no. I went in asking for gel nails (NOT gel polish, gel nail extensions.) I got acrylic power. he didn’t ask how I wanted my nails and when I told him
after he just started making his own choices about my hands, he still didn’t listen. I told them I’d like to do my own polish at home, but they still literally MADE me get clear gel topcoat on top of my acrylic. there are hairs stuck in them, they weren’t cured all the way, they weren’t cleansed afterwards, my cuticles are ALL bleeding and my nails are pointing all different directions, are all different lengths, and there are air bubbles in the acrylic. $ 40 later (which is the cost for GEL TIPS) I have officially had the worst experience ever. no talking, except to other coworkers in another language intermittently.

I’ve been here a couple of times before but my last experience was a joke. I had a pedicure done and it looked very nice but within three days, the polish was gone from seven out of ten toes. It’s not like I was competing in a triathlon, I did no hard activity and the pedicure was gone. Very disappointing

How can I describe this place? Inconsistent is the only word that comes to mind. I have been here numerous times for pedis, and gel manis, and I have had some decent experiences there but this last one really left a bad taste in my mouth.
I went in on a busy Saturday after with my friend’s 12 year old daughter for some girl time. I wanted a gel mani and pedi, she wanted a polish change. We took our time picking out our colors. They do have a great selection. Then we waited for a while. One employee asked me if I wanted to soak my feet for a little while. I hopped into the chair and soaked. About 10 min later a man came over and didn’t even say one word to me. He immediately took my old polish off and then began digging into the side of my big toenail with cuticle clippers. OUCH! He filed and scrubbed all the while looking around at everything but what he was doing. The only time he spoke was to ask me for the nail color. He got the dark polish everywhere. Slapping me on the legs with closed fists as an attempt at a massage move. Great! Thanks, good thing I had just received 4 stitches in my leg outside of the «pedicure safe» area Maybe if he slowed down a little bit it wouldn’t have been so painful. Then they took my friend, they made her wait so long she was almost asleep in the waiting area! They rushed through her polish change and she was done in 10 minutes. When he did my mani he didn’t speak to me at all. All the while again, eyes darting around at everything in the room but what he was doing. He didn’t let my nails cure the whole time he was rushing so fast. At the end it looked nice but it is 3 days later and it’s already chipping. Lastly, at the end of the mani I asked if I was good to put my socks on. «Yeah yeah» he said. No sir… the correct answer was no. Pedi destroyed. My exact thoughts when leaving were «that was the fastest ‘I don’t give a fuck pedicure I’ve ever had!’» So if would also like an awkward ridiculously rushed «give me my money and get out «mani or pedi, this is your place!

Here I am 4 days later with my gel manicure peeling off! Mad because it’s a little more expensive than other places. It’s a nice place but I wouldn’t pay 30 for a gel mani there again.

Just moved to the area, & was rushing home. I stopped at this place, cheating on my favorite nail spot. The guy who did my nails just started cutting them, and my nails looked uneven. He didn’t ask how I wanted my nails done, and just messed them up entirely. I asked him to stop midway through because he was clearly rushing, and making large errors. I ended up walking out and going somewhere else. This place is dirty, and they’re not personable. They speak in their native tongue the entire time about customers. Avoid at all cost!

HORRIBLE. First I want to start by saying if you pay hard working money do not go here. It’s dirty and also one of the nail technician did my gel manicure in 24 minutes, as a result it ended up chipping the next day … I Went back and she only filled the chipped part. And it ended up chipping right away. I will not be coming back, she did not apologize once and it was just over all unprofessional.

I just moved to the area and was searching for a good CLEAN nail salon where I could get waxing and gel mani/​pedis done in the same location. I happened to find this place in my extensive Internet search and stopped in for an eyebrow wax since it was close to home.
I was impressed upon walking in. I was greeted right away and noticed how clean it was. Someone escorted me to the waxing room and started right away. Although she talked on her cell phone the whole time (rude) she took her time and did a great job. I was pleased with the results. Eyebrows were even and she even trimmed the whole brow (which I usually have to ask them to do).
This morning I stopped in again for a gel mani/​pedi and was again greeted right away, picked my colors (huge selection of OPI and Essie gels) and sat down. Fu did both of my services today and was so professional, polite and thorough. The tools were being pulled out of disinfectant and he took the time to ask what I wanted. Again, I’m impressed at how great my mani and pedi look and it is the best mani/​pedi I’ve had in a long time. I will definitely be going back and asking for him!

Staff are rude. They don’t even try to hide the fact that they are talking about you and laugh in your face… no kidding. The guy who did my pedicure was a jerk. I asked him to not scrub so hard on my feet and he laughed and ignored my request. My toes came out ok, nothing spectacular, but I will never come back due to the negative experience. AVOID!

I went there with my best friend– we were celebrating her birthday and I am sad to say it was a terrible experience. The minute I walked in they were rude and we basically should have run. We both had pedicures by men (which in and of itself is not a problem, I am just mentioning it so you don’t use them). The water was cold– they hurt my friend by cutting her toe and the whole thing took 10 minutes! They didn’t do our cuticles, they sloughed off dry skin for exactly one second and the massage was basically a poke on each leg. When it came to the nail polish they didn’t cover the whole toe and it is thin and uneven. It was really disappointing because they didn’t seem to care at all about providing a good pedicure and since they are in a customer service industry we both expected better. Neither of us will ever go again and I will tell everyone to stay away. Now I am off to book a another pedicure to fix this one.

had been here before with a great experience but sadly it was horrible today. Emma approached me first but this other guy came and took me. there was a lady behind me so we just ended up going to get the pedicure together. i came in to get hot oil manicure which was on thair service list and a regular pedicure. the guy kept on sneezing and kept on sniffing his nose, very uncomfortable. I had to tell him where to polish, he didn’t even scrub my heals and his massage was weak. i was done wayyyy before the other customer plus the hot stones were only warm. lets get to the manicure now– he had no clue about the hot oil manicure, the owner had to show him how to do it, but he still did a horible job, he massage my hands for less than 10 seconds and didn’t massage my forearm, I literally had to tell him what to do. it felt so nasty with the hot oil and I felt as if he hasn’t had his training yet. oh god I would have done a better job. was very frustrated but at last Emma came and saved the day, she fixed my manicure, she noticed the poor job on my pedicure and my frustration and said she will talk to the owner and get me a discount next time.
the thing is I don’t care sbout the discount„ I just want you to do your job right, I mean it almost takes like 2 hours for the whole thing and now I have go back and waste another 2 hours…
I will go back and again just to see what happens, if the same shit happens then I would call BBB and mass licensure for manicurist and see if all the technicians are even licensed.
Emma also said that to avoid this kinda experience, you should come in earlier around 10 – 11 am. well lets what happens next…

I was given a gift certificate to the salon. I had been there several times before. I went for a pedicure and it was a horrible experience. First the water was scalding hot and I burned my foot. A man came to give me my pedicure and he cut my toe. I was bleeding a lot and he put some white stuff on it to stop the bleeding. I was in so much pain. The man could see I was in pain but he didn’t know what to do. He rushed through the pedicure and it was a horrible experience! All he wanted to know was «how did I want to pay»? Four days later and I am in pain still and my toe might be infected! Worst place ever!!!

I’ve been a client of nails2000 for about 10 yrs. I’m pretty surprised by the mixed reviews listed here. In 10 years I’ve only made an actual appt twice — my schedule is demanding. I am a 90% walk in client. I Usually only have to wait maybe 5 min, the longest I’ve waited was 15 min and again I was a walk in the day before a holiday.
The tools used on me come out of a machine, and other drill peices out of barbicide, and the place is alway clean in appearance.
There are usually 6 – 8 nail staff, and 5 – 7 pedi staff, some staff can crossover to both. I think all the staff are very good, so I am comfortable going to anyone there. There are 2 large TV, magazines and candy at the front desk.
They are seasoned professionals at keeping people moving in and out, I have only felt rushed one while there. The majority of the times I relax, enjoy the pedi and mani. This is not a day spa — this is a nails and pedi manicure place. They used to have massage but they decided to drop. They do many other things such as wax etc… but I do not partake in those activities.
Once I broke a nail so low from slamming it a car door and it was so painful it brought tears to my eyes. After a couple of days taping that nail I could not even touch anything. I called the salon the owner had me come in he looked at it… put my hand in paraffin wax treatment and while hot and painful at first some how that treatment killed the pain. Then he cleaned and glued my name and cut it down — I was as good as new. So after 10 years — and never had a bad experience — I think that’s a pretty good ratio. I’m not well known there, but they know my name and say hi and use my name each time. They can do nail art — however it’s not unique art just basic flowers, a gem etc.
I wrote this just to give people a long term clients view. Reasonable prices. Good parking except the day before a holiday.

Came here by accident bc i thought it was nail 200 in Westboro (which is awesome btw).
Not impressed here, staff was kind of unprofessional. About 5 staff members eating in the customer areas. Kinda abrupt and short in communication.
I got a pedi and it was EH.
The girl was too light and weak on the touch. Felt kinda half-​a$$. When i was done, she just kinda walked away and left me to figure out how to turn on their drying machine and scramble around for my stuff.
Not horrible, but definitely not the best like they advertise!

I’ve been here several times in a pinch as it’s not close to my house. Each times I walk out with awesome, perfect looking nails without chips or the weird ripple on the side of the nail that sometimes happens with gel manicures. $ 30 for Gels is a great price too. Not much for conversationalists, but whatever. I guess when going with a friend you have to specifically ask to sit next to them and even then it doesn’t always happen. That was a little frustrating. Otherwise, I think it’s a great go to for a good mani/​pedi.

Wow just called for a first time app. I would fire the help if I was the owner. Wanted a pink white fill but might have gone a few minutes over the closing time so they would not do it. Too bad I needed a new nail salon and spend hundred a month on treatments. If I owned a business I would never turn a customer away.

Not bad, seemed pretty clean and got in for a pedicure without an appointment even though they seemed busy. Nails came out good and it didn’t cost a fortune so I’d say it was a positive experience over all.

Best gel manicure I’ve ever gotten.

I really like this place. My usual order is the French manicure and it is a bit pricey, but the lady who did my nails was very informative! I used to think I have bad nails, but she told me that I have great nails and didn’t understand why I want fake nails. When I explained that they get fragile as they grow longer, she recommends gel. I still wanted the French manicure. She complied, but next time, I think I will take her recommendation.
I didn’t wait too long. It’s any wonder they have several awards all over the place! They earned their bragging rights! The environment is beautiful and cozy. They also have 2 flat TV mounted near the ceiling. It’s nice to sit back and relax while you’re getting your nails done.

After going for over a year I called for an appt, went in for it but it was too busy, called back in an hour and they were still too busy.
Went back the next day with my daughter and her friend for our appt and didn’t feel comfortable at all that we were an inconvenience.
Haven’t been back in a few months now. Sadly I now understand where the other reviews are coming from.
