Built in 1920 this property became Filthy McNasty’s in 1978 at the time the Fort Worth Historical District Incorporated and is located in the heart of the Stockyards on West Exchange Avenue one block West of North Main Street.

Are entire focus is hosting live music and we take pride in doing it without a cover charge so you can check out any given band on any night to see if its what you’er looking for without spending a penny. (Some charity benefits may charge a cover to raise money for the benefit) We are a 21+ age establishment.

Fun little bar in the heart of the stockyards!
The only beer they have on tap is PBR which some people might find inconvenient but I find amazingly Texan!
A lot of live music plays here. We went on a Saturday afternoon and they had only a few tvs to watch football but the live music was a great addition!
They also have a pool table and a good sized dance floor. I can see why this place would be fun at night!

This place was dirty and the only visible staff member was rude!
We were the only ones in the bar, it was around 4pm, and we were visiting from out of town. I can only imagine that it is a tourist bar, so being rude to people ready to take shots and drink seems dumb. The bartender was more interested in dumping out the water in my hydro flask (it was 95 degrees outside and I can’t have water?!) than serving my drinks. He only cared about the football game on TV and it took an older gentleman (possibly an owner) to point to me as I was waiting for him to turn around and acknowledge me.
There were dirty plastic containers all over the bar, the restrooms were disgusting, only pbr on draft, and a jerk of a staff member. I would never come back and would steer anyone that is looking for quality draft beer, customer service, and a pleasent place to hang out to go elsewhere! There is no music playing and nothing that made me want to sit down and stay. Maybe the night life is a better scene but I can’t imagine how?

In town from Chicago and randomly stumbled across this gem trying to go to Billy Bobs. Drinks are cheap, no cover, typical dive with live music but it was exactly what we all needed. Creative bar name with no explanation needed haha… good time!

Great place to catch a live band or acoustic show. Drop in on a Sunday at any time and see someone play. Great prices and awesome staff. Always a good time.

Another great place in the Stockyards. It’s right off one of the main drags so it’s easy to find. Cheap beer prices and a stage make this place even more enticing. There are a couple of pool tables so if you’re feeling a more laid back night rack up a game and have at it. People watching is great here too so enjoy!

This is what I like about the Stockyards! No Covery charge, great drink specials, and live music!
Although the bar is tight, and you have to make friends to get a drink order in… the bartenders are pretty quick, and will take good care of you!
There’s room enough for dancing, and there’s a few pool tables at the back!
Depending on the band or the night, this can be one of the best places in the Stockyards to spend your evening!

Favorite place to hit when at the stockyards! No cover charge and always great drink specials! They typically have good live music and a friendly staff who are ready to serve. It’s not a huge place but it still offers two pool tables off to the side in it’s own little area in case you want a bit of separation from the rest of the crowd. Come give it a chance and you won’t be disappointed!

Mrs. B and I recently headed down to Filthy’s to donate to the Toys for Tots drive and catch some live music. There were a bunch of folks there who were genuinely excited that we brought some donations, and we got up-​close and personal with some really excellent local musicians. The interior looks fairly recently remodeled, and it was a really neat place to be a small venue in the Stockyards. We will probably get back there soon to catch more live music!

We had every intention to go to Billy Bob’s on New Year’s Eve. But when we arrived we were informed that we had to have tickets to get in, and although it was only 9:30 PM they were already sold out. We ended up at Filthy McNasty’s after we found their name listed as being a saloon close by.
A tiny bit of backstory. A very close friend of mine, whom he and I call each other as a nickname, McNasty. (Long story.) So it should go without saying that I felt compelled to visit this very saloon.
Two live bands played as well as two full bars and two pool tables. But don’t get me wrong! This hotspot is a small cozy joint. I liked it.

In the words of Toby Keith… I love this bar. From the first time I ever stepped in the place I felt like I was with a group of friends. John and Zane have the front bar blowing up all the time. Mallory’s shot are the best hands down. Its a great place to unwind and have a great time with friends.
