I absolutely feel so mush better after 7 sessions of decompression therapy! My sciatica pain is 80% gone! It is well worth the cost. Even though it is out of pocket. Insurance co. will not pay!

The review I read by Beam U sums this place up very well. The staff seem nice enough but what tehy do is they shuttle you around for a «free tour», which amounts to showing you their expensive machines and promising that you will be «good as new» after their treatments. Then you end up in the office of the Master Hustler himself – Dr. Shleidler, or whatever his name is. Total snake oil salesman. Pushy as hell and just super sleazy. He has some phony picture of him with some kids from an orphanage in Africa on his desk to give him some credibility but this dude is a first-​rate shyster. Combine infomercial greaseball with creepy uncle with used car salesman and that’s who you’re dealing with. At one point, when I told him I am going to consult with my wife about payment, he looked at me and asked, «Sure you don’t want to make a decision now?» He uses fear tactics such as, «just wait until you’re lying on the floor begging for your leg to be cut off because of the unbearable pain». The whole place gave me the creeps. I’m going to call the Gracie Academy that referred me to this place and tell them my experience. Oh, and the last part? They claim to be the only company of its kind to do what they do – ha! Again, just not a good person running this place. His employees seemed nice enough but I could tell they didn’t care much for him.

I was totally skeptical when I first went to Dr. Schleider and learned about spinal decompression. But I was in such pain that I was willing to try anything. About 1−½ years ago I found my self with chronic, excruciating pain radiating from my neck down my arm. Even the tips of my fingers were tingling and feeling numb. After three months of 3x weekly treatments and driving almost 100 miles round trip each time from Temescal Valley to Fountain Valley, I saw little, if any improvement, but I stuck with it. Well, to make a long story short, after about 5 months, I noticed a rapid improvement in my condition. By month 7 and 8, the symptoms cleared almost completely and I am very happy to say that I am pretty much back to my normal life. I still go for monthly maintenance treatments, but the pain is gone. I’m not sure if this treatment is for everyone, but it sure gave me my life back. Thank you Dr. Schleider and your great staff!

I started coming to the spine center about 3 years ago and have found a substantial improvement in my chronic pain in my neck due to an accident when I was a child. I am on maintenance program and they still take amazing care of me. I highly recommend checking it out!

I have suffered from Peripheral Neuropathy since I had chemotherapy in 2007.
They contacted me (I don’t know how they got my information) offering 2 free treatments.
When I called back they told me the needed to evaluate me
I arrived and they offered 5 pages to fill out and permission to take an X ray.
I refused because the problem is not in my spine but in the nerves in my feet.
They would take an x ray without the «DR» exam.
Because I refused, they say they could not see me. You get the x ray then he sees you. I told them that they did not tell me they were going to take x rays when I made the app, (she flushed) then I would not have to stay in traffic one hour to get there, I wouldn’t have gone.
The x ray is not magic, and can’t tell you everything about your disease, and I had x rays and MRI’s before and they did not even request those
This is a money making company praying on uneducated people, on people in pain. They take advantage of insurances that pay for their «treatments»
I go to a reputable Physical therapy group and they help me, manipulation always gives you a sense of well being but they can’t do anything about my Neuropathy and the whole medical community can’t either. I just wanted information of the treatments they offered for Neuropathy and it was denied because i would not take the x ray (money)
I don’t know how the AMA permits and licences this people to” practice medicine” or if it is and other organization, how they are permited and licenced to «treat» anybody
I don’t care for chiropractors, I don’t think there is a valid profession

I have been going here for a month and a half now and am really impressed with the staff and the depth of the treatment. When I started my journey to get relief from neuropathicand lower back pain, I had spent over $ 6000 on three different chiropractors that had advertised relief from neuropathy and got little relief from them for the time and money spent. Lower back pain lessened some but the neuropathy pain stayed about the same. I was initially skeptical about this practice but checked them out and they seemed more legit and was impressed at the 2 hours of treatment per visit. I though iIf they WERE a scam, they are spending an awful lot on staff and equipment, so i decided to take their free trial of 2 visits and then signed on as I was desperate to not have pain the rest of my life from now, age 65 on and they convinced me they could help my situation. .
Since I have come here, the lower back pain has mostlly disappreared and the neuopathy has significant lessened. Even if I forget to take my pain pill, sometimes I dxont even notice that I have little pain during the day. At night, it has improved dramatically and I am getting better sleep. I hope by continuing treatment that it will go away completely. They have a lifetime treatment program which helps guarantee that if any pain comes back, I can get treatments. Since they have been there for over 10 years I feel confident they are here for the long run and will be around when I need them.
My posture when sitting in an office all day has improved and i am more cognizant of it since getting these treatments., This treatment of spinal decompression realigns the critical vertabrates in the spine, restoring some space betweem the vertabrate so it does not pinch the nerves buy touching bone on bone which was shown on my xrays.
The treatments themselves are very relaxing and relieve any stress when done at the end of a work day. They take from 1 ½ to 2 hours with little waiting time between treatments. .
I highly recommend this provider as the only one I have found to really treat neuropathy. The others emphasized lifestyle changes which did not really treat the cause of the pain.

Just a little far for us, but that’s not their fault. Lifetime treatment plan is great. Wife had years of Sciatic pain. Couldn’t sit for more than 30 min without pain. No movies. Dr’s recommended not to to have kids yet since pain would be intense. They fixed her and we had our kid and everything was normal. She just goes back for occassional tuneups and now we can sit through movies and not have to sit in the back where she would stand up every 20 – 30 minutes.

Staff here is very courteous and knowledgeable. I have a pinched nerve in my neck and Lower back and receiving spinal decompression treatments I definitely see an improvement after several months. It is expensive and not covered by most insurances but they work with you on a payment plan.

