Hello there! Thanks for visiting my site! I started Emerald Tide Photography in 2012 and it has since grown tremendously!

Me? My photography is all about you! I let you inspire me! I want to make you look and feel amazing by capturing your best, most important memories that will last a lifetime. I want you to be you. I love building a strong connection with my clients, from the initial consultation and beyond, even after your session has been delivered — so I can really understand who you are and display that in my images.

I’m Kayla!

My love of photography started when I was about four years old, styling and posing my Barbies around the house, getting the film developed and showing them off to everyone I knew. It continued throughout the years with family photos and documenting my life. In high school I took a few photography classes and experimented in the dark room. Soon after I purchased my first dSLR camera and fell in love! My other passion is in Interior Design and all things art. I graduated with a degree in Interior Design in 2014. I have a unique, clean style and enjoy using nature as my studio and love to incorporate outdoor elements.

A few of my favorite things:
