Nail Sketch

First off the quality of the work depends on the person. Sophia is great, everything she does always pleases me. She is also very meticulous which I love. Today she was busy so I went to Tina. Not only did I feel rushed by her she cut my finger and did a half ass job on my nails. My fault for not waiting for Sophia but just a warning to stay away. Waste of $ 30.

I didn’t like them at all. I came to take off my acrylic nails. I spoke Vietnamese but I didn’t speak any to them. I came in and asked how much it’ll be. I heard them spoke in Vietnamese that its going to be $ 7.00. The other lady said to me in English, it’ll be «$ 10» instead. I got kind of upset because they were trying to rip me off. The lady were kind of rough with my nails, so i kept looking to make sure she does everything right. My whole family does nails and have their own shop up in NorCal, so i know what/​how things should be done. She kept telling me to stop looking and that she won’t hurt me. turns out when she buffered my nails, She made my pinky bled. It hurts for several days. She didn’t even say anything, not even a single «sorry». The whole time sitting there, they were just gossiping about their co-​workers, etc. I understood everything they said. I didn’t say anything, I just couldn’t wait to get out of there and never return.

The ladies were all nice, but my gel nail polish started peeling 2 days later and it was way too expensive for what I got. I’ve been to places that were half the cost and my nails were good for a month.

My first time here. The best pedicure I have ever had! The exfoliation, hot stones, massage, and nails all perfect! She did not rush at all like some places seem to do to get to the next client. Very professional. My nail technician’s name was Michelle.

This place is clean enough. Unfortunately, they never have enough people working, they take too long, & are not consistent in their price. I am someone who needs to come in after 5 o’clock due to my work schedule. I would assume, that most other people, due to working a 9-​to-​5 job, need to come in after this time as well. They are only open until 7:00 PM, which already makes it crowded & rushed. For instance, I came in tonight at 5:45 pm. There were three people working. Two people were on one woman doing her nails and toes. The other one took me straight away to paint my bare nail’s with gel polish (no manicure, just painting my nails). It took the girl 50 minutes to paint my nails. My friend had joined me and waited for over 50 minutes to get a pedicure. She ended up leaving, because there was never anyone available to do her toenails. Upon leaving and paying my bill, the girl charged me $ 30 for a service that I always pay $ 18 for. Rather than complain to the woman, who was obviously ready to close up shop, I decided to never go there again.

Worst service ever! Not only did my gels turn out uneven and not covering my whole nail, I requested a specific pedicure and did not receive it. My nail tech kept leaving and helping other people. This place may be clean, but their service and quality of work make them the worst place I have ever been to. I highly recommend anyone looking for decent service, go somewhere else.

Ugh… waste of Money… Massage terrible… and manicure sucked… friendly but their work is not that great. no wonder I was the only one in there on a Saturday!

Very nice place clean and friendly. Loved the hot stone massage. Was able to get a pedicure and waxing for a great price. Totally recommend and will visit again.

This may be a clean salon but the work they do there has got to be the worst I’ve ever seen to in my 45 years of life they couldn’t do a pedicure and my fill barely lasted 5 days. I paid for gel coating and it came off after 1 week. I have never had gel come off like that before. Every person there seems incompetent. Other customers complained while I was there too
I will never go there again.

Second time I come here and still not good. First time I got a mani there it was decent I liked the hot rocks. That same day nail polish chipped off. About a week ago I thought I’d try it out again, since I was going up that street. I asked for a mani and acrylic nails. They only did acrylic on me though. She was rude and then accidentally glued a nail to the back of my finger and stuck it back in to my actual nail. The next morning that same nail she stuck back on chipped off. I went back to get it fixed but no one could do acrylic nails when I went back. Not even a full week with these nails and they are already chipping off.

Well I used to love this place but nothing makes someone more upset than having to pay and tip for something that wasn’t done well! After today I don’t think I’ll be wasting money on gel manicures here. My cuticles were cut 3 times due to the fact that she was SCRUBBING my nails with the buffer so hard that my skin burned and then cut open. When I pointed out that she cut me, she did not apologize, she just told me my nail was uneven. On top of that, the polish was not applied evenly and you can see through to my nails in some places. The polish was also applied too far down from the cuticle in places looking like gel had already grown out and the sides are painted so sloppy! $ 30 for a gel manicure here is not super outrageous but also too much to pay for poor quality. I would rather pay much more and have the best quality… It will be back to Atlas Studio for my manicures!

I received a gift certificate to Nail Sketch so I went for a pedicure and decided to add a gel manicure. The pedicure chair (and the one next to me) was broken and cracked and uncomfortable. I had picked out my colors for both mani and pedi and was waiting for someone to start the manicure. About 15 – 20 minutes into pedicure, another woman walked in and asked for the same thing I asked for, and two women went to work immediately on her. I asked if someone would be starting on my manicure and they told me that they forgot. Long story short, they didn’t start on my manicure until 25 minutes after my pedicure. I should’ve left but I stuck it out. The manicure was not done right and I had to ask the manicurist to correct several nails. She was not happy. I will never go back, even with a gift certificate.

I went on a day and time where there was only me as the customer. No rush or anything, that’s good. (1^st star).
I got a regular mani and pedi. Nicole did my pedicure and she did an OK job, she took her time and I noticed she’s really nice. (2^nd star for this). She doesn’t like to clean polish around the toe nails though.
My mani was done by a Vietnamese lady, who didn’t like for me to turn on the massage chair… She said it’s hard for her to do my nails. I didn’t like that because that is part of the whole experience.
CUTICLES… She barely touched my cuticles and just doused my fingers with oil to cover up any snags… Painting of my nails… I brought in a light pink Essie color from home and she still didn’t color the whole nail and some were actually painted on my skin. I can understand that if it’s a dark color you’re gonna want to stay away cuticles but ½ day and it looked like 2 weeks went by; grown out nails (because polish was way away cuticles) and a lot of cuticle snags… So in need of another mani.
Overall my experience… Mediocre; if I need a quick mani pedi, because I’m near the freeway, and if I was stuck in that center without car, or if all other nail shops closed down, I’ll come again. All of which would never happen. This is my last time frequenting.

This place is really clean and has nice vibe. Also the workers are nice and friendly and do wonderful job. Im def going back!
