I was recommended to this shop by somebody I know. Since I don’t live in Fremont I wanted to find out if this business could fix the problem I had. I sent 3 messages by e-​mail and 1 on Unilocal.I eventually got a response after sending the 4^th message. I specifically sent photos of the issue I have because I don’t live around the corner. Without any confirmation that a solution could be provided, Mr. Voss told me to drive by. Clearly, I didn’t want to drive for half an hour just to hear that he could not fix the problem after telling me that the shop typically doesn’t fix stuff on E36 models so I asked Mr. Voss to take a look at the photos I sent him to let me know if the issue I had could be fixed. The images were sent but there was no response. I had no choice so I gambled and I drove to the location. The issue I had was fixed in about 30 – 45 minutes without appointment. I am happy with the outcome of things but I am somewhat disappointed because I was not provided with an estimate for the repairs/​replacements when I got to the shop. The crew of mechanics just went to work and I saw the numbers when the job was completed. The communication could be improved. It’s slow and not everybody can afford to just stop by the shop and hope to find out that issues can be resolved.

Came here after doing some research on pixel repairs for my E39. My LED was ¾ gone through the years and I finally couldn’t deal with it anymore. I called the day prior to see if I needed an appointment and was told to just drop by and they will take care of it within 45 mins to 1 hr.
Arrived at Bimmeronly and was taken care of immediately. Told them what I needed and they took my car to the garage. The owner himself removed the trim and my cluster. He gave the cluster to Cesar who worked on it, got it all back to new and back in my car in less then 45 mins. The cluster repair is covered by them w/​a lifetime warranty. Really can’t complain about anything from these guys.

Came in without an appointment, with the cluster from my 540i in hand… it had the typical bad pixels. Cesar, the master cluster technician asked if I wanted to wait while he repaired it? Huh? Talk about service! And I must say it was not like he wasn’t busy– he had at least 25 other BMW clusters in his office that had been shipped to him for repair! I happily agreed to wait, and watching him was not a problem either.
He explained that half the time the LCD panels are bad in addition to the ribbon cables, and that he didn’t currently have any of the LCD panels, but did I want him to attempt the repair anyway? I said yes– that I was feeling particularly lucky.
It was a pleasure watching Cesar jump right in to begin the tear down process. He was meticulous, careful, detail oriented and obviously very well versed in replacing the ribbon cables. I’m guessing that he could almost do one with his eyes closed? But I must say that he went through the whole process very carefully paying close attention to every detail. I opted to add the aluminum trim rings, and his detailed fitment and installation was flawless. Once Cesar put everything back together he plugged it into a harness he had on his tech bench and viola! Everything worked perfectly! No LCD panel required! And the trim rings really added a nice touch! When I got home, I reinstalled the cluster back into my 540i and it is functioning perfectly!
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Cesar and Bimmeronly to anyone! Excellent service, attitude and pride in their work.

I dropped off the cluster and MID from my BMW E38 7-​series to these guys a while back to have the ribbon cables replaced. When I dropped them off, the guy asked me if I wanted just the ribbon cables or the ribbon cables AND the actual LCD panels replaced, claiming that the LCD panels also often go bad. I asked them to test the LCD panel and replace if necessary, else just replace the cable only and charge me accordingly. The guy said OK, no problem.
When I got the stuff back, the LDC on the cluster very clearly had a huge dry blotch on/​in it, preventing many of the pixels from working. When I called to ask about, the person on the phone was very rude. First they told me that it was very uncommon to replace the LCD and that they rarely do it. They would not acknowledge or even address the conversation I had when I dropped the stuff off. Every time I tried to explain that I had asked to have the LCD replaced if necessary, the guy would just interrupt me and start giving an insultingly incorrect and oversimplified explanation of how an LCD works. In my opinion, this issue has nothing to do with how an LCD works but rather with the fact that I asked this place to do a job and they didn’t do what I asked. It seems clear to me that this place is not organized enough and no one ever recorded my instructions, and then they tried to cover for their mistake by endlessly arguing with me and cutting me off any time I tried to explain the situation.
So, in addition to not doing the job that I asked, they failed to acknowledge that they made a mistake and were very rude.
I would not come back here.

