My answer to a mid-afternoon snack attack. Crepes of only a few but trusty variety, and more importantly, smoothies and boba. For me, I thought I was buoyant over Mango. But I found a second pleasure, the Honeydew smoothie. Too sweet by half, but it’s a cool-down refresher. Just don’t have lofty expectations coming here. #cheapeats

The teas aren’t the best. They taste watered down and hardly have any flavor. But the food makes up for it though. Not too salty and a good amount of flavor. The thing that bothered me the most was that the old couple that was working there were quite rude. They seemed like they were getting so uptight when I just ordered a drink and a snack. It’s like do you want business or not because I don’t want attitude from you if you want me to come back.

Drinks are really tasty, never had any of the food besides potstickers(which were not the greatest) but other than that, cute place to stop by for a casual drink!

This place is horrible!!! I ordered a Thai ice tea and it was so disgusting. I asked the lady who worked there if I can I get a new drink because I could barely swallow the drink. It just had a really bad after taste… But she refused to remake my drink and asked me to pay her an extra dollar to make a new drink… Extremely rude and bad customer service!!! Never coming back again.

I was a bit skeptical walking into this store because of its interior design(you can notice it was hasn’t changed for many years). I was surprised instantly by a sip of the cantaloupe milk tea I ordered! It was really good! Way better than what I expected. Refreshing and not overly sweet. The pearls also had perfect texture, chewy but not hard nor too soft. Also ordered the calamari and potstickers which were both also satisfying. Definitely my new milk tea stop in fremont! :)

Tasted bad, cheap ice cream, the drinks are not smooth, more like pellets of ice. Expensive too!

Not the best milk tea but their slushes are pretty good. I would not recommend getting boba with anything, however. It’s too gooey and significantly lacks flavor. If you do end up going, I’d suggest getting the green apple slush(no boba) Best thing on the menu.

As much as I love the couple that works here… i probably wont come back. Milk tea had a very bitter taste to it. The fried calamari was disgusting. I

This bubble tea is not bad. The service is really fast, the tea is decent, and the tapioca bubbles are really chewy. The only issue I have with this place is that there is a $ 6 minimum for credit card transactions. Each drink is about $ 3 so unless you’re buying two drinks, you really have to pay with cash.

Their drinks don’t even compare to any other boba store in the fremont/union city area. Their store appears very unsanitary and their crepes are just okay. I say if you want a crêpe save your money and spend a little more and head on over to le moose a few plazas over. Their pearls are hard as rocks and their drinks are so ehh. Don’t bother stopping buy drive a little fur the or to somewhere else nearby. There are plenty of boba stores now a days. Also their customer service is pretty bad.

This place has a $ 6 credit card minimum. How does that even make sense when one drink costs $ 3? Either bring cash or deal with Angry Taiwanese Dad at the cash register who will refuse you service for not having cash. By the way, Q-CUP, it’s *ILLEGAL* to impose a minimum on debit cards, which I was going to use for my purchase: «Retailers also aren’t allowed to impose minimums for debit cards, according to representatives at both Visa and MasterCard, the two largest debit card networks.» ( ) So I just went next door to Posh Bagel — they’ve 11 flavors of pearl milk tea and have either a $ 5 min or $ 0.25 charge on purchases under $ 5. Plus their customer service is loads better!

Came here on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Note that from driving around the outskirts of the Fremont hub plaza, you can’t spot it right away. It’s actually tucked in the middle of the Fremont hub plaza, almost behind Staples. Anyways, as predicted, because it was rainy and cold, me and my sister were the only ones there. It was small anyways, and is more of a place that you get your drinks then bounce. There’s only about 4 small tables and seats, so don’t plan on getting too comfortable. The only thing we tried was the scoop-o-mango which was ~$ 4. It was pretty good: mango pudding on the bottom, mango slush in the middle, and a scoop of mango ice cream on top, drizzled in syrup(I won’t ask for the syrup next time… it does not taste good as a topping). I noticed they sold other things like crepes and savory snacks, but the menu is not as expansive as a Quicklys or TapEx. The only complaint I have is that the lady forgot to give me back $ 1 change. I brought it up, but she thought I was lying and put it in my wallet. I assure you, I’m not that kind of person. I didn’t want to make a fuss out of it, so I said forget it. But I think it’s important as a establishment to give back the right change.

