Went with the wife for a late dinner and was pleasantly surprised by the food and ambiance. I had the veal and she the butternut ravioli. Both great but the ravioli was delightful. Both good portions, enough to take home. For dessert we ordered the white chocolate soufflé. It had a hint of orange liqueur and was straight delicious. Not a place if you’re looking for frills, just a quaint honest place with good food. Definitely in our regular rotation when in town.

My husband and I so enjoyed our evening, Tuesday January 19th, at Café Primavera. It is easily accessible from Commercial Blvd, good parking, and then you enter this delightful restaurant space with yummy smells coming from the kitchen… you feel right at home. Immediately the bread is warmed for you(nice, hard-crust) and presented with a delicious pesto sauce for dipping. We tried a number of the appetizers with my favorite the strudel(perfect pastry) and my husband’s the Portobello mushroom. Our mains: veal scallopini(perfect at ¼ inch thickness in a lemon-butter sauce) and a bone-in veal chop(cooked to perfection as my husband requested, medium rare). Each entrée was served with nicely prepared vegetables and pasta or potatoes. We didn’t have room for desert but of course we had to try… banana with chocolate in a light pastry… yum! We had such a wonderful time that we are returning on Monday, the 25th and bringing friends. We encourage you to do likewise!
