mom use to come here too, but she has relocated and hasnt been here for years. Its her fault for having us come here and I couldnt be more pleased.
The office hasnt changed much and the set up is still the same. They have changed assistant’s and front lobby people but I guess thats what comes with the job. I dont know if they still do this, but as a child they use to have a treasure chest made specially for kids where they pick a toy after each visit. It was nothing big but still a cool thing to do to get kids use to the dentist.
