Giving our «tip of the cap» to Michigan’s Great Lakes. We took the original Salt Water recipe from Atlantic City, and made it Pure Michigan. We make our batches with water filtered directly from our Great Lakes. After all, these Great Lakes are the pride of Michigan, and also the pride of our taffy! We are proud to be the only Taffy in the country to sport the «Fresh Water Taffy» name. We think you’ll be feeling pretty fresh after tasting our mouth watering creation! It’ll bring you back to your childhood with every bite!

History

Established in 1985.

A family owned Taffy company right on main street in Frankenmuth. We have been cooking, pulling and wrapping our taffy on original 1900’s machinery. We do things the original way to give you that original light fluffy revert you back to your childhood taffy! Come and see us make it, and enjoy it with us!

Meet the Manager

Zak M.

Manager

Growing up working in the family business he was used to making candies from an early age. Whether it was Fudge or hand dipped candies he was always around the family shops.

Zak then took on a hockey career, Playing his collegiate career at Michigan State University winning a National Title in 2007. Then played in the Minors with Rio Grande Valley from 2008 – 2011.

Retiring from the minors to come home and help in the family business Zak has been attending candy schools throughout the country. Working on his families trades to eventually help the second generation carry on what their father started. Today he still works hand in hand with his father learning and perfecting his candy career.
