They only have 4 seats in the entire store. Wanted to sit and enjoy my latte but there wasn’t room for me :-/

As of the moment I write this, there are 49 Paciugo locations in the United States. That’s 49 opportunities spread across 17 states, to press your lips into this seductively good sweet stuff. Forty-nine chances to lick those luscious flavors, savor that creamy texture, and wrap your whole self up in those titillating tastes. Let’s break down the four-flavor cup I just inhaled: Panna Cotta Wedding cake flavor as they say. I definitely saw now reason that this man and that flavor should not be together, so I held my peace and also my spoon, shoveled in the cake like a newlywed, and thought how simple yet delightful I felt after feeding on the first flavor. Rocky Road Ooh, a little dark, a little rugged, full of desire and a chocolate flavor that gets down to business. Sometimes you gotta get a little bit rocky. Dark Cherry Swirl Oh, the complexity here. The emotion, the color, and the heart. All heart, really. Chunks of dark cherry, hand-swirled. And so sexy. So very, very sexxxxxy in the case, it’s probably the first thing you notice. Not too fruity and prissy, this is just the right level of seductress. Carrot Cake This is the thing that will have me thinking for a while. Such an intelligent flavor. The smart choice. Such a grownup flavor in such a lively and fun delivery method(via ice cream, after all). I swear I could taste both the cake and the cream cheese frosting. I’ve had some good gelato in my day, and this stuff will be in my head for a long time. I’m staying but a block away, so I hope it will be in my mouth again soon. The only bummer is that I actually live so far away… but for gelato like that, you find a way.

Really good gelato. The cookies & cream and cinnamon were delicious! Would have been nice to have had some more seating inside.

I stopped into this quaint gelato shop while walking around Sundance Square and Downtown Fort Worth. I didn’t plan on stopping into Paciugo’s, but all of the gelato looked really good. I had the Tres Leches gelato and it was great. It was by far the best gelato I have had. The staff was very friendly and I would definitely come back.

This is a very small Paciugo location, just a few blocks down from Sundance Square. Nobody does gelato like Paciugo, and this location is no different. It’s quality gelato served up by friendly staff. But it feels like these little shops are popping up everywhere, so I can afford to be picky, and this particular location isn’t set up very well in my opinion. There was a party of five in front of us in line, but unlike other Paciugo locations there was no specified«queuing» area, so people just kind of crowded forward toward the case and ordered whenever they caught the attention of the staff. It felt like chaos, and that mixed with the oddly stuffy heat(I assume the freezers were working full blast to keep the gelato cold, and therefore blasting hot air into the shop) meant we were in a hurry to leave with our cones. There was only one table in the place, anyway, so we wouldn’t have been able to stay. Like I said, Paciugo is great gelato(try the Texas Pecan Sea Salt Caramel, if they have it, and definitely get one of their affogatos if you’re an espresso fan) so it gets at least four stars from me, but be prepared to deal with a little cramped space and take your gelato to go.

This place was VERY busy; however, I didn’t mind standing in line for what felt like 30 minutes. The toasted coconut was delicous but the weather made it melt quickly. The pistachio almond was okay. The boyfriend said it tasted like medicine. If you’re in the area, get a waffle cone and walk to Sundance square.

We loved it. The little samples were very helpful in deciding among so many good choices. Very nice staff, clean, overall a very good experience. I got the smallest size they offered with two kinds of gelato. It was plenty for me.

Not my kinda place. I like just regular, plain-Jane, ice cream. With that being said, everyone else really enjoyed their ice creams. It is a place we seem to always visit when we come to Sundance Square.

This location is so adorable and vintage looking, perfect for downtown Ft Worth area! They let us try about 3 – 4 samples before I decided on what I wanted. The lady offered me a sample of sea salt caramel, which I had never tried before or heard of and it was good! I ended up getting that, red velvet, chocolate chocolate chip, and coffee. I always forget how sweet the gelato is here though and I could not finish this all even sharing with someone else! Great location!

By the time Mr. B and I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon, the gelatos were almost all gone. There were but 10 or so flavors left. We were greeted by an impassive young man who looked bored out of this mind working there. Then this strong sulfuric smell hit us. Something in the store smelled really bad. We grabbed our roasted banana and vanilla gelatos to-go and enjoyed our icecreams on the bench outside where the weather was perfect. It was also the perfect spot to people watch.

No coffee No bisquotties Bitter espresso Overwhelmed employee Smelly place Still very good gelatoes but one of my favorite«coffee break» places just became below average. Others seemed to enjoy it, I was disappointed.

I can’t get over the texture of the gelato. It’s so perfectly smooth that I wonder if it shouldn’t be tested to see if maybe it could be used as a zero-friction coating or something. Nice flavor selection here, with a wide variety that should offer something for everyone. I especially liked the hazelnut mocha and the(believe it or not) roasted banana. There’s no indoor seating(a couple of chairs by what looks like a counter right next to the door doesn’t count), which was a bit odd.

While runnings errands downtown on a 100+ degree day and finding myself with a little extra time on my parking meter, I wandered around the corner to Paciugo to get scoop of gelato. It was mid-day when I was in there and totally empty, which was great because it is a pretty small store with only 1 inside table. They have several outside tables, but I didn’t want my gelato to melt before I could take a bite. I sampled a few flavors. The carrot cake was surprisingly delicious. And for some reason I passed up on one of my favorite flavors of all time, Amaretto with chocolate chip and ordered myself a small cup of sea salted caramel. Hubba hubba. I didn’t realize until after I ordered and sat down that I could have gotten up to 3 flavors in my small cup. Fortunately I was happy with my choice, but plan to mix in a few flavors next time.

Having just gotten back from Italy, I think I can be a fair judge of gelato. Well, this place rocks. Creamy and delicious. The flavor selection reminds me of Italian gelato shops. It’s right in the heart of Ft Worth and on a hot nite– after dinner– this is just the spot. The staff is friendly and you’ll walk out with a smile on your face the moment you take a spoonful of their gelato. Trust me.

walking around downtown fort worth in Texas heat can be exhausting… so we stopped in for some gelato to cool off. Gelato is Italian ice cream. It’s less sweeter than ice cream and I dont think there’s milk in there. Anyway, I wish they had chairs and tables inside so I can eat and enjoy my gelato in air conditioning! the heat melted my gelato too fast so I couldnt finish my bowl of ice cream fast enough. Had to throw it away…
