Always having a love for photography, Chad has had a camera in his hand since he was a little kid. After taking a few classes in High School on photography, it wasn’t until then that he realized that this would be the foundation of what would develop into being his passion. Later, he attended San Jose State University and this is where he finally knew that photography is what he wanted to do in life. Years later, Chad Stein created Chad Stein Photography which is now a widely recognized name in the photography industry in Northern California.

Awesome awesome awesome. Chad is so professional, cool, and a great photographer. He just did my graduation party and the photos are wonderful. He captured moments I don’t even recall, but looking back on the photos it was a great night. Chad was on time, nice attire, cool with all my guests, fun, funny, an all around great guy. I will be using his services from now on with any event I have.

I love the pictures that chad did of my daughter and i for chrismas. He show up early like he said he would. He was patient and very nice with my daughter. he got a picture of my daughter playing and smiling with her necklace which is of my father ashes. that was a priceless moment and mean the world to me especially since christmas eve was the last time we spent time with begore his passing… chad does a amazing work and is very respectiful. He keep in touch with you every step of the way which is very professional. i will book him again. thank you so much again chad for your work.

I came to Chad in a very desperate situation. I had a dream wedding in Maui planned for the last nine months, and then suddenly my world came crashing down when I found out that my father-​in-​law was suddenly terminally ill and a week later my own father had a debilitating stroke. My fiancé and I had to cancel all of our plans including our 12 day honeymoon and wedding. Not sure how much time we had left with his father, we decided to make last-​minute plans to go to San Francisco City Hall to make it official.
I called Chad and he was more than happy to help us. He was very patient and kind as I didn’t have many details including time location etc. until the last minute! A very detailed planner person myself, I can understand how annoying that could have been but he took it in stride.
During the day of the wedding, he was calm and collected and never showed any signs of stress. He was open to any and all ideas that we had regarding shots and offered his expert opinion which turned into a beautiful product in the end. He delivered the pictures way sooner than expected, and his passion for photography surely shows in his work. If you book him you will not be disappointed!

Absolutely the BEST photographer you could possibly want to have! Chad came highly recommended by Damon Jamal, an award-​winning music and film director. I needed a photographer for my wedding. What I wanted was someone who would be professional, calm, with an expert eye for candid shots. We would be indoors, outdoors, and on the water. I got exactly what I wanted.
Chad is the coolest photographer around. By the time the reception was over, everyone was chanting, «We love Chad! We love Chad!» People rarely know the photographer’s name, let alone appreciate him enough to call attention to him!
His work style is easy, his pricing is great, and what he produces is amazing — all in a very short period of time.
If you need a photographer, do yourself a favor and get in touch with Chad. You will be glad you did, and you can thank me later. ;-)

I’ve called Chad at 10−11AM and he was at the door at 4pm same day for a photo shoot. Was very pleasant and patient with photo shoot. His professional advice on how to pose and what colors go well together and what pics to pick finally are above and beyond. I’ve recommended him to another friend after ours.

Chad did a photo shoot with me and my family on Dec 19th. He was one time and professional. He knew how to do his job very well. One thing I really appreciated is that he made sure my son was comfortable with him before he took pictures. He didn’t rush me so that I would finish during my time exactly, he was very relaxed. So overall my experience was very comfortable. He also sent me my edited photos the next day and they were very nice. I would recommend him to anyone, he is great !

If you’re looking for phenomenal pictures at a great place you’ve found it. My wife and I did a shoot in SF (Upper Playground store) recently. All I can say is we were beyond pleased with the final product. He does all of the shooting and editing himself with professional equipment and software. From the get go he was very professional. He even had an assistant to help him with lighting. Chad you’re awesome! Highly recommend you give him a call.

His attention to every single detail before taking the picture, and afterwards in the developing process is impeccable. I booked chad for photos before my daughters 2nd birthday party to do family photos. He did such a good job. My daughter was in a crabby mood but he made the best of it and got some amazing shots of her. My family photos turned out great and I couldn’t be happier. If you’re looking for a great, flexible, and knowledgeable photographer, definitely hire Chad Stein. He recently did a photo shoot for my four year old daughter and I. Not only did the photo’s come out amazing, but it was fun too! Chad interacted with my daughter and made her feel comfortable enough to get a little goofy. She even called the shots a few times. I could not have been happier with how my photo’s turned out. The photo’s captured everything I wanted them to; The love between a Mother and her Daughter. I have hired Chad several times over the last year to photograph our events. Carlton Plaza of Fremont is an Assisted Living facility located in Fremont. We have at leats 3 events a month. Proffessionalism is a very important quality in the people we hire to attend our events. Chad has always been incredibly proffessional with myself, our residents and Staff.

My husband and I had Chad do a Easter theme photo shoot for our daughter and he was wonderful not only with her but of the shots he got of her! when she got a little fussy towards the end of the shoot he had such patience while I got her to calm down so he could finish up. wonderful communication he messaged me the day before and called and texted me the day of to let me know he was on his way and when he showed up very professional! and since we did the photo shoot two days before Easter he was kind enough to stay home all night to get the cd with all the pictures on it to me the next day so i can hand them out Easter day. we cant wait for may when we have our next family photo shoot with him! if you need some photography work done hes the guy to go to! check out his facebook page Chad Stein Photography to take a look at his amazing work! Professional, knowledgable, and AMAZING photographs. Chad was the photographer for my wedding and he was quick to understand exactly what kind of photos my wife and I wanted and he performed very well. Very versatile with the kind of shots he took, great candid shots, he wasn’t afraid to get in the crowd and talk with our guests and get shots of them. he seemed to know the exact right spot to be in order to get the best picture possible every time. Very fair prices, and he even arrived early to set up the lighting and scout out where he thought the best background was. What impressed me the most is he got all 410 shots touched up with great visual enhancements and loaded onto a disc in just three days! If I could give 10 stars I would. This will not be the last time i contact him for photos. I highly recommend Chad Stein Photography for any and all events.
