Derek did our outdoor photoshoot for our infant daughter and our extended family. He directed us to a very quiet outdoor location that worked out great. We were a little late but he was very patient and accommodating.
Very patient exp. with baby and took great care to get good shots with all of us, accommodating all our requests. He went over and above to get special pics of parents. He gave us breaks to compose the baby — no rush, and very friendly and understanding.
And the pictures came out very natural and great quality.
The pricing is by hour (1 hour is all we needed) and worked out to be much more economical and other private photographers we checked who were charging twice to three times more.
We get hi res pictures in a dropbox link within a week.
Over all great experience. Definitely recommend.

Derek has done an excellent job for our large extended family portrait session! He is very professional and really help

Derek was excellent at our daughter’s 1st birthday photo shoot. He was very composed, patient, and diligent to get the right shot.
Essentially, you pay him for an hour, take the photos at his studio, and he’ll return the best 50 – 60 shots back to you via online link within 10 days. This worked out great for us, since we just wanted digital copies of the photos to print out pictures elsewhere. It’s also great that he does some photo-​editing work himself, so the photos looked pristine.
I would definitely recommend him to any parent looking for a cost-​effective photo shoot. BTW bring plenty of food and drinks to bribe your child into smiling – worked for us!

both me and my husband were very happy to find Derek to have our 10th anniversary photo done in his fremont studio. The pictures came out exactly the way we wanted, plus his professional skill made the whole process enjoyable. Price was fair and he was open to most payment methods.
