Enclave at City View

I live here and I really like it. My apartment is large and not high priced. It is clean and the new people in the office are very responsive.

RUN! RUN real fast from Enclave at Cityview. I am going to make it my personal mission in life to bring this place down. I am considering quitting my job and taking on the task full-​time. Why do I HATE this place so much? Read on my beautiful people, READ. ON.
Roaches
FROM THE WINDOOOWS TO THE WALLS! When I moved in, my kitchen was infested with roaches. Crawling on the floor. Falling out of cabinets. Moon walking across my my ceiling. Not only did I refuse to go in the kitchen, I refused to move in my furniture and personal belongings. I am a neat freak and I’ll be damn in I’m going to have roaches crawling up and through my couches. I will say the management was quick to ATTEMPT to address the issue. First, they foolishly tried to use a store bought fogger. The roaches just laughed at it and kept on about their business. Then they had to call the exterminator to come out TWICE before they were finally completely gone.
Water
The main reason I am up writing this review is because there is a water outage which means I am likely not going to work tomorrow because there will no water for me to brush my teeth or shower. Did I mention this is the second one since I’ve lived here? When I first moved in, the water did not get hot. Luke warm at best.
Dog Poo
It’s everywhere.
Maintenance/​Community Up Keep
The grass will grow up to my knees. The dumpsters are ALWAYS overflowing. It’s almost July and the pool is still green and looks like s**t. For some reason there’s an entrance gate that is NEVER closed. I stopped carrying around the gate card.
Apartments
Everything is cheap. The walls. The drawers. The carpet. Feels like walking on cement. I have water stains on my ceiling.
Fire Extinguisher
Random Complaint. There is no fire extinguisher or smoke alarm in the kitchen. Just an FYI for those who value the safety of their loved ones…
F**king Ducks
Yes ducks. I hate those ducks. They flock by the front entrance because they hop the fence by the lake. They waddle out to the parking lot and will sit there thinking their duck thoughts, making you late for work. And they must be deaf because they don’t move when you honk. And they poo on the side walk.

Save yourself a headache and pay $ 50 or $ 100 more to stay around the corner at one of the nicer communities. This place was my only option due to my small move in window. SMH. I have several videos and photos (especially of the roaches) that I will share at a later time when I will be post a follow up reviews once I move out in October. Stay tuned…

I’m so glad I moved out of this place… The staff in the office were rude for the most part. The only nice and helpful person was Michael. He was cool. Ashland, or whatever her name was, was so rude. I always hated dealing with her. I’ve even seen her be rude to potential tenants. I wanted to tell him Run! Don’t walk! Run away from here as quickly as you can and don’t look back! Hopefully he got something better than enclave. Anyways, so our mailboxes were broken into and it took about 2 ½ months for them to fix it. We had to go to the post office to pick up our mail. We were lucky if we made it there on time to get our mail every week. So when they finally fixed our mailbox we asked 3 times for a 2^nd mailbox key. I even went into the office to put in a mail order for a 2^nd key. They cancelled it! They cancelled it 3 times. I finally just got fed up. So we had share the mailbox key. Also, the pool never seemed like it was cleaned. It was like bug city lol. Very gross. The maintanence guy was cool. Always prompt and helpful. The gate was constantly broken, closed and open at random times, and its just absolutely useless. Especially because you can just walk into the place… So dumb lol. The water was constantly being shut off. We lived there for 14 months, and as we were moving out there was a sign on our door saying they were shutting off the building water for god knows how long lol. I was like well… at least were not affected anymore. The rent was too dang high for poor quality apartment we had. We were sick and tired of all the hidden add on fees they gave us. BTW they don’t tell you that when you sign up. We thought we were getting a good deal by leasing a 3^rd floor apartment. Don’t do it! Its not worth the money you save. Bringing groceries up is such a hassle. We couldn’t stand living there anymore, so we decided we’d rather live in a house in the ghetto than to live there anymore. There were so many people plastic music at the crack of dawn or middle of the night it was ridiculous. I could hear the people in their cars playing music all the time. I could hear every word the musician was saying. Which is pretty sad because I lived on the 3^rd floor. I hated that crap. I was so tired of being woken up at the crack of dawn by people blasting their music. Well, when I was moving out I met my new neighbor (finally! 3 different people lived in that apartment) and she told me she regrets ever signing a lease here. She told me that when she moved in the apartment was a disaster! The people next door who lived there before her faught constantly at like 2 am. The husband would bang on the door forever. It was so annoying. They would be fighting outside and being super loud. Well, she told me that her apartment was destroyed. The door didn’t work because the previous neighbor broke the door down. It was just sad. And I felt really bad for her. She said her lease wasn’t up for another few months. My fiancé and I resigned our lease but we paid it off so we didn’t have to live in that place anymore. The only cool thing was their abundance of stray cats in the parking lot. I had the pleasure of naming them and talking to them. Heck, I even did the apartment manager a favor and took one of them off their hands when I left that place. He’s a cute little black kitty we named Worf. We love him so much! He was the best thing to come out of that place. I’ve lived in worse apartments, but I don’t recommend this place. It may seem nice but its not.

im so sick of the sex noises from my upstairs neighbors, i might as well live at motel, the sex noises aand headboarding banging is so bad i rather hear gunshots, Dog poop everywhere dog poop in front of my balcony. two so call handy man didnt knock just came in unannounced put in ceiling fan, next day the light covering fall off ceiling fan. I can hear my neighbors upstairs having sex., the black maintence man is friendly but the other handy man are racist and will go to the office if you have company over in your apartment. beware of those two handy man they have as staff they will come in your apartment, hoping noone is there… the only company im allowed to have in my apartment is the ants and spiders, that enclave at cityview want evicted… dont judge the book by its cover these apartments looks nice outside, and duck pond.

Worst Apartment I have EVER lived in. PERIOD. The staff doesn’t give a F*@K about morals or ethics. They were always rude, they did NOT clean out the ventilation shafts before I moved in, a TEXAS SUMMER IS HOT, my electric bills were over $ 400.00 for 3 months, they FINALLY got someone to come out and clean them, and when they did, a HUGE DUST clot as big as a dead body came out!!! Also apartment kept flooding, but as the LAZY manager would always say when everything was messed up because their lazy behinds did not do the proper work to prepare a move in, «ITS OUT OF MY CONTROL!» What is in your control? You are the manager right? Never in my life have I been so insulted and uncomfortable living in anywhere in my life. I moved out immediately and have never been happier in my life! Oh yea, mice and cockroaches everywhere. Someone also got murdered here recently, which shows you the kind of people they cater too.

Today My Wife and I were apartment hunting and drove by this place and had to stop in. Wow I was impressed before I drove in. I think its fantastic that it has a stop light right at the entrance/​exit. Pizza Hut is right across the Street! Thumbs up for that! There is such a beautiful view right next to the complex. The pool is absolutely amazing! Out of the surrounding area I believe this will be the one we will move into!
