We specialize in American-​style pub grub with a uniquely Texan twist. Our menu ranges from the spicy Texican, boasting fresh-​made guacamole, flavorful pepper jack cheese and sizzling jalapenos, to the crowd pleasing Nelly, our any-​time breakfast sandwich with two eggs cooked to order, double American cheese and double bacon — both are absolutely delicious. Top either off with our homemade chilli and make yourself at home in flavor country.

Feel like being in charge? Make up your own burger, hotdog or jalapeño cheddar sausage combination with any of our toppings. Who knows? We might just add your creation to the menu.

History

Established in 2011.

A minister, a handsome cook and his beautiful wife decided to open a food trailer in the heart of Fort Worth’s Cultural District. The rest is evident in every bite of our food.

The best food truck on 7th street. I am a burger type of guy an can eat my weight in them. Have I had better burgers yes I have but not on 7th street. the one ding is it is a truck an you have to sit outside. I don’t care about that, but I we or going to break our consecutive 100 degree days in a row ugh it is still warm at night. Will I go back HELL YES. I think I had chilly, but don’t remember. I know I had fries oh my they were gooooddd. The service was not fast cause the food is made to order (thats a good thing) he is on facebook so he can get his days of operation an hours they or limited. I know when it gets cooler I will be back

We spent the other evening cruising the food trucks around West 7th, and this was the place we originally want to visit. I had a taste of the big guy’s mushroom Swiss burger (with bacon added), and it was delicious. I only got one bite, so I can’t give too much more of a description! We split a chili dog, and was underwhelmed with either the chili or the dog… not sure which. The fries were de-​honkin-​licious! I loved them! I didn’t want to share them at all.
The fellas working the Trough were super-​cool — really friendly and good with recommending a few different things to try. They’re open nightly from 7pm — 2am (I think), so you probably won’t be able to score lunch… though the next item I plan to try is the Nelly, a breakfasty egg sandwich.
