Claire is so flexible and accommodating. I have used them twice, both times happy customer! This time especially when the truck arrived, I was not at all ready. Mr Song is very comforting and told me it would be easy, no worries. They cleared up my 2bedrooms apt in less than 3hrs — Packed and load into truck. Then unload them to storage for another ½hr. Bingo, I was so relieved. All done in 3.5hrs with 2guys! Highly recommend! Thank You Very Much!

Got a Saturday morning appointment from Claire. I was given special pricing for being a repeat customer. I asked for extra wardrobes for clothes which Claire gladly agreed to.
3 guys came in and moved my entire home in 3.5 hours including 18 mile trip in between.. They used electric tools to disassemble/​assemble my furniture unlike few movers who waste lot of time using manual tools. When I used a different moving company few years back, the 2 guys took 6 hours to finish the moving including a 6 mile trip in between.

Amazing job! Movers were very efficient, booking was also very easy! Claire is very accommodating. I appreciate the fact that the movers are really careful, efficient and timely. They provide free wrap, dolly and anything else you need for the move! The price is not outrageous and worth it! Unlike other places, their movers won’t make an hour job last 2 hours just to get more $. Very fair and honest business. I highly recommend Express moving!

After speaking to Claire regarding our move, I want to update my review. She responded promptly to an email I sent and after clarifying the issues we had with our move she was good about seeking a resolution. She also was going to speak with the movers to try and resolve some of the issues we had so that it doesn’t happen again. I appreciate her contacting me so quickly and willingness to improve their customer service. I also want to correct the fact that I did speak with a man by phone initially who gave me their price quotes and set up the move date. I received two confirmation text messages — one for the initial confirmation of the move date and one confirmation the night before the move.

These movers were fast, efficient, friendly. They were extremely resourceful and detail oriented. Extremely competitive rates.
No hidden fees or other shenanigans. Truly a five star service from Claire and her team.

I really wanted to give these guys a good review after my experience booking the move (I’m assuming it was Claire I dealt with). I had to find someone only a week ahead of time, and Claire was very pleasant to deal with. She advised three guys because we had a piano, at $ 120 an hour (that $ 85 an hour rate someone mentioned was a «New Year’s Special» apparently). $ 50 extra for the piano plus $ 20 for gas, tip not included. We booked the slot for 12:30 on Saturday, and Claire texted the night before to confirm. That is where the good ended.
12:30 comes and goes, as does 12:45. I text to find out what’s up, and am told they are running late and will 1:30 work. We were only moving a couple blocks, so no problem. 1:30 comes and goes. About 1:55 I text for an ETA and am told they were stuck in traffic, and are about 5 min. away. They show up about 2:10 or so. So nearly two hours late. Not a good impression. Three guys show up, one of whom speaks pretty good English (two Spanish speakers and a Chinese guy). The one Mexican guy seemed to kind of take charge of things and was the only one who really seemed to know what he was doing.
They show up at the new house with the van fully loaded, and one of the first things off the truck is a large (heavy) armoire that was extremely expensive. One of the guys has it on a hand truck and gets down to the ground to set it down and proceeds to drop it. He looks at me and chuckles. Simple physics should have told the guy someone needed to be on the other side before he tried to set it down. Strike 1. I ask him to PLEASE be careful as it is a valuable piece and it cannot be repaired. The bigger Mexican guy helps him to get it in the house without further incident. One of the next things off the truck is a chest that is wrapped in plastic, but not at the bottom. It is up on its side, and the guy puts it on the asphalt driveway with the wood sitting directly on the asphalt. Really? I have to ask him to pick it back up carefully to avoid scratching it. Strike 2. Strike 3 was a chunk taken out of a bookcase at the bottom on the leg. Fortunately it was not expensive, and the damage isn’t too obvious if we put a bit of stain on it, but still, shouldn’t have happened. Strike 4 is the giant scratches on the bottom of a fairly new cat tree. They had it up on the top of all the other stuff, and I’m guessing something metal scratched it. Strike 5 is the gouge taken out of my coffee table on the edge. Again, can be made less obvious with a bit of stain, but should not have happened. I had to follow the guys (esp the two smaller ones) around BEGGING them to be careful with my stuff. I think watching them moving the piano in took a year off my life.
Boxes that were clearly labeled were put in the wrong room (not just «kids’ room» and «Master» mixed up, but kitchen boxes put in the bedroom and bathroom boxes put in the kitchen.
The two smaller guys should NOT be moving people’s furniture. Boxes maybe, but not furniture. They are neither strong enough, nor conscientious enough to do the job. Third guy got a larger tip than the others because he was the only one with half a brain. He gets four stars, the other two get none.
Total with tip was around $ 620. I wished I had had more time to shop around. I didn’t have an issue with the price, it was the quality of the service. And for someone to look at me and laugh when he drops my $ 5000 armoire on the asphalt?!? Nope. Just nope.

This has been the most pleasant moving experience ever. I got the best rate for 2 hour minimum. The 3 men completed the job within 2 hours, door to door, without a single scratch or tear. Highly recommended!!!

I hired a two man crew which came with a truck. They arrived on time and really did a great job. They took precautions in protecting my things with wrap and blankets. They were nonstop moving and got the job done fast, safe, and smooth without any issues. Would use them again for sure!

