Like this new place! Very nice and helpful staff. In addition to the shopping side they have a lot of cute stuff! They measure your items and weigh so make sure you know what you are doing if you are an Ebayer. They also have a rewards program which is awesome.

I have to say, that when this shipping store opened it was wonderful! Made shipping packages so easy.
I ship packages every two weeks. The people at the store have gotten progressively unfriendly. I usually bring my own boxes, but in the occasion I didn’t they refused to let me use free USPS priority mail boxes and envelopes.
They have also started charging way more for everything. When I first started going there, priority mail was only $ 2 more than what the post office charges. Now, the fees for shipping priority have increased to more than $ 4 per package.
The times that the postal carrier picks up varries. For the past year they were picking up after 4:00. Today I was informed by a very unfriendly girl that the postal carrier had already picked up and that my packages would go out tomorrow… when I asked what happened to the afternoon pickup, she just shrugged her shoulders and said, «well, they already picked up today. They usually come early.» Wrong, in my history with your store, I have always had my package picked up in the afternoon!
With so many other shipping options in my area, I will avoid Global Post at all costs!!!

Better than the post office because if you want to ship a package or envelope you can choose: DHL, FedEx, UPS, and USPS.
That’s a lot of options!
Plus the people who work here aren’t jaded like typical government workers.
It has a rustic chic feel because you can buy candies, rustic décor, hallmark cards, and even rent a PO box.
I’ve had reasonably smart people each time. Also, they have a Unilocal sticker on their door! Check-​in to get a FedEx offer! Cheers!

If you rarely go to the post office or if you’re a first timer, don’t go here. I was sending two items to two different addresses. The first package was fine. The second one, she seemed annoyed after she put it in the envelope (not completely closed yet) because I forgot to tell her the address was on the head of the letter. Don’t come off so annoyed. She also kept cutting me off with «zip code?» when I was telling her the cities they were heading to. She seemed rushed also, even though I was the only one in there. I’ll avoid putting the clerks full name because I’m not that rude, but it started with a B. So, thank you B for the sorry first time visit. I’m giving you 3 stars for getting the job done anyway.

Wonderful store, service and employees! Will definitely be back! LOVE having the convenience of a pack and ship that has a gift shop inside! One stop shopping doesn’t get any better than this!

Wonderful, friendly and quick service. I love that this is so close to my home, located conveniently in the Alliance Town Center. The location and store size makes it easy to get in and out. They a have an adorable selection of last minute gifts. Other services offered are notary, copies, faxing, and a variety of office supplies are on hand. Highly recommend!!!

This place was so nice and convenient. The staff was so helpful and friendly. I loved the little cute gifts in the store as well. The prices were really reasonable too, and they made a box espically for gift that I was sending to a friend! Since it was odd shape. Also, they give really good insurance and help on tracking, which is so nice since tracking on ups and usps stores/​websites are a pain. If you need to buy or shio anything, go here!!!

Fast and friendly service. Great location. I like all the knick knacks they carry. Will come back anytime I’m in the area.

I’m a little confused by the reviews posted so far. I feel people have a lot of misconceptions when it comes to shipping and its cost to do so. Packing and having something protected actually costs money (wow shocking!). The $ 1 /​piece of tape review is crazy, and while I also had something packaged and shipped I discovered that it was only $ 1 to tape my entire box, not per each piece of tape. This leads me to believe that the person did not understand what she was paying for.
Now, I also understood that I had to pay for peanuts and bubble wrap since I brought nothing with me, but my item, which was decent size. This was all reasonably priced as well, and expected.
The store is very convenient and super cute inside. It was refreshing to go somewhere other than USPS or UPS where you just wait in a huge line for a grumpy customer service rep to irritatingly help me. Instead, at Global Post I was greeted by a very friendly welcome with great customer service.
I was quickly helped as soon as I arrived, and was pleasantly surprised by the great small gifts also available for sale. I was able to peruse the store while my box was packaged, and I ended up purchasing a candle that is also sold at Anthropologie, but at a great discount compared to Anthropologie’s price! This definitely made my day, since its one of my favorite candles! After purchasing that and paying a great price for shipping my item, I left feeling very satisfied.
I will absolutely be returning here, as its amazingly more convenient and friendlier than the major shipping chains (ups, us postal service etc.). Although, since I don’t ship too often I will most likely be returning for the candles and other cute items. :-)

I came in to quickly scan and email a document to myself… I would’ve done this at home but my scanner is broken & I needed to get this out on a Saturday. First and foremost this place is super overpriced! they actually wanted to charge me close to $ 2 per page to scan something and email it to myself. The customer service rep didn’t even know how to work the scanner! When I asked why they charge so much, she said «that’s what they charge the owner»…um, false. I have 2 leased copiers at work and work with small business owners on a daily basis… if that’s what they’re charging the owner, they’re gettin ripped off too! After seeing the Customer service rep fumble around, I decided to take my business else where. Normally I’m all for supporting small businesses, but don’t screw your customers over.

Major rip off. $ 1 for each piece of tape?
We just paid $ 11 to ship a PREPAID fedex package!
We could have bought all of the supplies for less than that but the girl tacked on all the extra fees after everything was packed.
She seemed pretty clueless so it wasn’t worth arguing.
