Amenities are great. If you are looking for a first class apartment complex right by Las Olas Blvd, this is the best value for your rent money. If you are looking for culture and community, keep moving.

The office was contacted and you did nothing but lip service. Jodi from management was contacted and she did absolutely nothing except ignore calls and emails.
You do spend your time reviewing Unilocal and other social media vs helping the people who have asked for help.
Camden also runs contests for the tenants to provide positive reviews. Win an accent wall was one promo that was run.
Why don’t you address issues in the apartments vs. running sad promotions.

I recently accepted a new position in NYC which caused me to have to terminate my lease early. I contacted the management office to find out what the termination process entailed. Terrence Madison the Assistant Manager handled the entire process from start to finish. He was professional and instrumental in helping me secure my new apartment in NYC by providing the termination documents in a very timely manner. My entire experience at Camden Las Olas was truly positive. I loved living here and will miss the warm staff and warm weather!

Camden is an awesome environment and very fun place to live. If you like to have fun, socialize, hang out at the pool, BBQ and other activities, Camden is the spot for you! The people are great and the location is even better! If your interested in the Camden experience please go talk to Madison.

LOVE living at Camden Las Olas! Great amenities. They just put all new equipment in the 2 story gym. Best apartment gym I’ve seen! The staff is great. Understanding, knowledgeable and accommodating. Moving in was a nightmare due to our moving company but Madison went waaaay out of his way to help us and get us in to our apartment even though it was 7PM at night and the leasing office had closed. Definitely love living here!

In year two here. No complaints about the building or amenities. Cleaning crew can be slow to clean elevators and parking garage. Maintenance has been very fast to address requests made for inside unit. Can’t beat the location, that’s the real appeal of this place.
When dealing with the leasing office always ask for Jason. Jason is friendly, responsive and always helpful. He will return your calls and emails and does so with a positive and friendly demeanor.

We lived in Camden Los Olas for over 6 years. At first we thought it was great. When it was time to renew they raised our rent each year to an astronomical amount. We moved out for a year.
Then when we checked the rent again we got a much lower rate.
The building had gone way down hill! Just filthy!!!
The new unit had major mold problems!!! We know for fact that they had a mold issue coming from the storage units and was not removed correctly which spread the mold out to the floors and into the units!!!
Our AC UNIT WAS NEVER CLEANED!!!
My husband would constantly be sick when he was at home. He would leave on business trips and feel fine till he got home and within a few days would be sick again. It got to the point where we could not live there any longer due to the mold! Constant calls to the office and corporate with never a call back.
The exterior hall ways were so gross! Human feces in the hall!!! Piss everywhere !!!
And watch out for the maintenance worker !! Freaky perverts!!! Hate when they had to come fix one of the many things that broke in the apt.
People would throw cig down the trash shoots which would catch fire. Then the alarms would go off in the middle of the night with firemen banging on the doors and then have to run down the stairs and wait outside forever till it was all clear!
They do no back ground checks on who they rent to. So it’s a bunch of crazy kooks running around!
My husband got jumped by 3 young guys one night. Right in the parking garage and the night desk person was totally no help!!! Police came and took 2 away but the last one followed and harassed as all night.
Final straw was my husband was tired of constantly being sick. When we informed them that we were moving is when they finally wanted to do something!!! But it was a little to late!
We moved out before rent was do the next month cleaned apt to excellent condition. And in return we were charged 7 thousand dollars do to the mold in the building!!!
By the way my husband had not been sick a day since we left!!!
If you are considering renting here THINK AGAIN!
Also not a safe place for your kids who might be going to college in the area!!!

I’ve been here for about a month, and love it so far. I had read a number of reviews complaining about noise in the building, but I’ve barely heard a thing. I can barely even hear my roommate 15 feet away. The walls definitely keep sound out.
Camden is in the middle of EVERYTHING. About a half-​mile from both Las Olas and Himmarshee, so you’re close to all of the nightlife.
If I had a complaint, it’s that a couple appliances have already broken and required repairs. On the plus side, they’ve all been repaired within 36 hours of my requests.

My mother is a resident at the Camden Las Olas. Me and my sisters are visiting for the holidays. We love coming to visit our mother, not only to spend time together as a family, but because we truly enjoy all the Camden has to offer. The apartment is laid out in such a way that we can have personal time and also spend lots of time together. The kitchen is up to date, and the inclusive washer & dryer is the icing on the cake. The front desk staff is so friendly and welcoming. We love the gym and pool! We hardly leave when we are visiting because everything we need is here at the Camden. I recommend the Camden to anyone and everyone!

