History
Established in 2011.
I am a small business owner, writer and designer with a diverse professional and educational background, with expertise across a variety of fields. I established Professionalize Me in 2011 after my father, a VP of a major NYC advertising company, was laid off during an economic recession. He lost everything and after a couple of months of looking for work he was unable to afford a professional resume service. Resume services were asking hundreds of dollars for their services. I couldn’t believe it! The people who were most in need of employment (and therefore resumes) were unable to afford one. That’s when Professionalize Me was born. I decided to use my skills as a professional writer and designer and give back to the community. There are millions of hard-working, qualified professionals in search of work who haven’t been given the chance they deserve because they don’t have the resume they deserve. I want to change that.
