At Ron L. Baum, P.A., I am dedicated and work steadily for each of my clients. I personally handle all cases and strive to be accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

History

Established in 1982.

As a criminal attorney Mr. Baum has had extensive trial experience and earned 5 consecutive Hat Trick Awards from the BACDL (each separate award represented 3 consecutive felony jury trials, 15 total, with the Defendant being found not guilty on all counts in each case).

In 1990 Ronald Baum was appointed as a Traffic Magistrate for Broward County and was soon thereafter elevated to Administrative Magistrate. He retained that position until he resigned in 1998.

In 2000, Ronald Baum returned to his passion of training in mixed martial arts (muay thai, kenpo, kickboxing, and karate). He subsequently was awarded his black belt in April 2005 and continues to train on a regular basis.

Mr. Baum has been chosen by Legal Leaders as one of «South Florida’s Top Rated Lawyers».

Ronald Baum has consistently earned an «AV» rating from Martindale-​Hubbell National Law Directory. This is the highest rating awarded for legal ability and ethical standards.

Ronald Larry Baum was born in Baltimore, Md. in 1956 and earned his undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology from the University of Maryland. While attending college he was a regular member of the Dean’s List for academic achievement. He also participated in intramural sports and earned medals in swimming, diving, & wrestling. Toward the end of his collegiate career he got his first job as a private investigator working in the Md., D.C., and Va. area.

Ronald Baum went to law school at Nova University in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. While earning his law degree he excelled academically and earned three Book Awards (given out by the professor to the student who excelled highest in the class). While attending law school Mr. Baum also obtained his private pilot’s license and, in addition, was employed as a private investigator part-​time.

After graduating from law school Mr. Baum was admitted to practice law in Florida, Maryland, Washington D. C and the Federal Bar.