Horrible customer service, called told year and model of bmw for stereo display replacement, was quoted price which was verified by the manager day before, just to be sure called again today and verified price then drove all the way there. Once there a young guy came out took keys and said price will be over $ 120 more, I asked to speak to the owner, who just helped us 2 minutes earlier, was told he just left won’t be back for 1 week, asked to speak to Peter, who originally gave me the quote, was told he left for the day, and was told that Peter is easily confused and doesn’t know what he’s saying or doing. Complete waste of time, just a bunch of scammers.

Great little Gem that I found in Fremont. I have a 2001 530i that I bought used but drives well. Only problem was that the ABS module goes out intermittently causing the speedometer and odometer to stop functioning. It’s a pain to constantly use the speedometer app on my phone to keep track of my speed. I checked out the pricing for the repair of the module and it ranged in price from $ 400 to $ 1200 and it has to be reprogrammed for additional cost. They do it here for less.
Met Amir who took a look and he said that they can do it. He has two guys working on cars and they seem to work on everything not just the modules and instrument panels that they’re known for. And I was right. Amir looked at the module, and also at a leak in my valve cover. since it was next to the module. I was always losing oil but I just didn’t get around to it since my regular mechanic is in South San Francisco. Since I will be saving money on the module repair, I decided to use the money saved to do the gasket. I took his offer on the module repair and the valve cover replacement.
Dropped the car off around 11 am on a Monday and I asked Amir if he can give the car a once over and I gave him a laundry list of things that I was concerned about based on stuff I hear and feel from the car. He told me that they normally do that with all cars they service and only recommend what needs to be done. By 3 pm, he calls me to tell me that the car was ready but the problem was I didn’t have a ride to get there and I’ll pick it up the next day. Awesome quickness!
I get the car the next day and the price was as he quoted me. At the bottom of the invoice, he noted all the repairs that he recommend I do and in the order that I should do it based on safety issue and cost factor for my part. I knew most of the things he listed were needed but just needed a mechanic to confirm them. The price he gave me on the needed repairs were very reasonable and since all they work on are just BMWs, it beats dealer prices out of the water (and a previous BMW shop I went to in San Carlos that fleeced me!.. That’s a different post for next time).
In summary, this is a great shop. I want to thank Amir and his crew for a job well done. They are a very friendly and knowledgeable staff who never pressures you in doing any unnecessary repairs. It’s a little hard to find since their location is the last shop in the back but again, Gems are not easily found.

My BMW radio face had unreadable pixels. I read about bimmeronly on the most popular online auction and shopping website. I called and spoke to a very friendly and accommodating woman, that told me to come by and wait for it since I was local. I made the appointment and arrived early. I was greeted and the module was taken from me to administer TLC. To my surprise, the task was completed in 20 minutes. I paid (in cash, I believe they accept cards also) and made haste to the car for a road test. It reinstalled in seconds, and I was able to select radio stations to my delight. The time and date were clear as a bell and I changed stations all the way home. Delightful people, professional service while I waited. The service comes with a lifetime, and transferable warranty.
Hopefully, I won’t need their services soon, but highly recommended for Mercedes, and BMW owners needing the service.

Took my 2001 740il in to have the fading pixels in the instrument cluster fixed. Amir and his staff are very friendly and very knowledgeable when it comes to anything BMW related. They had the instrument cluster fixed in less than an hour and it looks like the readout on a brand new car.
I also mentioned to Amir that the steering wheel column wouldn’t lock when the key was out of the ignition. He took a look at it, grabbed a can of WD40 gave it a couple of sprays and it locks again. Not only did he not charge me, he ran a diagnostic and gave me some great advice on how to extend the life of my car.
It’s nice to come across a mechanic that is an expert and provides excellent customer service and is honest. I’ll definitely be going back.

I found Bimmeronly via eBay. I spoke with Amir over the phone and he walked me through the process of how my 540i pixels are replaced. I went to the shop and was very impressed with their customer service. Amir went out of his way to make my 540i look great. He is very knowledgeable in BMW especially the 5 series will be going back for future improvements to my 540i!

I got my BMW engine & clutch replaced here recently and they did a ok job. Amir the owner specialize in repairing dead pixels in BMW. They carry aftermarket and oem parts for all kind of BMW. Price is very reasonable, give them a try and let know what you think?