Claire and her team were amazing! They moved me from Sunnyvale to San Diego, and on such short notice! Claire was very professional and helped take off some of the stress I originally had about getting all my stuff down south. She offered me a very reasonable price for such a long distance move. Within a week, we were able to do the move. Her team was extremely fast and efficient, and made sure to pack everything carefully for me! Thank you so much to Claire and her three wonderful movers!

Amazing job. Called a week before move from an ad found on Craigslist to get a quote. All of my questions were answered and I felt confident we were gonna go with them. 3 movers for 85 an hour with a 3 hour minimum. Best rate I found after calling at least 10 other places. The lady I talked to was very polite and knew what she was talking about.
So our move was a two part move, unload a storage unit in Milpitas then unload a 1 bedroom apartment in San Ramon then move it all to Livermore. Team showed up on time at 8am in Milpitas and got to work promptly, they only took about 30 minutes and we were on our way to the next stop. 30 minutes including wrapping some extra stuff.
The San Ramon move took around 45 minutes to get on the truck. They had a lot of furniture to move and wrap and a single flight of stairs to move down, but still made really good time.
The offload to Livermore was smooth as well, they moved the heavy furniture to locations requested without argument and got it done quickly. Loaded everything else in the garage as requested.
The 26 foot truck was perfect and they secured everything perfectly. Moved quickly and only nicked and scuffed a few items, but not that badly. The movers didn’t really talk that much, which I liked, and we’re all business. All moving supplies were included, i.e. Tape, wardrobe boxes, shrink wrap, blankets, etc.
Move took around 3.5 hours and had to pay for gas… All in all very affordable and a good experience for using my first moving company.

We had originally hired another Fremont-​based moving company who got the dates mixed up and didn’t show up. So we called Claire last minute on a Sunday and she was able to send two guys over within the hour to move our 1-​bedroom apartment. They both didn’t speak much English but were very efficient and friendly.
In terms of packing, if you’re meticulous, then I’d recommend you pack yourself. They’re all about speed here so they might be slightly rough with the handling. They do wrap furniture and anything fragile but not as thickly as if I did it myself.

Excellent service. We were told 2 movers for a fair hourly rate (half of what everyone else charges). Three movers showed up (no extra charge), on time, and ready for action. They only had to be told to «be gentle» once, as there were many hand made pieces of furniture my Grandfather made… They moved everything very gently, yet still very quickly. They even offered to try and fix a piece they didn’t even break! I definitely recommend these guys.

I moved recently and had initially engaged with a different movers who stood me up at the last minute. I called Claire and she obliged by sending her team of ‘supermen’, even though it was a last minute notice (I still wonder what made to engage with the other movers first, and not with Claire).
The 2-​member team arrived a little late than the agreed upon time, but more-​than-​made-​up for the delay by getting to their job immediately and ensuring that they completed the job well within the estimated duration. They both were total professionals, who knew what they were doing. Not a single mis-​step throughout, and no broken bottles or vases too.
I’m impressed by their professionalism and would recommend them to my friends too.

My move went as smooth as a move can go. Victor was one of the movers who showed up. He was very communicative, friendly and made sure my stuff was securely packaged. He came along with two other movers whose names I did not catch, but they were also great! Claire kept me well informed with all the cost and details, so there were no surprises. The move was from Alameda to San Jose. I went from a two bedroom on the third floor (no elevator) to a two bedroom first floor in four hours (I have ALOT of stuff) during heavy commute hour traffic.
I would recommend them :)

I called Claire to get some help to move my 3 bedroom house. She explained me the hourly rate they charge and I found it reasonable. I was recommended by my friend who used their service in the past.
The crew of 3 people came on time. I found them very hard working and they did not waste any time. They followed every direction I gave them without any argument. They wrapped important furniture and bedding in a wrap or blanket to keep it safe.
I am glad I used this company for my moving need. I would highly recommend them!

One phone call to the listed number just two days before our move and Claire took care of everything. It was a long weekend. They are fully staffed and equipped. The movers showed up on time and did a great job. I will use them again.
The only downside; they don’t seem to have an office that you can walk into.

I personally think writing a single review for the services Claire and her team provides is not enough.
I had called them and scheduled a move from Fremont to Tracy on 11^th. Their professional team arrived 15 minutes early and helped us pack and fit the remaining stuff in boxes. They also provided us with four large boxes for wardrobe and also blankets and tape to wrap valuable items. Upon arrival they helped us place all the items in their respective rooms. I had estimated my move to be about 3 hours but it ended up being 5 hours. They were very cool with that and even with the 2 hours extra I got almost the same price equivalent to other mover’s hourly charge.
I fully recommend them and would like to thank Claire and her team for the great service.

They are professional movers. You get a huge truck with 2 excellent movers. They moved my 1 bedroom apartment in 3 hours. Everything was done perfectly. They also had tools to disassemble my furniture and assemble it again after moving. They also came exactly at the time they mentioned they would.
They also brought with them large boxes, tape for free.
Making/​Confirming an appointment was done through phone. Claire responded to all my questions and confirmed the time/​date through a message. Claire also answered any concerns/​questions i had regarding the move.