I lived in Camden for about a year. We moved in without looking at reviews which was a mistake. After moving in I read the reviews below about people breaking in. It was rather scary so I felt like I had to watch everywhere I walked. Jason was great and very helpful throughout our stay.
Reason for 2 stars:
They increased our price by about 30% which was unreasonable for a one bedroom apartment to be $ 2100+. The elevators, hallways, and garage elevator area always had dog pee and poop. This is mostly to blame the owners of those pets for not picking up after their pet (and I own a dog). Sometimes there would be vomit or poop in the garbage cans which made the hallway stink. Within 3 months of living in the building someone had punched a whole in the wall near the elevator which makes you wonder the quality of residents in the building. Elevators always smelled of illegal substances. Some residents were questionable. Oh and most importantly, six months in the building, I get my license plate of my car stolen. Though it was returned 3 days later, it made me feel UNSAFE, hence why I say the quality of the residents is questionable. There is a concierge that walks around the building at all hours of the night but they are no securities. One concierge gives attitude, always wears sunglasses, makes inappropriate jokes with the guests. If I am paying a good amount to live in a building that has a concierge for 24 hours, I’d expect them to be friendlier with guests since they are the first people any person sees and if a company is trying to sell something like apartment homes, they should guarantee that each person exhibits good customer service skills. They charge a $ 500 pet fee which I really don’t understand where that money goes because there are never any doggy bags and on the west side of the building someone destroyed the doggy bag and garbage station (again referring to the quality of the neighborhood/​residents). At the end of the day, I didn’t feel safe where I was living. You are basically just paying for location rather than a home.
Instead of increasing the prices and driving good residents out, they should try and retain those that there have been no complaints about. We honestly couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

Love this complex! Super secure and a great location! The building is clean and I have never had an issue with parking. The new guest parking procedure is kind of annoying but understandable.

I visited here and it is a really nice place. The pool is really nice and everyone is friendly here. The location is awesome, it is one block from YOLO and all the other nice restaurants and bars.
Downtown Fort Lauderdale is only a 5 min walk also. This is the nicest rental in downtown Fort Lauderdale.

I have been living in The Camden for almost 6 months and I love the building. The apartments are nice and spacious and most of them have granite. They continue to always try and make it nicer here and they made some huge improvements to the gym recently. The pool area is really nice and pretty spacious. They also have 2 really nice grills by the pool which is really convenient and a lot of people get together and BBQ very often.
Most of my neighbors are really nice and you get a hello and good morning every time you step in the elevator or walk by someone. If you are looking for a nice place to live in a perfect location near a lot of nice restaurants, bars and cool neighbors, then this is your spot! Totally worth every penny and very affordable for what you get!

Has a layout like a prison yard or Embassy Suites. Cheap construction and materials in the apartments and halls.
Who wants to live like that.

Lived over there almost a year. Poor management, so much noise from neighbors and from the tunnel and streets. Never clean elevators especially at night. You will regret.

As a last resort, I am posting my complaint. Maybe, just maybe you’ll actually respond to my endless attempts to get a service request completed before it hits week #2 of NO RESPONSE! Nov 1^st we completed the online service request for our leaking sink and freezer.
Originally the leak could have been considered minor but since it’s connected to both the food disposal and the dishwasher; the more time that goes by without being fixed the problem gets worse!
Last week I called multiple times but repeatedly got forwarded to the call center since no one from our «local» office would pick up the phone during «business hours». I’ve been told by the call center that they would send the «local» office emails to get the service completed and that I should try leaving a voicemail. Well, I did… Last week… during business hours and I’ve yet to receive a response.
Today, I tried calling again and after 10+ attempts; I got sick and tired of continuously being forwarded to the call center. It says that you are open today at 10AM but apparently unable to answer the phone or respond to voicemails?
I’ve already vocalized my complaint (s) and disappointment to the call center but I’ll repeat the shorten version to you…
My disgust with customer service and as a resident for over 5+ years at the Camden Las Olas Apartments has NOTHING to do with the amazing employees of the maintenance department. Riccardo and his team are truly remarkable but they have been mismanaged by your corporation. They have been given far too many tasks and responsibilities to be given a fair chance at completing service requests in a timely manner.
My disgust is with the management of this location as a whole… a resident should NEVER have to wait this long to get a service request completed. Plus this isn’t the first issue we’ve had a delay in response. Our dryer broke in October and it took over a week to get it fixed. It wasn’t because we were waiting for a part or anything; it was purely because no one responded to the request until after I received an email from management saying that the service request had been completed. When in actuality, no one had ever come to our apartment. I work from home so I know without a doubt that no one came to our apartment. Needless to say I was upset by this email and was fortunately able to get a hold of management to voice my concern. That incorrect email from corporate that triggered me to call (again) is the only reason why the dryer got fixed after one week.
FYI: The original small leak is now a health concern… Mold has started to grow and it’s your responsibility to provide basic resident needs of a working kitchen. PLEASE TAKE CARE OF THIS SERVICE REQUEST ASAP!!!

Industrial lobby, friendly workers, trendy gym– 3.5 stars (just because I cannot rate their rooms).
I came here for a party held in one of their meeting rooms, and at first glance, I thought the lobby felt a bit industrial. The walls are gray which give it an industrial feel. It could be more welcoming. The workers I met here though were very friendly, and they let my family and me park in the garage for free. I enjoyed their welcoming service.
From where the party was held, I could see the gym, and they seem to have good equipment– they could have had more equipment, but the equipment I saw I could not find anywhere else. For example, where can you find a rock wall that works like a treadmill? At this, Camden of course.
If I was ever moving to this area, I may consider moving here, but I cannot really give a testimonial for the amenities found in their rooms.