My Gracie Jiu Jitsu instructor recommended me to this place after I started having major pain in my neck shooting down my right shoulder and right arm. As Dr. Schleider at the Non-​Surgical Spine Care Center discovered, I had a cervical herniated disc between my C5 and C6 vertebrae.
From the onset of my symptoms, I was almost completely debilitated. After about 10 treatments, my pain had reduced enough to where I could finally have somewhat of a life. Now, with 40+ treatments under my belt, I am at 99 percent with only mild discomfort. Of course, age and other factors will determine an individual’s results.
I originally started with four days of treatment per week. I am now down to one visit per week, and I’m continuing to improve.
I am thankful to God for finding this place. Had I gone to my primary physician, I’d probably be having cortisone shots and surgery… Neither of which guarantees a long-​term fix. The treatment at Non-​Surgical Spine Care Center is a permanent solution because they allow the disc to heal completely.

I love coming here. Everyone is sweet except for. … jk. Love the one on one with the doctors. Love hearing and seeing other patients awsome results. Wishing they get the water bed thingy back soon. Really enjoyed that. Thank you

Conclusion: Try this place if all other options fail. You never know it might get you the results you desire. My quotes for my personal treatmeat was $ 4k+ to under $ 5k. So understand this is a very expensive option.
My review is based on an initial consultation, tour, and a 1 time therapy session. Dr. Dave Nguyen and Dr. Barry Schleider told me it would take multiple sessions rather than just 1 session for my personal program.

3. I would like to think that all the money I would pay them would make my back feel better eventually or heal faster/​better and get stronger.
4. They gave a discount for a 1 time up front payment, and multiple other payment options. Flexible payment options are always good.
5. The back machine was painless and seemed interesting.

2. Dr. Schleider comes off to me like a used car salesman. He told me he «doesnt work for free» which I completely understand as he is running an expensive business. But the way he comes off really makes me think and rethink of ever coming back. I had a free consultation but paid him a few hundred dollars to show him his efforts was not wasted on me as I was serious at the time to try his medical services. I understand he wants to help people, but he just rubs me the wrong way when he began explaining or justifying his high costs.
3. The neck machine they put me on seemed «clunky» and imprecise. I felt a good chiropractor working with their hands would be a better option for me.
4. I talked to a highly seasoned chiropractor and masseuse and they both felt this place may be a «scam» but that is subjective to their opinion and not mine. I feel this place seems to get some people results due to testimonials. Thus, can only conclude as a review for people to consider trying this expensive option when all other options fail.

Back problems have not gone away nor were they ever relieved even with this treatment. I am just doomed to have back problems. Regardless, it was expensive and wish I had not commited to this program.

This place was recommended to me by my former Gracie Jiu Jitsu instructor as I ended up having lower back issues after a back injury doing an academy tournament. I did not know about core strengthening and how that was related to having a strong back.
Dr. Barry Schleider, director and founder of the Non-​Surgical Spine Care Center, took my wife and I in for a free consultation and tour of the facility and after taking a look at our X-​rays, recommended we do the therapy as some candidates may not be considered. Be fair warned of the Dr’s marketing pressuring you into the treatment. I already went in there knowing I wanted to do it anyway.
This facility not only does spinal decompression, but they can take care of the neck and feet as well. There are also core sessions and check ups that monitor your treatment.
We pay the treatments up front and the staff works with insurance to see what can be covered. Once the doctors decide that the treatment sessions are less frequent, you can go from once a week (on our schedule), to once ever 2 weeks, to once every 4 weeks, and finally once every half year. Should your issues ever come back, they will put you back on the program again without incurring additional costs.
The process for the spinal decompression basically involves warming up the back for about 5 minutes. This is followed up by spinal decompression on a machine that pulls weight based on the specific part of the spine that needs treatment for 20 minutes. Next, the Hako med treatment (suction cups with electrical stimulation to the back) and what really feels good after that is the aqua bed for about 5 minutes. Finishing off with a back support with an ice pack all in about 1 hour’s time. Great therapy for sure!
The staff here are all great. They are very personable and caring for your needs. Definitely worth the trip and relaxation.

I’ve gone through the evaluation and one treatment. I have to tell you that Dr. S and his employees take good care of you. A very thoughtful crew, very professional and great work ethic. The process is very well thought out from the time you come through the door to the time you leave, they pay special attention to the patient’s care and well being.

My name is Ken Scholl I have been in severe pain for 2 years now with lower back pain and it was causing me so much pain that I was unable to ride my motorcycle, (that is my passion in life) I was at the swap meet and saw a booth with a very friendly doctor Dr. Barry, he spent nearly 1 hour with me at the swap meet listening attentively, offering possible solutions to my pain. I am not an old guy i’m only 32 I injured my back while I was working (I was a mechanic at the time) and after nearly 25 visits to different chiropractic offices that I had to go to due to workers compensation policy my back was met with no relief and I was told I would take pain medication for the rest of my life. So when I met Dr. Barry at his booth and he explained that he could review my file at his office at no charge I figuered why not. I brought my file in (after I found it) that was a challenge in itself the Dr. made good on his promise to review my file and give me a consultation at no charge and stated that if I can’t help you Ken then I won’t charge you. I was speculative at first but the Dr. explained that the procedure of spinal decompression was a fairly new treatment and that they were having great success in eliminating chronic back pain. I was desperate to get off the pain pills and get rid of my back pain and start riding my motorcycle again so I signed up for the treatment. It wasn’t cheap, around $ 4,000 but in my opinion it was priceless. 30 days after beginning treatment I was not only off my pain medicine I was actually excercising again and had lost 18 pounds.
