The original Monya & Misha was the best before they sold the shop to the new people. Walked in after the store was sold immediately everything changed for the worse. The service was horrible and the people who worked there were rude. Will not be coming back.

Nice Russian deli with lots of prepared foods – sometimes seasonal, i.e. summer borscht in summer. Also freshly baked pastries. Very helpful people behind the counters(there are counters on both sides of the place). If you don’t speak Russian, don’t feel intimidated because most of the employees also speak English.

Decent little Russian store where you can get all your basic necessities, from kalbaska to sirki to all those other yummy things. Decent prices, but just doesn’t compare to Brighton Beach. Of course, for that, you’d actually have to go to Brighton, which is part of M&M’s allure. Also, some great restaurants nearby, and a decent Russian video/music store.
