Wyndchase Aspen Grove

DO NOT rent here!!! I wish I could rate them 0. They had their maintenance crew working on the apartment above us (very disruptive and loud and Wyndchase could not confirm whether or not they were licensed to do the work). The workers made a mistake, breaking a pipe. This caused water to come POURING from the ceiling into our apartment. Our nanny was left to deal with an excessive amount of water coming into our apartment all while trying to tend to our children. On a side note our kids are potty training and the water came pouring out of the ceiling in their bathroom leaving them TERRIFIED to use the potty anymore. My husband was forced to leave his job to go home and tend to the water. He was barely able to contain it from starting to ruin our personal belongings it was so excessive. All while damaging our towels in the meantime. We have no clue the quality of the water covering our apartment. It was very difficult to get maintenance there. I spent over ten minutes getting bounced around on the phone before getting to someone who could treat it as an emergency situation. They sent someone who cut up our carpet, sprayed some chemical supposedly to kill mold and put a fan in place then left and said they would return the next day to put a new carpet pad down. This fan ran all night and into the next day. Who is going to cover the additional electricity required for this? Apparently we are even though this was Wyndchase’s maintenance person’s fault and responsibility therefore it should also fall on Wyndchase. Today they came to replace the carpet pad and they cleaned the carpet with who knows what kind of chemicals. We have been left with wet carpet, linoleum in the bathroom that is bubbling and a hole in our ceiling with no indication that any further action will be taken to rectify the situation. Now our kids are scared to use their own bathroom, making potty training next to impossible, we are concerned that we will have a mold issue given the wet carpet and bubbling linoleum and not to mention a hold in the ceiling and no more ventilation in that bathroom. I feel like my family’s health is at risk. They also continue to work on the apartment above us into the late evening hours blasting music and smoking outside the apartment. We are APPALLED at the way we have been treated in a situation that is in NO WAY our fault. I would NEVER recommend anyone to live here. I can’t wait until our home is done being built so we can move out! STAY AWAY!

We signed for this place sight unseen from overseas.
We lived in Franklin before and were familiar with the area so had high expectations.
The unit had the same cheap carpet similar to those in the hood with laminate counters and short or average ceilings. First impressions were horrible. Outside was great with all the beautiful trees.
We then found out the online signing was ‘incorrect’ it doesn’t come with 2 garages. After a month we negotiated to discount the rent to compensate. Their first reaction was to immediately inform us there is a 30 day guarantee and if we weren’t satisfied we could leave. Then it was followed by a detached garage. Customer Service for the win.
During all the storms of this year, our ceiling had a leak in one corner and the garage ceiling. The first visit they sprayed a can of so, etching and went away. The second time, our request was placed on hold and not addressed. I had to email management letting them know I’m allergic to mold and submit a third request to get attention. This time they speckled it leaving the white and an ugly ceiling and corner to stare at.
We had enough and with 4 months left in the lease we started looking for another place and gave our notice to move out at the end of the lease. We found a place with 3 months left and noticed our unit was listed as available ow on the website. We also notice it was priced for 300 more a month. The location is not worth that much. They are renovating some units but it’s like putting lipstick on a pig. They are not working on the bones and structure. Just putting in some laminate hardwood, black appliance, and darker cabinets.
When we contacted the office about our unit being posted as available and hopes to negotiate to leave earlier, they immediately said no. Would assume they’d want to get 300 more a month as soon as possible but what would you expect from a bunch of idiots who can’t see pass the contract.
We hate the place so much, we moved. The place sits empty, we’re paying rent to comply and waiting out the lease.
Other notes. They painted the tar to get the crisp black look once but didn’t even any of the roads. Worried about about looks that purpose. The area in front of our garage was so uneven, it collects water and creates a pool. Sumer it attracts so many Mosquitos, but office never attended to it. Also the type of trees they put everywhere attracts bubble bees by the dozen. You can’t hang out at the playground or outside because of it until after 6pm.
