Great customer service! My faucet hoes was leaking. Called them up and someone came by within 20 min. I had purchased a mediocre replacement faucet. The gentlemen offered me a brand new top of the line faucet for a great price and installed it right away.

Javed was very fast to respond to my request for service. He fixed a leaking hose in the backyard, a toilet, and the water shut-​off valve in the front yard. He was very friendly and easy to communicate with via phone and text. I will definitely use them again!

Toilet clogged. Used a toilet snake to clear the clog as always.
Unfortunately the toilet snake latched onto something and got stuck. Couldn’t pull it out. Tried it for half a day.
Called J&K plumbing based on a friend’s reference.
Joe came in an hour. Looked at it. Tried his hand and removed the stuck toilet snake.
Asked him how much should I pay for it? He just said all good and didn’t charge me a penny. Left with a smile. Such a good person.
Would recommend him anytime.

My kitchen sink had a leak and I called them around 8:30 am. They showed up by 8:40 am. They guy looked at our pipes and said we can just go grab a $ 10 part at home depot to fix it. We did that.
I appreciated their honesty to I’m giving them a 5 star review.

J&K was great. I reported and issue and requested a quote. They replied within minutes and came out the same day. He only fixed what I needed fixed and he did it really quickly and really well. Very friendly and personal service. I will definitely be calling again.

Yesterday, a Sunday, my kitchen sink was clogged. Too much grease in the pipe. I decided to use the «Request Quote» button that I’ve never seen before here on Unilocal.Companies contacted me with all of the responses I got for my estimate. Javed, the owner wrote and called me. His price was comparable to other plumbers estimates. When he called me I got a very comfortable, friendly vibe from him, so I chose him out of everyone I talked to. You usually don’t get that from plumbers and I’ve dealt with them a lot for various issues, usually using a different company each time. Go read some of my Unilocal reviews of my plumbers LOL.
I told him I just had surgery and was looking for the best price possible as I have a ton of medical bills now. When he arrived he asked me about my surgery, told him I needed to sit down, and he said «I don’t want you to worry about anything. I know you’re going through a lot» and gave me a hug. What plumber do you know who does that? It wasn’t awkward either. It was genuine. He worked with me on payment and he was so appreciated for his help.
He had a helper with him who got on my roof and unclogged the sink that way. That’s different, but cool. Javed checked both bathrooms to make sure everything was running correctly in them as well and there were no issues. Sink is working great now!
I’m definitley going to call him in the future for any issues with my plumbing. Knock on wood, hopefully I don’t have to call him again though. But he’ll be my first call if I need one!

Great service! Responded to my message really quickly, in half an hour. They were on time, were in and out all problems solved.
Will definitely use the services of J&K Plumbing again in case of another bathroom problem.

Joe gave me the estimate over the phone for the job I was about to hire him to do. When I asked him for the written estimate, he said that he will have to charge me $ 150.00 just for the written estimate?! OMG. What it takes to input the information of the client and the address, price… secondly, he never mentioned charging me for the estimate when he called me with the price.
Simply dishonest and unprofessional practices.

Joe just left after clearing up my drainage system. We had the following related issues in our kitchen sink:
1. The water would drain very slowly
2. When too much water accumulated in the sink, running the garbage disposer would push water back in the other sink and out the air gap.
3. When using the dishwasher a lot of water would back up in the sink.
We had tried the following :
1. Drano Max Gel and other such stuff
2. Baking Soda + Vinegar
3. Coke (yes…its an unadvertised use case for the drink:))
4. We called a handyman who snaked the drain upto 5 feet.
None of the above worked.
Called Joe this morning. He gave me a time slot of 12 – 3. Showed up around 1 and straightaway got to work. He had to snake more than 40 feet to reach the main pipe but it seems a lot of grease/​clogs got cleared. He checked every thing thorougly and made sure all the systems were working properly and there were no leaks. He also cleaned up before leaving.
Thanks to him i have a working kitchen again!!!
All in all very good and professional service.(though just a tiny little bit on the costly side)
I would call him again if needed and would surely recommend him for plumbing services.

Our toilets/​tubs backed up Sunday night. I contacted them through Facebook, they got back to me quickly. Told me Joe would be there between 8am-​9am on Monday morning. Joe showed up at 8am, solved the problem, and was done by 8:30. Super fast, super friendly!

Joe was SO helpful! We needed his services when our bathtub was clogged for days, we tried EVERYTHING, bought needless supplies from Orchard’s, Home Depot, wasted sweat, time, money and tears — til we decided to call Joe — he saved us! Thanks Joe for your help, for putting up with our yappy dogs, and for fixing our tub super fast. Joe was also very clean w/​coming in and out of our place. You must call Joe if you have any plumbing issues, he’ll save you too!

