Love the prices on their beers, you can get a Blue Moon for $ 3 which can be rare. A lot of draft beer can be pricey at other bars and restaurants. I also love their sandwiches, I highly recommend the Pleather Jacket. I have never had any issues with their staff, they have always been willing to take my order and they are pleasant to talk to.

Would be a 4 star if their customer service was better. better. As we sat eating our food our waitress/bartender was on her phone while we had no drinks. She forgot to make sure we were ok. Food was actually pretty good not a extensive menu but not expected from a deli/tavern. Beer selection is pretty impressive. Environment was ok and daily specials were a pleasant surprise.

The staff and bouncer were extremely disrespectful. Horrible customer service. Will not be back

This place is largely taken over and appeals to undergrads, with that said, if you are looking for a decently priced and decent beer then look no further. The service was fine. It was pretty loud.

LISTENUP! Had another horrible experience at Road34. The infamous bouncer wouldn’t let a service dog in although there was one in already without having papers. He also harassed my friend while waiting outside on the sidewalk. He stated that she cannot talk to us because we could pass a drink over the fence to a checked ‘21’ year old. She is 26 by the way. Then told her to not loiter, and asked us to move a table away from the fence. After bringing in all of my not finished food and beer because I was infuriated, the owner bought my food and drink without my permission. I continuously requested to pay for my bill and leave. He disregarded my wishes and told me the bouncer was only doing his job so I should leave happy. I left without paying and not happy at all. I wanted to pay my tab and leave, he took that into his hands and I left unhappy. Once again at road34 it’s not up to the consumer it’s up to the poor management and horrible ‘bouncer’.

Terrible staff who discriminate against patrons whom they get drunk and accuse of being drunk and then kick out said patrons, ignoring underage girls literally falling to the floor who were served alcohol illegally. Empowering idiots does not create a secure friendly environment and does not create a good example of a well run bar. Train your staff better and don’t serve underage kids.

You want a cheap bar with a fun college atmosphere? Come here. There is $ 1 beer night, which can get crowded. A normal night is $ 2 – 6 per beer. The outside seating at unique wood picnic tables is my favorite spot, especially in the summer. They have a bunch of tvs inside and it usually a good spot to watch a sports game. The bartenders don’t seem to have a welcoming attitude. They don’t really talk or interact much in the times I have been. That careless vibe is a bit off putting for me.

First things first, could the bouncers be any worse? I am pretty sure I barely got in with MYID. They have been huge d***s since I started going there over 7 years ago. Therefore, I only gave them one star. Other than the horrendous bouncers that take their job WAY to seriously, the patios are great. The atmosphere is fun(minus that stool by the entrance that still thinks you probably shouldn’t be there).

Didn’t have as great of a beer selection as I would’ve expected. They had a decent amount on tap but not a ton of variety. Mostly IPAs and lagers from what I remember. Not a lot of brown ales. I don’t think I saw a single porter. The other negative is the service is not the friendliest. They’re kinda just like«what do you want?» with a stone face. Probably hardened by a bunch of college students being idiots there. But overall it’s still a fun vibe. They’ve opened it up since I last came two years ago with more inside space and more patio space. And another upside is they have cheap pints.

Serious employee and management problems: I was assaulted by an employee of Road 34 Monday, June 22, 2015 at about 7:50pm. I was leaving and after taking about 10 steps out the door I was aggressively grabbed on the shoulder and pulled around to face the door person who then punched the clear plastic water cup out of my hand and made what I’d call a «c’mon, let’s fight» gesture with his body language. He stated that I «should obey him» and that«no liquid leaves the bar.» He had some serious anger and hatred in his eyes. The description of the guy is a 6′ tall light skin black man with an afro. He clearly has anger problems and shouldn’t be tending to a bar or checking IDs or have contact with customers. After an email exchange with one of the owners I have no faith in this place. He actually dismissed my concerns as a «learning experience» for his employee.(Which is patently insane.) If unprovoked violence against the customers is acceptable then how’s the health code compliance? If you’re assaulted by an employee at Road 34 then call the police and file a report. Don’t think that management will take care of it. They won’t.

I find it interesting that Road 34’s sister establishment, The Bar, is not listed on Unilocal.Yes they have video games, and yes their bouncer started my experience by saying«fuck you,» when I tried to tell him I’d just walked outside to grab my friend. Cool layout, but it’s obvious they’re using The Bar to train inexperienced door guys, which is a shame.

We love love the food here! Unfortunately the one bouncer is on an unnecessary power trip. The bartenders are always great but there have been two occasions now where one bouncer in particular givesus a hard time. We are a married couple in our 30s dude! We’re not going to cause trouble or threaten anyone in the bar. You’re a day bouncer. At a bar. Ya don’t need a flashlight. Nerd.

