The Wiener Man

Best Hotdogs I have had in ages! I ended up at the new Fort Worth Food Park recently and I really wanted the Lee’s Grilled Cheese but they were out of everything I wanted to try or order. So thank goodness they were out or I would not have found my new obsession THEWeinerMan. I tried The crunch Dog, The Rahr Dog and The Alchemist and I absolutely cannot rave enough about all of them. I am now following them or shall I say stalking them on Twitter and know they will be hard to stay on my New Years diet. I

I tried the Alchemist, which was a delicious li’l concoction. To be honest, I’ve never had a hotdog with freshly cooked spinach, bacon, avacado, pico, and spicy mayo on top. What a creative treat.
The meat itself was tasty and cooked well — not like one of those dogs that’s been sitting in hot water for hours. The bun was soft and seemed like it’d been brushed with butter — it had a beautiful shiny sheen of deliciousness.
One of the best dogs I’ve ever had. No joke.

Tried them at UT Arlington during homecoming, and I am a fan!
I had the chili nachos and out of all the food trucks present, they were the best quantity for price and the messiest (a fork for nachos? I don’t think so). The chips were seasoned and thick but crunchy, and the slew of toppings blended right into the chili as I ate.
Don’t miss this one!

My favorite was the alchemist! I even got to try the bacon, it was also as awesome as the dogg itself! Caught them at the fort worth food truck park!

Heavenly hotdogs, and the goudachos (Gouda cheese nachos with homemade chips) were delicious!

My Fiancé and I went to this food truck behind Poag Mahones after getting out from the bar.
First impression: Cool Truck, hard to miss. But when we looked at the menu, it kinda bothered me a bit that the font for the menu was so small that I had to literally stand next to read the menu. That won’t help them if there is a big crowd waiting to order, because you can’t see the menu.
I got The Alchemist, which honestly could’ve been better. I liked that it had veggies, and the mayo on it wasn’t too thick. But the bacon wrapped hotdog was tiny, and there was more bread than anything. So I felt like they used the bread to fill me up, rather than the actual hot dog. And I paid $ 5 dollars for pretty much a hot dog I could’ve made at 7Eleven for $ 3.
I believe in second chances, but it’ll will probably be a while before I go back
