I love jezebel! I’ve been shopping here for the last 12 years and it’s my favorite local shop. they carry such a huge array of unique merchandise you most likely wouldn’t find anywhere else. this is always my go to for everything from birthdays to shopping for myself. check it out, because there’s always something new and different to be found!

Probably the most authentic shop in the area… we found it by accident and were pleasantly surprised by the selection of gifts and fun things. We spent a lot of time looking and laughing — the store is a bit crammed with items, but that’s not such a bad thing. They also have an adorable dog, Loretta, who happily accepts any kind attention you give her. Highly recommend.

Honestly, I’m annoyed with this place. I’ve bought things here before. Hanging butterflies, cards and things, but how the people treat you is the worst. The attitudes of at least two of the women there today were horrible. The woman sitting at check out was nice enough and definitely answered questions I had.
However, I heard one of the elder women say to the young employee that she was to follow me around. As if I was going to steal anything! THE NERVE!
I will not be going there ever again and will definitely tell everyone I know not to go there, purely based on the attitudes and the treatment of the people working there.

Really enjoyed their Mexican tributes! They have a bunch of skulls candy trinkets and Frida Kahlo nic knacks which I was in love with and purchased much of. Cute gifts for friends/​family.

Jezebel is such a great little hidden gem, there is something for everyone and every occasion. The staff is extremely sweet! Always a fun shopping experience and can never leave empty handed. So many cute things, cards, accessories, and trinkets so just when you think you can’t find a good gift for someone, your prayers are answered.

Website says they’re open until 7, I drove 1.5 hours go get here in traffic from WPB… And no one is here and the store is closed. Needless to say, I’m irritated.

This is a one of a kind corky gift shop/​fun place to shop around located in the Gateway Plaza off of Sunrise! Once walking through the front door you will be inside a shop full of great ideas, silly gifts, and just about anything you think that would be unexpected!
The best part of this store is EVERY item has a price tag! It can be the most frustrating thing going into a store like this and not being able to find the price to only have to ask the clerk multiple times. Not here though and the customer service is always inviting and helpful!
The store itself is split into little sections– categories and is very organized. They have everything from candles, to gag gifts, as seen on TV, clothes, jewelry, beach décor/​bags/​items, cat and dog lovers section, odd kitchen items, holiday/​gift cards, baby section, beer and wine accessories, and much much more!
The prices are somewhat higher than expected on each item but unless you are ordering online, you won’t find many of the products they have in their store elsewhere. Also, it feels good to support a local business that has been there for over 20 years providing the best boutique items you can find!
So no matter if you are looking for a fun gift, just browsing, or searching for that perfect niche item you won’t be disappointed by your findings here! Such an enjoyable amusing store to walk around and see what the world has come to these days! :P

Tucked back in the Gateway Plaza, Jezebel is that place you go you know you want to spend some money on a bunch of things you don’t need.
First thing, remember to bring cash if you spend under 10 dollars.
Also, if you’re a larger person like me, be careful, there is so much stuff crammed into that store that you’re bound to knock something over.
This place is perfect for that friend of yours that may be tough to buy for. They have a lot of fun novelty gifts, many of which are LGBT theme. This place is stocked with tiki decorations for anyone with a great outdoor seating/​bar situation, and lots of greeting cards.
There is also an area with children’s toys and clothing too.
If you need a stocking stuffer or a gift for a coworker come here. The one downside is that things can get a little pricey for the type of gift you’re buying, but when in Rome…

I was a little disappointed… Where’d the fabulous array of vintage clothing go?!? This store used to have an immense amount of great vintage clothing finds. I recently went in there and was sad to see that there was only a handful I vintage goods.
The store now focuses on the eclectic gift/​card sort of thing now. If that is what you are looking for then this store has more than you could ever want.
This experience in the store was awkward and uncomfortable because the lady working didn’t greet or ask if we needed help while browsing (we were the only two people in the store!)

I love this store it has great gifts and can always find something for everyone.

Adorable store! This was exactly what I was looking for while visiting Fort Lauderdale — quirky shop, reminiscent of PaperSource. Got a tin cigar box to add to my collection — lil pricey but haven’t seen it anywhere else. I’d come back to check on new inventory.

