Kenneth B Louie, DDS

I hate to write this review because Dr. Kenneth Louie has seen me since I was a little girl and his skills and expertise are superb. HOWEVER, his office staff is inexperienced, at best. And FYI Bobbie is no longer on staff so this review does not apply to her. It baffles me how professional office staff in a clinical setting DO NOT KNOW how to bill insurance correctly. I have to question their training, if they have any to begin with. I have dual coverage from myself and my husband and they were not able to combine them even though they are the same carrier and everything. What??? How does that make sense?
Again, Dr. Kenneth Louie has superb experience and skills and that will never change. His office staff, however, pales in comparison to what his office requires to continue serving their patients. Hopefully, he can get them trained or something. Even Googling how to bill combined insurances would be helpful!

Update to REVIEW. Bobbie, the office manager, has a new skill set: fixing computer networks. I was there, trying to use their amazing WIFI and it didn’t work. But no worries: BOBBIE rebooted the network. I immediately notified Dr. Ken to giver her a raise. We’ll see.
Oh, and now they have Keurig coffee, too. So it’s really a good place to go (if that can be said about a Dentist).

I found this dentist by calling 1−800-dentist years ago, after I had had a really bad experience another dental office, where they made my gums bleed from just a ordinary cleaning. That never happened ever in my life, so that is when I decided to try the 1−800-dentist which are highly rated dentists, by the customers the one I was referred to Dr Louie’s office here. I’ve been here several times for several years.
I’ve gotten cleaning, fillings, and recently I came here and I had to do replacement fillings. I must admit getting replacement fillings are more uncomfortable than original fillings in general, but I guess that comes with the territory.
Lately when I come in the cleanings are not as good as they used to be because some of the people who do the cleanings just rush through them. I don’t know why they rush through them when I believe that the people that do the cleanings as their job — that is all they do. I still like this office, but some of the new people they have hired could work on being more thorough, and some of the newer people on the front desk could try to be friendlier. The last time I had a cleaning I was asked if I have kids, what my job is, and if I’m going on vacation.lol.I have no kids, I have a boyfriend and am not married, have a part-​time job, and have been hunting for more, so no I’m not going on vacation. She was telling me how so many of the people that were coming in the office as well as people working there were going on vacation.okay.
Once I came here and they gave me free whitening strips however usually they don’t give those free. Every time I am here I get a free toothbrush, toothpaste and floss I guess that part is pretty typical.

We have been patients of Dr. Louie since around 1997. both of our children have grown up with Dr. Louie and his wonderful staff. Can’t say enough about the friendlyness of the office/​staff and the consistant high quality of service. Can’t say enough about Bobby, Monica, Susan and the rest! :-)

We love Dr. Louie and their whole family. They’ve treated our whole family and we are very happy. The office staff is helpful, kind and extremely competent. And even though I had the dentist I have to say Dr. Louie and is staff are extremely soothing.

Been going here for years and always leave with a prettier smile than I came in with :) The staff is extremely kind and professional. I always recommend them to friends and family who do t have a regular dentist.

I will not take my pearlies any where else! When my insurance was changing, I was so nervous I would not be able to be a patient there any more, but they ended up being able to accept my new insurance. I love the staff! They always have a smile, and remember you. Dr. Louie takes the time to listen to your concerns, or just your random babbling lol. He also takes the time to explain things to you, and puts you at ease during procedures. I have never been more relaxed at the dentist. Thank you Dr. Louie and staff!
