Cryotherapy? Your first thought might be, so is this where they’re keeping the body of Walt Disney, and I’m not sure if I’m ready to be frozen and thaw’d out some time in the future just yet. Well let those thoughts go, neither of those things have any validity here.
I’ve been doing cryotherapy for some time now, as fitness has plagued me with injuries over time. And if the injuries are muscle related, my first stop will always be do to some cryo.
The great thing about Cryospot is it’s hands down the cheapest place to go in OC, which means you can go more often. I can compare it to driving a high performance vehicle, lots of wear means you need to service it often, same goes for yourself. If you’re constantly putting your body through strenuous activity, why not put it through some maintenance?
The people at Cryospot are informative about cryotherapy if you’re not already in the know, so they’ll be able to shed some light on all the great benefits it can give you. And the place has a private little dressing room area so you’re not walking around in your underwear for everyone to see.
If you’ve been thinking about trying Cryotherapy, this is def the place to go for your first time. They’re always offering awesome deals, and it’s by far the cheapest place, so why not give it a shot?
Trust me, you’ll feel amazing after you do.

I had absolutely no intentions of trying cryotherapy out– I went with my husband and even told Vic not to even bother telling me about the benefits because I hate the cold and will not do it! After seeing my friend and husband do it, and remembering how Vic said it helps with muscle soreness and recovery which I was in desperate need of due to a heavy leg day, I decided what the heck, if 3 mins of ridiculous coldness could help alleviate the soreness I had due to my workout I would give it a shot. It was cold but not unbearable, and not as cold as –150 degrees sounds like. Immediately after I got out, I could tell a HUGE difference. I am on a strict workout program, and plan on continuing to go to Cryospot to help relieve my aches and get me ready for the next workout. Vic was very knowledgable and never once made me feel forced to try it. Comfortable environment and out of the many options, you should definitely try Cryospot out over the rest! And much more reasonably priced then others!

After leaving my chiropractors office for a lower back injury…
I was very skeptical about getting cryotherapy. When I arrived to Cryospot, I was greeted Vic and his awesome staff that really put me at ease. I was worried I was wasting my time and money for a lower back problem I’ve had to deal with for years but the pain was too much not to try.
Vic was able to explain thoroughly what the benefits were and what the experience would be like. I was able to go into the chamber with confidence after he explained everything.
It was about 3 minutes long and was a pain free experience (it was cold but a lot more bareable than what you would imagine — 250 degrees would feel like).
Immediately after stepping out, I felt a tingling sensation throughout my body as it started to warm itself back up. I was able to function normally within a couple minutes after the session.
One note that flew over my head when Vic was explaining the benefits… He said «you’ll rest well tonight! «. I went home to sleep later that evening without thinking much about it but after I wokeup in the morning, I felt like I came out of hibernation. No joke. Hands down the best sleep I’ve had in a very long time.
My back pain has subsided since my first treatment and ive been there 2 times since. I do not plan on stopping anytime soon.
I’m so thankful for the benefits this treatment has provided for my injuries. I can honestly say the quality of my life has gone up.

Went to try it out on my sprained ankle. Initially didn’t notice a huge difference, but the next morning it felt much better.
Was initially on my way to Polar Cryotherapy, but they wouldn’t accommodate 2 people at the same time and needed advance booking. I called up Cryospot and they said they didn’t have any kind of reservation, and everything was walk in. Each person takes an average of like 10 mins from start to finish.
Instead of buying the groupon, talk to them since they have many promotions. I ended up paying way less than the groupon.

First time at CryoSpot and it was definitely a comfortable, well explained visit. I have complications with pain for my Multiple Sclerosis and while given cryotherapy a shot before at different locations, this location was definitely one that I would come back to. Their packages are good deals as well as their environment is totally chill.
Aida helped me out tonight and she made it a great experience with letting me know the benefits and what CryoSpot has to offer as well as their flexibility with when you can come in. Their hours are great for those coming out of work or during their lunch break. Will definitely be back with my package deal! Can’t wait!

I had an excellent experience at Cryospot. The owner Vic, an athlete himself, is very knowledgeable about Cryotherapy and is very precautious about this safe and effective procedure. I was told that I had excellent blood pressure and that I am very healthy. After doing the therapy, I felt brand new. Brand New, as if the experience at –250 degrees had commissioned processes in my body that have never been called upon. I felt great for the rest of the day as my body warmed itself back to equilibrium. Although I am not much of an athlete, I don’t ever see myself going through the tedium of an ice bath. This procedure takes literally 15 – 18 minutes minutes from when you get out of your car to when you get back into your car and get on with your day. Highly recommended.

Just tried my first cryotherapy session. I did it just after my workout at the gym and can feel a reduction in muscle fatigue. Also being my first time they did a good job explaining the back ground of where cryotherapy came from, how your body reacts to it, and its benefits.

Vic, one of the owners was here when I had my first session… such a nice guy. The service was amazing. The facility was super clean and very cozy. As for the cryo therapy session… wow, what an experience. It was crazy cold but the feeling afterwards is unreal. I feel like a million bucks! I recommend signing up for one of their package deals!

I came down from Oregon for vacation unfortunately when I came down I was dealing with some issues of my own as I had some pretty bad injuries. I came thru here because I had heard so many good things, and it was a great experience. Their staff was extremely knowledgable and they ensured we knew everything beforehand. I feel great now and my pains and aches have gone away. Would recommend without a doubt!