I was just there browsing for a full 10 minutes and the woman working there wouldn’t acknowledge my presence, even after another customer left and I was the only one in the store, standing 4 feet away from her.
I saw the perfect bday gift for my friend but I will not patronize a store that doesn’t value my business enough to greet me.
I came straight from work in my suit, so it’s not like I looked like a window-​shopping bum. What reason could you possibly have not to greet a new customer?
What a shame. First and last time going there.

I’ve been coming to Jezebel for over 13 years now. I would go to their monthly raffles and parties, and always stop in to pick up a little something. I was a little sad when all of the Paul Frank merchandise was no longer carried as that was what I typically came in to buy. However as of late, I was EXTREMELY sad to see that all of the vintage clothing was being sold off and would no longer be carried whatsoever. I looked forward to hunting the racks for 50 to 100 year old treasures. I managed to snag a few things, but I’m still pretty bummed. I can understand that a consignment business does get difficult, but I do hope that maybe one day it will all return.
Regardless, Jezebel gets 5 stars from me because I love everything and everyone in it anyways!

I love Jezebel. I am not in the area often as I am from CT but whenever I do come down to the Ft Lauderdale area my niece and I always find our way there. Very cute shop. A little pricey. But what’s pricey to me may not be to you. Lots of different, unique items you probably won’t find anywhere else. Great for finding the perfect card, whether funny, sincere, loving, offensive. Also has great perfumes. They smell amazing! Lots of cool items. It’s worth checking out if you are nearby. You can find something for anyone.

Awesome store with lots of eclectic and vintage items. I bought a really cool octopus Christmas ornament and just love it. So many things, from vintage clothing to retro jewelry. Plus lots of cool stationary and things for you home. There is so much packed into this store. It is a must see.

Very cute store with fun gifts and cards. It was my guy’s birthday while we were on vacation, so I got him a cute funny card to go with my present.
My friend and I, really enjoyed reading all the cards and looking at the quirky gifts. She got a couple cute gifts for her nieces and nephews. It was a total win and fun places to browse.

To touch upon the post below about not having a return policy, I can understand and relate. I was recently there and had a few small items in hand to purchase. I literally was in their on a whim while my girlfriend was parking for a movie. I had about 3 minutes to shop. I have purchased things from Jezebel in the past and never realized that there was a credit card minimum.
This time, I was turned away because my purchase didn’t exceed their credit card limit. Ok, fine. I don’t even know if there was a sign stating this, it doesn’t matter. The bottom line is that they lost a sale (and maybe even a customer because the clerk was SO unfriendly and arrogant about it.)

Shop is an amazing collection of retail kitchy knick knacks, vintage clothing and vintage and new jewelry.
The reason for my low star review is that they have a NO return policy. I was interested in several things for a friend’s birthday but was told that there are absolutely no returns. I can understand on vintage clothing but on the jewelry and new items, that’s kind of unheard of. Not even store credit.
I had a $ 50+ bracelet in my hand but didn’t buy it because it was for a gift and was not sure that my friend would like it. It’s a shame because I really liked the piece and would have purchased it if I knew my friend could exchange it for something else. I left empty handed.

Jezebel, when you enter it from the Gateway Mall, turns out to be a lot bigger than you’d think. The store runs all the way through to the next street.
The store is jammed packed with all sorts of little novelty items, gift thingies, vintage clothing (female, but if happen to be gay, a nice place to get a vintage bonnet for the Wilton Manors Easter Parade… wink), but the most outstanding feature to me is their card selection. Jezebel has all sorts of cards, cards for every occasion and cards you simply won’t find elsewhere. So for whatever occasion, if you don’t want to come off as a Target or Walmart shopping cheapo, I’d highly recommend Jezebel for your card shopping.
It’s also a great place to shop for novelty items which are ideal for those joke type of office parties where the rule dictates «No gift over $ 5.00,» that are sort of put into a pot and everybody just grabs one.
The prices hit me as being a little stiff, but certainly not high end or totally out of whack for items not found elsewhere.
And though I thought that the owner was rather cold, even somewhat rude to some other customers, I’ll just assume that she may have had every reason to be. Though it kind of unnerved me, she was pleasant and friendly enough with me; but fortunately enough, most people are.
