Tracy does a great job on alterations. She has always been very kind to my family and I. She’s very fair on pricing too. She stays pretty busy, so sometimes it takes some time to get a garment back.

Rude and unprofessional. Stopped in for a repair and alternation. When I described the jean alteration, the owner immediately said she couldn’t do it. I’ve been taking jeans to superior tailors in rockville and bethesda for years with NO ISSUES. Ever.
Appalled and will look for another tailor in frederick. Unacceptable.

TLC Alterations earns a well deserved 5 star rating and review from me!
I had a floor length gown that I needed shortened and the neckline adjusted and Tracy was wonderful. She was very prompt and professional and made sure I was comfortable with the length before altering. The turn around time was one week and the pricing was very affordable. Tracy was friendly and welcoming and I felt like I could talk to her for hours!
I highly recommend TLC Alterations. I advise calling ahead for an appointment and to also confirm that she is can provide the alteration services you need. Parking tip: park in nearby lot and walk around the corner to her shop, the entrance is on N. East St.

Tracy has taken care of my alterations for nearly ten years. She is absolutely expert in transforming a garment from frumpy to fabulous, knowing just how to nip, tuck and hem exactly to my measurements. Her rates are more than fair, and she is always prompt. One of my favorite services is her «original hem» jeans fix — corrected length, with the manufacturer hem line. Genius!
