JDA’s Routine Tattoo & Piercing

Jordan did a great job on our piercings! An industrial, tragus and set of standard ear piercings. He was patient and took very good care of us!

Belly piercing for $ 40 including the jewlerly. Jeff was so nice! It was my first piercing ever and everything went smooth and well.
Had surgery and my belly button piercing closed so I came back and Jordan was able to do my belly piercing. Perfect, quick and painless. He charged me $ 35. Thx Jordan!

I just wanna say that I loved Rafael’s work. He was very professional and he took his time to make me feel comfortable.
I got a duplicate of my grandma’s paint and I just love it.

Went in for a small wrist tattoo today. I walked in with no appointment. I was helped right away, showed them a picture of the tat I wanted. They gave me a good price and we went from there. Ralphie did my tattoo. He was sweet, funny, and he made the process a breeze. He clearly enjoys his work and I am very pleased with the end result. Btw, he made sure to sanitize everything & he did not rush during the process. I appreciate that because it shows that he wants to put out quality work and he wants his customers to be satisfied! I recommend this shop.

I wouldn’t even give this place a one star, but it’s making me. I came in with my wife to get matching tattoos on our fingers with only 4 small letters spelling ‘wife’ and it is one of the worst tattoos I have ever received. The lining is extremely shaky, the cursive doesn’t flow, it’s fucking horrible. I now have this tattoo on my finger for the rest of my life and I’m embarrassed. When I came back in not only to get my money back he told me ‘Not to worry about it that it will fade’… I would never go back to this shop or recommend it to absolutely anyone.

First of all: I highly recommend this place!
I came here before the new manager took over and wow, what a difference.
Before it looked like a run down shop and it honestly made me not want to go back and a little scared.
Place was covered in dust, had spiderwebs in every corner, the lights where flickering/​more than half the lights didnt even work so it looked dark and gloomy, the door was broken, and holy crap was the staff rude.
I honestly don’t know how the old shop had good reviews. It was like they didn’t understand what the words CLEAN and FRIENDLY means. One of them clearly didn’t understand the word HYGINE, either.
Apparently one of the guys, Jeff, that used to work there also said he was the owner of the shop when he really wasn’t? What other things did they lie about to customers? I cannot express how sketch that place was.
The rest of the dudes there seemed super sketch and super rude. No one said hi and I basically felt ignored… According to the people in that area, the tattoo artists there were apparently racist. Makes sense!
ANYWAY. The shop now is the complete opposite and I’m more than willing to go back!
All the lights work, new paint, remodeled, new super nice/​funny/​extremely talented tattoo artists, super clean with no dust, no spiderwebs, the door works, new signs, they ACTUALLY have plugs for sale in the display case along with cool shirts, and it just looks so bright and professional… The art work around the place is awesome and let me also say that the bathroom is CLEAN. Last time I used it (before the upgrade) I walked right out because the huge cockroach in there welcomed me into his home and offered me coffee. Honestly, the new guy put in work to this place and it paid off.
Speaking of which, the new owner is a total sweetheart! Don’t let all his tattoos cover the fact that he’s a super chill guy. He’s so talkative and will do what he can to make you feel comfortable. He’ll also tell you the story behind the «JDA» in the name of the shop. It’s tragic but sweet.
I really like him and the new tattoo artists. I feel right at home. Especially since the place is clean enough to be my home– which is important for tattoos and piercings!
This place is so much better than how it used to be and I can’t wait to make the drive back up there.

First of all what happened to Jeff! This place is not the same where needles and pins that I know ! Then you walk in and it takes time for someone to greet you then you say what you wanna get tatted ok … Then they have a messenger going around what kind of bs is that shouldn’t I be talking directly to the artist then they give you a price and you say color and it jump to 400 dollars more what the f**k … This place is lost my business and I’m pretty sure it will continue to if this shit stays the same and who ever knows where Jeff went please let me know

Went in today to get an orbital piercing done with my friend. Spoke to Jeff and right from the start I knew he was very knowledgable and professional! Had great advice on how to take care of piercings and just figuring out if a tattoo/​piercing parlor is a good fit for you.
Made both my friend and I feel very comfortable and relaxed while getting the piercing. He also gave us each a slurpee to help get some sugar in us after he did the piercings. Jeff also dealt with us both making him re-​do the pen marking multiple times before we were okay with the spot.
Overall, Jeff is the most informative and considerate piercer I have had. Definitely recommend friends to go to him. Not to mention the piercing was only $ 40.