My girlfriend and I really like this place.
I do admit that I was a bit nervous before my first treatment because I didn’t know what to expect; but the staff made sure that I understood the process… which put my mind at ease.
After my first treatment, I was excited and felt good. Both my girlfriend and I signed up with a multi-​use package.
Since my first experience, I have brought a friend and continue to refer others because the benefits of Cryotherapy is something that a lot of people are unaware of.

Hands down one of the best therapy experiences ever.
I lift six days a week, hike on the seventh. I’m always sore. Cryotherapy literally eliminates the delayed on-​set muscle soreness that I routinely feel. It also helps make you feel refreshed like you just got a good night’s sleep in the span of three minutes.
The shop is clean, and organized, the sessions are private (not a bunch of people crowding around) and also supervised to insure safety. They have a private changing area, and provide robes, socks, gloves, and insulated slippers.
Good people running this place too. They talk to you during the session to keep you preoccupied so the temperature isn’t on your mind so much. I’m glad I went the first time, and I’m glad that I’m a routine customer.

After I heard that cryotherapy helps with anxiety I couldn’t wait to come give it a try. I’m I glad I came to Cryospot! Their business is in a nice location in Fountain Valley, it’s very clean, had my own little private dressing room, and both Vic and Aida were full of useful information for this first timer. For the first 30 seconds I was very nervous but Vic and Aida talked me through the session and helped keep me calm. After the session I felt invigorated and euphoric. That night I got some really good deep sleep that my body so needed. Cryo helps with anxiety, inability to sleep, and rids your body of harmful toxins. Both my friend and I (who joined me for her first time as well) purchased a package and I can’t wait for my next session!

First time for me, I was recommended by a few friends who use this kind of therapy from training/​sports. I don’t beat up my body as much as those guys, unless you consider extreme eating a sport, however I had some aches and pains from working out the day before, and I also suffer from some arthritis.
Vic set me up and went over the whole procedure. He was extremely thorough and spent time explaining the benefits of this kind of therapy. Think ice bath but being able to take care of it in 3 minutes instead of sitting in a tub for a long time. Stripped down to gloves, socks, and rubber shoes I went in to the chamber. It felt really refreshing. 3 minutes went by fairly fast. Stepping out of it, the initial feeling was interesting. Maybe the rush of blood shooting back in to your body, but I felt pretty good. Didn’t feel the aches and pains, probably because my body was still a bit numb. Felt pretty good afterwards as well.
This supposedly helps with anxiety and sleep, which I definitely have trouble with waking up every two hours every night. We’ll see how this works tonight, but I’ll definitely be back to try a few more sessions. Especially during my next arthritis flare up.

Went here for my first ever cryotherapy session. It was awesome! Super clean office, friendly knowledgeable staff. I work out a lot and have aches and pains everywhere along with 3 slipped discs in my lower back. Even after the first session I felt some relief. If you are nervous about how cold it is, don’t be! It wasn’t bad at all. I felt great after. I bought a package and will definitely be going regularly.

The entire staff is super friendly and educated on the process. I work out daily and after just doing 1 cryotherapy session my body feels amazing, I know do it at least 1 – 2 twice a week. The prices are great I would definitely recommend this place to anyone thinking about doing a session!

My first time, and I must say, I love it… Feels like I am walking on air after, and my muscle and joints feels amazing and I am glad that i was talk into doing this Cryospot. Very friendly staffs and amazing people. Thanks again to Vic Misa for a treatment i really need. Well, be back for sure.

This place is AMAZING! The staff is awesome. Vic really goes above and beyond to explain the whole procedure. I have seen a similar service on TV, and I was dying to try it. At 1^st I was a little worried, because –250° it’s beyond cold, but after 3 quick minutes I was glad I did it! Since I started working out after a long break (we all know, what happens) I was beyond sore, but after doing it a couple of times, not only I recover faster, but the sore went away!
They also have great packages, there is only a couple of places like this in O.C. but this one is by far the best value! 24 sessions for $ 500 it’s a steal! Thank you!

At first I was skeptical but after reading if how it works, I gave it a try. I was greeted by Vic who is one of the owners and he explained how it all works and the benefits. You sign your waver and then strip down into your underwear or whatever. You wear gloves and keep your socks on to avoid freezing. They also provide slippers to prevent your toes from freezing. All is provided and you don’t need to bring anything.
I jump in and was cold. My first session was 2:30 min and didn’t feel it immediately but everyone is different. I did notice my lower back did feel much better later on and arthritis in my knees was not as bad anymore.
For my second session I came in with much more pain and a slight hangover. Lasted 3 min this time and hangover was pretty much gone after along with stiffness in my forearm and lower back.
If you are curious of the treatment, I’d recommend it at least once. Then you can decide from there.
I’ll definitely be getting more sessions.

Iv only been here 3 times so far and I’m honestly feeling the best I have in a while. I got two back surgeries about two years ago and I still get pain from inflammation. This is like an ice bath on Steroids! I originally won a free session and after the first one I knew I had to get there 5 session deal. It’s not the cheapest procedure and it might be cheaper to just do ice baths, but The big difference is that ice baths can’t get as cold as liquid nitrogen can. So it’s definitely worth it.
