Enjoying Grilled Cheese and Ham and Bean soup. Fresh Sour Dough bread and hot soup — so good on a snowy day!(Also, Jamoca Almond Fudge coffee!)

2.5. I’ve been here twice and the experience hasn’t improved. The first time we came here it was pretty packed and it got crammed in the small place. The menu has lots of options but we settled for breakfast sandwiches and and egg salad sandwich, the bagels were decent, they used real eggs but the egg salad wasn’t great. When I got my coffee it was overfilled and spilled all over my hand and the guy taking orders(assuming it’s the owner) was very rude and seemed like you were wasting his time. The second time around, the owner was just as rude and annoyed. The food was decent– the egg bagel wasn’t anything special but the egg everything bagel www actually really good. The Costa Rican coffee was pretty good. The interior is nothing short of disgusting. The furniture is mismatched(ransom Quiznos chairs?!), the booth seats are pealing, and the floor is dirty. Overall not a pleasant place to sit so if you’re coming here sit outside.

Friendliness and being treated with respect is as important as how delicious the food is. The owner of this place demonstrated blatant discrimination, even after being educated on how inappropriate his treatment was. There’s a group of us that would frequent local restaurants in effort to support their business. We were to go there this Friday but an incident yesterday morning had us voting to cross Beans and Bagels place off our list of support. To the owner, discrimination is a big No No! Do take the time to educate yourself. You have just lost 12 customers.

First time visit and this was so good. The veggie omelet was life & those home fries challenged my wife’s cooking. Awesome customer service & tasty cofee. Good find!

A small breakfast hideaway, service with a smile, efficient but friendly! Ambience is «down home» and like decompression chamber. The Greek omelet was perfect and the coffee strong, just the way I like it! Muffins afterward finished the meal beautifully. Every detail was taken care of, with prompt cookery and service.

Pumpnkl bagel w/capers, onions, and salmon. Open early even on a Saturday. Likely the Best Beagles in d/town Frederick. Health helping for under $ 10.

I have been visiting this downtown establishment for years and I am always pleased. Service is pleasant and very quick. Bagels are always fresh and delicious. I typically get the lox sandwich on a toasted everything bagel(I know toasting a fresh bagel is sacrilege but I like when the onion and garlic flakes warm up, the flavors are much stronger) with everything on it — onions, tomatoes, capers, etc. and it is amazing. I’d compare it to the many versions I’ve had in NY. They even have an «egg» everything bagel now which is even better. Enjoy.

I’ve been making a habit of trying local coffee shops, and this was next on my list. The one pro was that my sandwich(a gyro) was excellent. I’d definitely become a regular morning patron just for the gyro if I worked in the area. But unfortunately, the rest of the experience was severely marred by some major flaws, listed below: — I was charged an extra 75 cents to add feta cheese to my gyro. Seriously, charging extra for a dish that pretty much demands this item? That’s like charging extra for lettuce and tomatoes on a chicken club. — Drink orders for«here» apparently still come in paper to-go cups rather than actual mugs that you’d hope for at a sit down experience. — Wait staff was generally inattentive, and they never told me if I was to wait for my order or if they’d bring it outside to me. So I stood at the counter for a few minutes looking like a jackass before I hedged my bets and just sat outside. Fortunately they brought my sandwich to me. Like I said, my gyro tasted great and I’d stop by for that if I was in the area regularly, but I definitely wouldn’t make this a regular place for a sit down experience. 2.5÷5

While vacationing in the area we decided to give this place a try. We found it a bit confusing as there are tables but you have to order at the counter first. Omelets were okay but small for the price with home fries costing extra(2.39).Coffee was decent but the cream(half & half I think) had run out & by the time I was able to ask them to refill my coffee had cooled. We all said we wished we had tried another place with waitress service. My 2 boys left a little hungry & had to hit up the bakery on the walk home.