Jeff and all the people there were so supportive. I had my navel pierced about 20 years ago. It was so bad at the place I weny in HB that I had to remove it the same week. I finally got it repierced at Jeff’s place. Quick almost painless and he explained everything first and listened to my concerns. It is fantastic! Perfectly placed. I plan to keep it forever! Don’t go anywhere else! Seriously!

Ok so my boyfriends sister went back to him to get her nose pierced because of their warranty. She had gone with her other sister. I realized she got it pierced when I got home and noticed that the nose ring was sticking out on top WAY too much. I tried looking inside her nose and never found the end of the ring, so I tried to push it in a little more. still saw nothing. so I told her to take out her nose ring and show me. I don’t know what kind of professional piercer lets someone walk out with their nose ring looking like that! the end of her nose ring was spiraled and it didn’t go all the way through her skin. it was more like inside her nose skin! I cant describe it, but it was a horrible piercing job! We are not returning!

I got a piercing at Needles & Pins tonight and it was an awesome experience. I was extremely nervous and the guy who did it made me feel at ease. I would definitely recommend this place to get pierced!

I found this location on Unilocal and decided to come here to get my septum pierced. Jeff helped me out, he was extremely nice and informing! I was pretty nervous and he made me feel comfortable. After we finished with the process he gave me a slurpee so I could have some sugar in me. I gave him 3 stars because he was very nice however I feel that my septum is not pierced evenly.

Okay so I only went in here because I lost my ball for my tongue piercing so I needed a new bar. I didn’t know the shop was under new management so I was able to meet the owner Jeff (I’m hoping that is his name sorry!). I saw some art work on the walls and was contemplating on begging a tattoo soon but unsure what I wanted because all my tattoos symbolize and mean something to me. Anyhow I bought the wrong size in length for the bar and went back a couple days later. I brought back a Chinese character that I wanted to tattoo on with the art work I saw the days before. So Jeff wanted to do a quick free hand on the back of my neck and when he was done with the work and I looked in the mirror how it came out I liked what I saw. First thing he asked me was «do u feel like being spontaneous? I have a client in 30 mins and I can get this done before they come in.» And OF COURSE being me; since it was already there I said I already knew from the start this was going to happen and we got that quick ink tattood on me really fast. I forget sometimes that I have it but it’s been awhile and it’s fully recovered. Thank you for being a nice a genuine tattoo artist to tattoo something that means a lot to me, my culture and my family.

Went in knowing what I wanted and Christopher was willing and able to accommodate! He was very knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable. Love what he did.

I didn’t actually get any piercings or tattoos here but I came in to get my nipple piercings taken out. I felt so awkward because I’m due any day but Jeff helped me out and was extremely professional and welcoming. The place is clean and service was fast. I would deff come back to this place for any future piercings!

Went in for a piercing and it was awesome! The man who did my piercing was super friendly and he did everything to ensure it was the piercing I wanted and to make me comfortable. The décor in the place is also just cool!

Got my first tattoo here and loved everything about this place. If you want great work by some awesome artist then this is the place!

This place is hands down my favorite tattoo shop. Gina did an amazing job on a drawing I had brought in. She added a few things to make it exactly what I had envisioned and she was super patient with me since I got really squirming after about an hour (it was my first big piece and it was on my ribs). The next time I need something I will defiantly be making the 45 minute trip again!

I came here with a friend to provide moral support as she got a tattoo. I have many friends who have Tat’s and while I don’t have any (currently) I do have a lot of respect for the art and skill which are required but had never actually seen (in-​person) how a Tattoo is applied.
As soon as we pulled-​up I knew we were in the right place! Right out front was a blacked-​out Harley, 60’s rock music could be heard playing from a stereo inside and the walls were covered in posters, all signs of a cool place!
My friend had an appointment with Gina who couldn’t have been more accommodating. She was friendly, answered all of my friends questions and did a great job explaining the whole process. In no time she made a stencil out some artwork we’d brought with us. During the process she did a great job making sure my friend wasn’t in any unnecessary pain. She worked quickly and the whole time talked with us just as casually as if we were all sitting at a Salon.
In the end my friend’s Tat turned-​out great! And got me thinking about maybe getting some ink of my own. If (/​when) I do I’ll be hitting Gina up for sure!
