Sally’s Flower Shoppe & Gifts

I popped in here for a visit the other day, just for fun The sweet old fashioned floral shop sign, and the adorable pink building were just calling my name. I pulled u-​turn, pulled right up in front of the building and moseyed my way in.
I was welcomed by the most friendly face I think i’ve ever met in my life. Mr. Dale, who told me he used to own the shop, but now just works as one of the florists chatted with my the entire time. I wanted to stay forever just to talk with him! I looked all through the shop, at the trinkets, and the flowers, the holiday decorations (christmas coming down and on sale!), beautiful and eccentric Mardi Gras and Valentine candelabras, lots of new baby gifts and stuff for celebrating moms and birthdays. There were beautiful loose flowers that you could select to take home, and from the looks of their photo books you could thumb through, they’ve got a large selection of bouquets and arrangements to choose from. Dale and I chatted a lot about weddings, and the use of Pinterest, so he seemed super knowledgable about current trends in the floral world. He also let me know that they deliver over to the whole mid cities area, including Southlake, Grapevie and Colleyville. I came home with a ceramic cross, with a bible verse quote for my Mom to say thanks for watching my girls that day. I paid around fifteen dollars for it, just as I would at Hallmark or so… perhaps even a little less!
I am not in the market for floral arrangements often, but I will definitely use this shop if I ever am. And the next time i’m off Camp Bowie, i’m going to swing by to pick up a stem or two and chat with Dale! Because who doesn’t love fresh flowers, good conversation and a smile?

I cant say enough about Sally’s. I needed some flowers for a Memorial Service of a young man that died in a tragic way. I really didn’t know what I needed had been turned away from several other florists along Camp Bowie and walked into Sally’s. Along came Dale. I told him my story what I was kind of looking for and he just took over. I received 3 large beautiful arrangements on silver pedestal’s that were absolutely gorgeous! Just beautiful. You could see the happiness of the mother of the young man. Needless to say, Dale added a bit of beauty to this event. I cant thank him enough and I will never shop for flowers any place else. Thanks Dale and thanks Sally’s.

I called them at 9 this morning and placed a delivery for a «compact» bouquet in a vase for my sister’s birthday to be delivered to her work. They delivered within 90 minutes and the delivery fee was only $ 10! They were beautiful and even spelled her name right which means they listened! (Which is a very hard feat. Her name is spelled weird. Idk why my mom decided to spells Courteney with two e’s. I mean… It should be Courtney. But, whatever.)
Anyway! Will definitely use this place again!

Sally’s is a great little local place to get your flower fix! They have all kinds of little trinkets and extra non flowered items to covet as well. I have never used them for a event, but I do like to pop in to get bouquets for around the house. Shop local!

I called at the last minute needing a box of rose petals and they were perfect to have them ready in less than 10 minutes by the time I got there. I will definitely call this place again for a special occasion

This place is terrible. Sure, funerals and weddings are the big moneymakers, but wouldnt you want to make a customer for life who does regular purchases? It appears not, walked in because they are convenient towhere i live. The hens in there started circling me like vultures from the minute i walked in. Sold e their od scraps for a rip off ridiculous price. I bought a bouquet for a fifth of the price at a grocer the next day and it lasted far longer. Avoid at all costs!

I went to Sally’s Flower Shoppe to get the flowers for our wedding. I knew them by reputation and decided to give them a try. They are in a cute pink stucco building «on the bricks» on Camp Bowie Blvd.
The shop is small, but packed full of flowers and gifts! Their prices are comparable to other flower shops. I made and appointment and met with someone to go over everything. I liked that they asked me my price range and were able to show me flowers for my entire wedding that still met my budget.
I sent some family members to go pick up the flowers the morning of our wedding and everything was boxed up and ready to go on time. They also offer delivery.
I will go with Sally’s again in the future. They are a wonderful local small business!