This is literally a must every time I go to Frederick, I love the food and the coffee! I’d definitely spend $ 10+ here rather than at a Starbucks Definitely try a grilled muffin! The atmosphere is great and decked out in Steelers stuff besides the one Ravens bird in the front window.

I stopped in on a whim as I took in the museum across the street. The atmosphere was pleasant with nice banter between employees and regulars… My coffee was quite nice. The bagel was average but I’m not sure that Frederick is known for its authentic bagels so I’ll give that a pass. In all, a pleasant way to spend twenty minutes and recharge.

Will not return. Cappuccino tasted pretty bad. Greek omelet was fine. Side salad was showered in diced red onion.

Top notch breakfast in downtown Frederick, I chose the Greek omelet with home fries and toast. What I got was a very tasty omelet decently loaded with stuff and a good portion of diced and grilled potatoes. Very yummy and good service. Coffee was great too. Lots of regulars popping in and out of this place while I enjoyed my breakfast. And if people keep coming back, there’s a reason for that. It’s good!

It has«beans» right in the name – so, at the very least, they have decent coffee, right? Uh, no. It’s tepid, underextracted dreck. I’m a certified coffee addict, and I pass this place on my way to work every morning – and keep walking to the next coffee shop. That should tell you all you need to know. The bagels aren’t bad, I suppose. The rest of the food ranges from average to… kind of gross. I’m no snob – I can absolutely enjoy some simple, cheap, unpretentious food, as long as it’s good. But B&B’s food isn’t good. And it’s not even cheap – for about the same price, several other eateries on the same block will give you much better food. The place is junky, bordering on dirty. The vinyl booths are torn and duct-taped; they have mismatched tables and chairs(including some from Quizno’s, with the«Q» logo built into the back); there are tacky Steelers knickknacks everywhere; the artwork on the wall is crooked. The place needs a top-to-bottom makeover. Inexplicably, though, they seem to do decent business. I guess there’s no accounting for taste.

One of my absolutely favorite places in Frederick. Beans and Bagels definitely has the best bagels in Frederick. The toppings are on both sides of the bagel!!! And of course the price is always right. The muffins and the macaroni salad are also huge unexpected wins. I just can’t say enough good things about this place. I wish there was a place that had bagels like this in Baltimore!

On a Downtown Frederick shopping expedition, my sister and I decided to stop in for some breakfast. Ordering was overwhelming. The place was packed and the menus are difficult to read, especially with people cramming in around you. But given the busyness, I was expecting some delicious eats. I ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese bagel with an overpriced hot tea latte. She ordered an egg and cheese bagel with home fries. Our bill came to $ 20.42, a little steep for a quick eat(especially given the nearby options). When our food arrived, I was underwhelmed. From the price to being cramped inside the tiny ordering/dining areas, it just didn’t live up to it’s reputation. The sandwiches were pretty decent. The home-fries were mushy. The tea latte wasn’t anything magical, but was good. The bagels by themselves were best. I’d probably stop in again for a bagel, but overall I was not impressed.

I come here for the lox. They may not be over the top friendly, but I don’t think they mean to be rude. I get a very New York vibe when I go in. My lox is always delicious, and they have many choices for bagels. I like a fried egg on my lox and they always add that on for me. I would much rather come here than go to crab apples. Talk about RUDE!

Thought it was really good food — Definitely more bagel than beans! Atmosphere was pleasant for sure — slightly divey — but for a quick bite(Really good Lox on Egg everything bagel) and ice coffee had good strong flavor. We sat outside and there were radio-active sized bees — not the places fault at all. Food was good but closed at 3:00pm(from what I recall) on the Sunday we were there. Definitely worth stopping by. We met the owners, extremely friendly and nice!

Stopped in for some iced tea this afternoon. Pleasantly surprised that it was strong and flavorful. The vibe is a little less coffee shop and a little more deli, but I’d recommend the tea.

The man who was working the register was extremely rude, my bacon, egg&cheese had one small piece of bacon on it(as pictured) The nicest thing I can say is the coffee was hot. Have no desire to come back here.
