Called Sammy Friday afternoon to let him know I was having a problem with my home security system software. Friday night on his own time, Sammy worked remotely to get my system up and running again. How many companies will do that for you? This is not the first time we called Sammy for help and got a quick response and resolved the problem. When we had our system installed, both Sammy and Michael did the install. Both are very professional and worked hard to satisfy our needs. We are very happy with Cypress Video install and service.

Very nice followup and then I am back in business now.

Sammy is very good at helping you figure out how many cameras and what type of system will work best for you. His installation is very professional and clean. He also helped me set up the system so I can view my cameras via my I-​phone or from my computer at work.

I have used Cypress Video for three of our location. They are very busy so you need to be a little patient.
But I can tell that Sammy always will return your call & will get back to you.
We have 4 Indoor Cameras in our three «Cupertino iPhone Repair» locations, one in San Francisco Financial District, one in San Francisco Gough Street & the 3^rd one in Cupertino.
I can watch all three locations from my iPad and iPhone live streamed. Pretty awesome.

I called this gentleman tell inquire about a security camera. People have been robbing me blind in my professional kitchen and I needed «eyes» on my kitchen ASAP.
He was driving when I called and told me to contact him via his web site. I did and it bounced back telling me error 404, what ever that means.
I called and left a message telling him the problems with his web site and what my contact info was.
Days later, I have heard nothing. I called to inquire about how long it would take before he could get to me and remind him of our conversation. He asked me who i was and had no recollection of our conversation. When i told him about his web site not working, he did not understand (there is a language barrier) and told me that there is no problem with his web site. When I told him that I called and left a message, he was just silent on the other end.
What a waste of time.
Maybe he is good, but getting him to come out to you was impossible for me.
I found him to be very unprofessional

I had a fabulous experience with this company, especially Sammy See.
I live in an Oakland neighborhood in which there are a lot of burglaries at all hours of the day. Of the houses on my street, mine probably has a fairly low chance of being broken into, since people are often coming and going related to my home-​based business, and I have three dogs of my own, however, reading on my neighborhood listserv about all the break-​ins and violence that occurs on the streets around me has been really freaking me out (that’s the technical term, yes). So… after using a fake battery-​operated fake CCTV monitor for a few months while I saved my pennies, I did some research and called Cypress Video for a quote.
Sammy came out the next day. We had a chat, took some photos of my house and environs, and he had a quote for me within a day or two. I felt like Sammy really listened to me and was very open and accommodating. I didn’t get other quotes, honestly, although I did what is (for me) a lot of research online (a couple hours). I decided to go with Cypress Video, which, by the way, is a worker-​owned – yay!
Cypress Video came out to my house about a week later and in one day Sammy and another super pleasant guy (forgot his name, sorry, but there are only 4 worker-​owners so you have a good chance of getting him!) installed a system that I’m very happy with. I have five cameras around my house that provide complete 360-​degree visuals. There’s a monitor that shows me what’s going on at all times and Sammy sett up my iPhone so I can also see all 5 monitors from wherever I am – a cool party trick!
The cameras have good visibility even in darkness and they’re the dome kind that see a wider angle than the cylindrical type. They’re also bad-​ass-​y extremely difficult to break, plus you can’t get to the wires unless you’ve got a big ladder.
Sammy’s not a fast talker like some sales people. His relaxed, approachable demeanor made me at ease discussing an area (home security) in which I am a newbie, and I’m not very technical in general. I wish there were other «Sammys» in some other areas in which I always feel taken advantage in (car mechanic, anyone?).
I’ve had a few questions in the two months since Cypress Video installed my system and Sammy’s either answered my phone call right away or gotten back to me quickly with an answer.
I could write more, but it’s late and I feel my main point has been made: I’m very happy with my security system they installed and the service, too.

I reached out to Cypress Video on getting info and quotes for a surveillance system. I was really pleased with their service and attention. Sammy from Cypress Video was super-​responsive and was full of knowledge he was able to share with me.
I had called a couple of other places in the early beginning and left messages but never got a call back. Sammy was there to pick up the phone as well as exchange emails with me within a very reasonable amount of time. Now that’s service! It was also good to see they were Diamond Certified. Sammy worked with me in getting a few quotes on different setups. Unfortunately for me my project is held up and will have to revisit it come 2013. But when that time comes, I will certainly reach out to Sammy and Cypress Video for my install. I have literally spent hours and hours researching on finding a company who can do this at a reasonable price and no one has come close to Cypress Video. They know their stuff and the customer testimonials they have gotten on the Diamond Certified site and here on Unilocal are proof they are good as it gets.

We just got 4 cameras installed for our home and I love it! Although we bought them for security reasons, it’s kinda fun to watch the monitor and see the mailman delivery mail or solicitors walking up to your door (gives you plenty of time to hide!).
But seriously, Sammy and his staff were delightful to work with and went the extra mile to make sure that I was totally happy with the service.

PS. I attempted to get a second quote form Reed Brothers in Oakland. They came over, said they would email me a quote and then NOTHING! Bad form.

I contacted Cypress Video requesting help for the company I work for. We are a global company with $ 600m annually in sales. We have multiple retail spaces all across America, and are headquartered in the Bay Area. I was very fortunate that Cypress responded immediately to my request and lucky for us there was an opening for the next day. A tech was onsite the next day and working on our security camera issues. I received a call from the tech when they arrived, as requested, and email follow up when the job was completed. This is not service I’ve seen from other vendors of ours without pulling teeth.