This place is REALLY hipster, so much so that I felt weird walking in. The place is grimy and there’s no way I would sit on the couches they have. The tables are usually soaking wet, so the few times I went we would stand. I once went for a concert and the best place for us to hear the music and not be blasted with sound was outside the bar. Drinks are priced moderately, but I really only went for the beer.

Sad to say we won’t be returning. Good prices for craft beers but awful staff. Last night after having dinner and a few beers my friends and I were leaving Road 34 ad while standing outside saying our goodbyes, were approached by the bouncer. My female friend was wearing a sweatshirt and without saying a word, the bouncer came up and began to pat down her midsection. After putting hands on her he explained he was checking to see if she’s stolen a pint glass. My friends and I all work in the service industry… No we didn’t steal your pint glass. Also… Since when is that protocol? Oh. It’s not. After offending and violating one girl, the bouncer went in only to come back 2 minutes later and ask my other friend to ‘shake out her jacket’ that she was holding. Again… Nothing was in it. This experience left a bad taste in our mouths so I went back today to speak with the manager. I was in luck. I got the owner. He was a very nice guy and said they were in the wrong in our situation, yet continued I defend his employee and explain that a lot of pint glasses go missing. Sorry people steal, but that doesn’t give any employee the right to walk up and touch a guest with no notice. The owner was a nice guy but his staff is out of line. We experienced inappropriate behavior from a staff member and the owner defended the behavior. I know the restaurant and bike shop will continue to thrive, but with so many great bars in Fort Collins there’s no reason to put up with stuff like this.

On one hand, I like the decent selection of taps at the lowest prices I can find. Classic dive bar. Like the tie-in with the bike shop next door. Personally, it’s a bit too hipster-y for me, but for those that enjoy the hipster crowd, this is a good option to drink cheap. Probably the cheapest place to drink in the Campus West area.

Went there for lunch and thought I would share my experience… Walked in and was greeted from 20 feet away with a body attitude that we better come up to the bar to get our menus, we did and sat down. About 5 – 6 minutes later it was time to order, no welcome or drink order yet by the way. A few minutes later it became clear that if we wanted lunch we needed to walk up to the bar to order, and to make our drink order. We didn’t dare walk away after our order knowing damn well the bartender/server wasn’t going to come out from behind the bar to bring them to our table. After sitting back down with our drinks I heard a lot of microwave sounds which concerned me but the food was actually decent. Waiting for our food I told my friends that if he set my food at the bar and made me come up to get it I was going to walk out. Thankfully he decided to get off his perch and bring us our food. Time for a drink re-fill, you guessed it… walk yourself up to the bar and get a re-fill yourself. Another 4 top came in as we were eating and they had the same experience so not sure if this is their typical setup or not but it wasn’t for me. Time to pay, YEP… again no check brought to the table had to ask for it at the bar again and pay there too. I think it would be a fun place to have a drink or 2 but the staff are certainly not there to help out. Better options in Campus West for sure…

Loud bar, but wasn’t super packed the night I was there. They have a lot of beers that you’d expect to see and stuff that you can find locally as well. Fort Collins Brewery stuff makes its way across town pretty easily from what I can see. Anyways, nice foosball table here, wacky décor in the interior, and a clean men’s room. That’s about all I can ask for nowadays.

The situation I am about to explain makes me wish more people would write reviews on Unilocal.I was riding to work on my bike and got a flat tire. So I stopped by Road 34 to get it replaced. I waited while the employees(combined 45 iq) replaced my tube. When I paid I rode away and upon trying to stop tried to break. Well, the employees at Road 34 forgot to reattach my brakes. So I walked the bike back four blocks and the employees«fixed» the breaks By fixed, I mean that they made it so the wheel wouldn’t even move. The employees monkeyed around with it for a while and said, «it only rubs a little now, so you’re good to go.» Sure I was. Now late for work I left and decided to come back the next day for a full tune up. The next day I told the employees that I wanted a full tune up and my rear brake pads. The employee(a third genius) said, «the pads will be $ 10 extra, and it should be ready Saturday, but we’ll call you.» Saturday came and went, Sunday came and went, and finally on Monday I went in to the shop and asked for my bike. The employee said, «oh, it’s been waiting for you since Saturday.» Well, I was never called. When I picked it up, the $ 10 brake pads became $ 15 dollar brake pads. I asked the employee about this and he said, «I don’t know what to say, they are $ 15.» To top it off, my bike now makes a rubbing sound any time I go over 5MPH. STAYAWAY!