Mother’s Day almost turned disastrous for us as my fiddling around with the front water supply caused a massive gushing leak and what seemed like the equivalent of Old Faithful being spurted out. With little options at midnight, I cracked off the water main and hoped that tomorrow I could get someone to help fix the leak.
I didn’t expect much being that it was a Sunday, and a major holiday as well but I came across Joe here on Unilocal and his location and reviews made him the first I called. He came within an hour of the call. We had our initial differences over prices but I understand that it often comes in this business. He got to work immediately and was very courteous to ask which type of hose bibb we wanted for our garden hose. The entire job took about 2 hours to complete and he even included an extended written warranty to 6 months just for peace of mind.
Overall it was an excellent experience!

Great service! I just had Joe come fix a bad solder on my new shower valve. Other contractor did a bad job and it started leaking. I had Joe cut the wall and find that it was indeed the valve solder. Fast, reliable, friendly and super fair pricing. Offers a 30 day warranty on work.

GREAT service! Honest prices! A man of his word! He just left our house but I cannot wait to recommend «Joe» from J&K plumbing.
He arrived early in the morning with a smile on his face, very personable. He was easy to contact to begin with, fast responder, and makes you feel at ease with confirmations through phone and text!
We needed to get our hose bib replaced, I sent him a picture and he knew exactly what was needed.
We found that it was actually clogged! Wads of paper towel from who knows where! (What’s up Union City?)
He did a great job blow torch and all. I think he even did a little extra by adding a female adapter, which is great for if there are any future problems! I didn’t feel cheated like other companies in the past who over charged us. I also didn’t feel like we were burdening him with our problems, he seems to love what he does!
At the end he gave us a receipt and a 30 day warranty right on the spot! Unheard of! Just goes to show that he cares about his work and he makes his customers feel comfortable with him. Very professional, he will definitely be our go-​to guy! Because he says no matter what the time or holiday, he doesn’t hike up the price.
Overall experience: professional, on the customers side, awesome!

These people were really good. I manage a industrial building in Fremont and live in Santa Cruz. My tenant had a problem with the toilet and I called Joe (or Javed) based on Unilocal reviews. He came out at no charge and told me the toilet was really old and needed replacing. That made sense to me, because we’d already had to replace another one.
I later called him and told him to go ahead and replace it, and he billed me. Done.

Simply said, Joe is the man… he has fixed multiple things in my house since we moved in a few months ago… the first thing he fixed was our bath which the knobs were frozen from going years without use, within minutes it was fixed for a ¹⁄₈ of the cost I was quoted from my general contractor. He determined it was a bad cartridge & alls been great since.
A few months later he came by & fixed our leaking sprinkler system and not only that, he replaced our sprinkler /​main shut off valve pipes with copper… I also liked that he educated me about the process and gave me options on how to save money.
Today I called him and in a few hours he was here fixing our leaking toilet… he showed me the problem and offered his solution, which as a customer, makes me feel so much better about the scope of work… knowing that I can participate in the project and not just be forced into paying for it. Long story short, within an hour he fixed the broken seal, replaced the flange, and him & his team were on their way.
I have the utmost respect for him & his team and couldn’t be happier with their work & professionalism… call them, you don’t be disappointed!

My shower stopped giving hot water the other night. Joe came look at it and quickly determined it’s a broken cartridge. He fixed it in less than an hour and helped replaced a new shower head.
I’m glad I called Joe, because a guy from another company told me my valve was broken and the job would cost me almost 8x Joe’s quote, and would need to take down a wall!
The second time I called Joe, my main water intake pipe was leaking from inside the ext wall. Joe came and fixed that as well. He located the broken copper pipe inside the wall and replaced it in about an hour.
His professional skill and prompt service are so critical to me, because my baby was just born last week. Joe helped take the plumbing problems out of my life so that I can focus on taking care of my family. Thank you Joe!

My toilet, tub AND shower were all backed up. It started with the toilet and then all hell broke loose. I called my stupid ass First American Home Warranty Waste of Money Bullshit Company and they sent a «plumber» who came ill-​equipped and unable to do his goddamn job.
Cut to two days later and I called Joe. This is the first time I’ve ever used Joe. I called at 11:22, he came BEFORE the promised time of 12:30. He figured out what happened and fixed it. He did have to remove the toilet, but he did it so quickly! He finished before 1:00. The total job cost $ 300. I know that sounds like a lot for 30 minutes of work, but it was totally worth it. I’m not going to remove the damn toilet. I’m sure as hell not going to stick my anything down there to get it whatever monstrosity is down there. Even if someone ELSE got the clog out, I wouldn’t even walk it to the garbage can. Use Joe.