This is the 2nd Q Cup I’ve visited in Fremont-this one’s at The Hub. I ordered the popcorn chicken combo, which came with a large boba tea. Went with my stand-by, lichee milk tea with tapioca pearls and lychee jelly. The popcorn chicken was good-different than I expected. The fried coating was a whitish color, salt and pepper visible. Well seasoned. The bubble tea was very sweet, had a sweetness I couldn’t place. Almost like a really saccharine aftertaste. The tapioca was VERY mushy in texture. Almost slimy. I’d prefer a lot firmer. About an hour later, I had an upset stomach that stayed upset for the remaining part of the day. No bueno! Yeah, I doubt I will be hitting that up again… but who knows, I usually give a place two attempts before writing them off completely. *shrug* we shall see.

I have been here before and don’t remember it being this bad. There was an older couple working here which normally automatically puts me in a empathetic zone but that changed. The older woman was grumpy and rude. I ordered a crêpe and asked for water. She kept saying bottled water and I had to insist that I was fine with tap water. Then she says«OK, I will do it since this is a dine-in order»! WTF, that made no sense. The only explanation that made sense is that she wanted to upsell and was upset that i did not want to buy water. She then gives me a paper cup with about a half filled with water. Anyways, the grilled chicken crêpe was a disaster. Super salty chicken which ironically made me thirsty which was served in a gooey undercooked crêpe. It looked nothing like the picture BTW. The older man did not acknowledge us either. No smile, thank you, nothing. This Q Cup sucks, no wonder it was empty.

Review of tea only; no insight on food We had just finished eating dinner at the Phở place next door and what better way to top off delicious soup than with a tall glass of boba? This place looked closed but the door was unlocked and we were welcomed inside by the couple behind the counter. I got a fruit tea with boba and my partner got some sort of snow bubble. I watched them ladle my red colored tea out of a big barrel in the fridge and into a cup. I’m so glad I got a small because it was one of the worst things I’ve attempted to drink and I threw it away after the second sip. My partner didn’t like his snow bubble either but he decided it was worth finishing off. Would not come here again for boba when there are other great places in town.

Small venue, but plenty of options. Great for a quick boba fix. Cashier is nice, but took longer than I expected for the food and drink to be prepared(I would’ve expected the drink to be fairly quick). Lots of kids who looked like they were in high school, though it was a weekday, so it was little strange there were so many there during lunch hour. Banana crêpe was about $ 5. Vanilla ice cream inside the crêpe, unlike most crêpe places I’ve visited, where the ice cream is a scoop outside the crêpe. The crêpe overall was decent; I liked the presentation. Popcorn chicken($ 4.25) was too salty. Honeydew Jasmine milk tea($ 2.50) was good. I decided not to add pearls, but there are a variety of options to choose from.

My favorite place to get pearl tea drinks! Mainly like coming here because of the fab asian couple that run this joint. So efficient, quick, and cool. Strawberry jasmine tea with pearls is great, their thai tea’s alright, and their scoop o mango is fab! Mmm. mango pudding on the bottom. Need to try some of their food now… crepes, and they even serve bentos! Mm.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon. I rarely have drinks at Q-Cup, I come more for their fried chicken bites, but we were in the area and wanted dessert. Luckily, there’s a variety if you don’t want boba, which includes crepes, smoothies, and scoops of ice cream. For $ 2 a scoop, not bad! There was only one worker here, but she seemed to be fine, even if there was a rush of people. I got a passion fruit green tea with pearls, my standard, and it came out in a few minutes. I didn’t taste any passion fruit, it tasted like honey jasmine tea. Was a bit bummed, but drank it regardless. My friend got a peach tea, and she said she didn’t taste any peach either. They don’t have a frequent buyer card here either. I think I’m more of a Fantasia or Tap Ex kind of person!
