It’s becoming so rare that the folks you deal with at any establishment are anything more than minimum wage counter people. Not the case here. Christina and Sean were both professional and knowledgeable. They gave my wife a quote and a commitment on the time it would take to complete fixing the screen on our iPad 2, and both were rock solid.
Thanks so much for a great experience and for renewing my faith in the retail/​consumer encounter.

My Iphone5c screen cracked VERY badly so At&t sent me to them. The price to fix it was $ 120 and the woman there did it for $ 100 in only 20 minutes. They were VERY nice, made me laugh, and charged me way less than what everyone else wanted to charge me. I would definitely do business with them again and would send my friends there.

I went here to repair my iPhone screen. I called before I went, just to make sure how long it would take. They promised me it would be done in 20 – 40 mins. The only reason I came here just because I was in Queens and there was no Apple store around. I was at work and needed it be done asap.
First I was told 20 minutes, and then another 40 minutes, and another 2 hours, and then by 6pm. When I got back to store at 6pm, they denied that they said 6pm.
I ended up been waiting here from noon to 8pm until the store closed and couldn’t get back to my work. Yes, I paid $ 120 and finally got my screen replaced to a «brand new» one after a whole day waiting.
Next day, there were some bright spots showing up on my screen, and then it’s just getting worse and worse. My screen went dim with some green lines, and finally it went completely off after few days. Hopelessly, I went to Apply store. The technician told me it was an improper display. Not only it’s a problem screen, there were scratches inside the display and it affected to the inner cables. Basically, it was not been fixed properly in metropcs.
I brought the recipes and apple service description paper back to the this metropcs and told them what happened. They refused to refund me any money even it’s still under 30-​day warranty. I showed them the recipe but they even said that the broken part could not be theirs, I may went other store afterward or I may opened the phone by myself and messed it up. And they made fun of me and called me ridiculous. Come on, why would i do that when I really need my phone?
Don’t waste your money and time to come here. I got my phone fixed again in apple store for $ 149. All parts are authentic, with «real» warranty, nice and quick service. It’s not worth to pay $ 29 less and risk all. You will pay much more later on.
Also, if you buy the $ 10 for $ 20 deal on Unilocal,you will never get it back too!

So I just went to get my Samsung headphone jack replaced and I actually had fantastic service and support. They got the part for me and fixed it the same day. They definitely do repairs on the premises because I waited no more than 10 minutes to get my phone fixed. The negative reviews here are outdated. I think they moved to this location recently and seems like they have it together now. I recommend it.

Do not do get service from this business. If you have to get MetroPCS, visit another store for the service. They are rude and deceptive.
I purchased a plan that was to include Rhapsody service. When I tried to access Rhapsody, I was told I had to pay an additional $ 10.
When I called this company they told me that the plan did not include the service and hung up the phone.

I went to this location because I found a website that advertised that they do gadget repairs.
Repairs are not done on the premises, they are outsourced to a man who they assured me was «the best» but the level of incompetence that I experienced here was unparalleled, and my iPod touch screen is no longer operable after they «fixed» it. I dropped my iPod touch off to have the screen repaired on a Thursday afternoon, and the man at the counter assured me that the guy who did the repairs was the best, and it would be done by the end of the weekend. I was nervous about how much it would cost, but he told me not to worry, I would get a call before any repairs were done to ok any work, and that call would be coming the next day.
So that was Thursday. By Monday, I began to worry. I called the store, and they said it would be fixed by the end of the week. The man had to order an extra part, because the camera was also broken, but he would fix it for free. Baloney. The camera was not broken. I was starting to panic, because I was moving that Friday and needed the repair done before I left.
Thursday rolled around, and I called and insisted that I needed it because I was moving the next day. They told me it they could give it to me, but unfortunately, the man who fixed it dropped it on the floor and shattered the screen again. And they had to order the part, so it would be another week. I told them this was unacceptable, that I was moving and couldn’t wait.
The next day, the man finally dropped it off, and I got my new screen – with a crack in a different location. The salespeople told me if I wanted to send it back, they would repair it. I told them after the experience I had, I expected a discount. They told me no dice, it was already the best price. They said they could ship it to me since I was moving. I asked if they could at least give me free shipping. They were shocked and acted like I was a cheapsake. «Postage is only, like, 5 bucks,» they said to me in shock. A week of my wasted time. The touch screen only works in certain spots, and has a massive crack. I didn’t even get an apology. The only nice thing I have to say, is while I was waiting, they gave me a beer. So, at least I got a free beer out of this mess.

Metro PCS opened in this location over the summer, taking over the Buster Brown shoe store that had been on Austin Street forever. I stopped in today, in my quest to find a phone that can possibly replace my iPhone– they guys here were polite and knew their stuff.
They’ve a range of phones I’ve never heard of like Kyocera, Huawei and ZTE alongside Blackbery, Samsung and Motorola. Their prices are on par with the other stores I’ve visited in the last month, which makes choosing a new phone all the more difficult!
I did like their Samsung range though– GO!
