The doctor is knowledgeable and the staff are nice. The long waiting time was my only negative, but again i did a walk-​in.

I have previously written a scathing review due to the fact that I waited almost 2 hours but please do hear me out.
The nurses here or most of the staff seem to be trying hard to be cheerful. Upon coming in at 9am this place is swamped with crying children and irritable parents. I was one of those annoyed because I recently got into a car accident a few days ago. My stomach and neck hurt and I have bruises everywhere.
The asian lady in the front helped me and was genuinely concerned about what happened. You need to talk to the ladies in the front if its your first time. Then make an appointment. I came around 9am and made my appointment, was told to pay 20 dollars copay to the window and submit my form back to the lady. Then they called me in.
It looks like (as usual) the patient to doctor ratio is 1 doctor for every 10 patients or more. That is why the doctors take so long to get to you. You need to be patient after all this is a very affordable clinic.
My vital stats were taken and Dr. Kinh Tran saw me and he even remembered he wasn’t able to see me last time (which was my fault for being impatient).
He told me that I was lucky to be alive since it has been 3 days since the accident and I was still here feeling okay save for a bunch of physical pains that were upon his examination normal for post car accident scenario.
I remember feeling teary eyed there, it was explained to me that if I came the first day of my accident they would have had to send me to the hospital for a CAT scan but now its been the 3^rd day and things look kosher so I must be fine, but to be wary of strange or uncommon pains and since it was going to be the weekend I should report to a hospital immediately.
Dr. Tran prescribed pain relievers (Motrin) and a sleeping medication because my neck hurt so much that I cant sleep properly. Hes a very kind and soft spoken doctor with good beside manners (which made me wanna cry due to my emotional situation).
All in all sorry for the knee jerk reaction and please do give them a try — they are trying their best.

The lady in the front is super rude and has a strong Vietnamese accent. I called to make an appointment for my father and she hangs up on me because she said my father was not one of Dr Ngyuen’s patients, when he clearly was. I called insurance to verify. Called again and she decided she did not have time to wait for me to give her his member ID so she rudely hangs up. I’m completely baffled by her professionalism, or lack thereof. I ended up calling the next day and someone else assisted me, who had a much nicer attitude. I got an appointment because it was urgent, but I regret it because this place was extremely unprofessional. I was able to put a face to the rude lady and not only does she have an extremely rude attitude, but she also dresses unprofessional as well. You’re working at the doctor’s office and you’re dressed in a short skirt and high heeled boots. I’m not sure if the front desk lady is supposed to be taking a patient’s weight, height, and temperature, but I’m sure you shouldn’t be wearing heels doing so. They hurdle a bunch of patients in one room to get all their weight, height, etc. It’s super crowded and they have an old man with a needle and a small machine with his leg up. That’s just dangerous especially since there was at least 7 people in the room. Switched my father’s primary physician/​insurance group right away. In addition, I had an appointment at 10:15 and waited over an hour to see the doctor. When I did see him, this lady came into our room twice to get his signature for a stack of paperwork. I understand the doctor’s office can get busy at times, but my experience was just ridiculous. The total time we had with the doctor was probably less than 20 mins. To top off this horrible experience, I had to wait over 20 mins just for them to give me his refill prescription/​paperwork.

Got in at 15 minutes early to wait to wait 2 hours… Staff sucks, especially the front office lady.

This is the 3^rd times I came here for physical check up and has been treated with a good care by Dr. Hoang Nguyen. The cold and flu this season almost killing me by some kind of virus. I have been coughing a lot for couple weeks. Dr Nguyen gave me a shot that help my cold go away in only couple days. Thanks him and his staffs.

Possibly the rudest and most unprofessional office staff that I have dealt with at ANY business. I originally called on a Friday just before 4:30pm to make an appointment. The office hours are explicitly stated as being open until 5pm. My call was answered by an incredibly rude woman who told me they were closed and to call back monday. There was no option to leave a message or even ask a question. When I tried to ask one quick question she repeated that the office was closed and hung up on me.
This morning, I called at around 10:30am and there was no answer (despite them opening at 9am) — not even a voicemail. I tried back 15 minutes later and finally spoke to an equally rude woman (possibly the same) who told me there were no appointments within the date ranges that I was looking for. When I tried to ask about a different set of dates, she simply said there were no open dates for when I was looking and hung up on me… even as I was trying to ask a follow-​up question.
I don’t want to make assumptions or jump to conclusions, but the woman I spoke with in both situations had a very strong Vietnamese accent. It is altogether possible that she didn’t fully understand me (since I only speak English). But if you’re going to support patients that do not speak Vietnamese, then please have someone who is fluent in English answering your telephone and making appointments.
This experience honestly has me considering switching medical group networks to be able to partner with a different PCP. a

If you have premium insurance, go elsewhere. There WILL be a long wait here with a ton of low income patients. Every time I go, it’s usually around 2 hrs even with an appointment.
During my first visit, I told the doctor I was a student and he gave me a discount! Pretty sure there’s one if you are poor as well. Got my blood tests here. The ladies who draw my blood are very experienced and professional. Never getting any bruises or having problems finding my blood vessels.
Some of the workers may seem impolite at first but once you get to know them, they are actually really nice and always trying to help. Just under a lot of stress dealing with so many patients, questions, phone calls, and pharmaceutical representatives all the time. You get a bit rushed to get in and out with the doctor, but you can see why with how many patients there are in the waiting room and how much he likes to talk. The doctor, however, will answer all of your questions.
