LOFT

I love Loft cuz it’s one of the few clothing manufacturers with a petites line. Clothes suitable for working in a professional environment, but also to wear on weekends.
I absolutely love shopping here cuz when you purchase clothes, they wrap it in tissue paper and place a sticker. When I go home and open it, it’s like I’m opening a gift. I love gifts for myself. Lol

Surprise to see some cute stuff here. I found a dress and I love it. I noticed many of stuff I felt it’s good material good quality.
I’ve been to a loft in Plainview few times and I didn’t see good quality, a few things kinda became rags after washing and I stopped going there.
AnyWho their sale signs are really messed up, see my picture, this is just one.
I was really really surprised I found a dress in a sale rack because whenever I find something it’s never on sale!!! :(later at the register I find that it was not on sale only one item from the rack was on sale. Crap! Not getting this particular dress not worthy of a full price.
One dress today is enough for me, especially I’m paying a full price and I don’t need to spend anymore money. Still a happy girl: D
I swear they did not say hello to me when I walked in, but I heard them saying hello to every person that walked into the store. I really thought they do not like Asian… or something:’(but I’m sure it’s not that, specially when I don’t consider myself an Asian Lol I felt bad tho :((

I purchased a pair of shorts from the swimwear. When received the shorts it was too small so I went to the Loft on Austin Street. I was advised from the cashier due to the overstock they I can not return to shorts. None of the stores take back maternity, swimwear and I would have to mail it back. That’s ridiculous. They make the customers to purchase online for more than $ 125.00 just so you can get free shipping and handling. LL Bean does not charge, Macy has free shipping and handling and at times Eddie Bauer. They do not have a set amount that you have to buy. The worst part with the Loft is they don’t even have carry a lot of curvy online and definitely in the store. The loft is starting to lose a lot of their touch. It’s a shame. I think it’s start for me to look elsewhere for new clothes.

I usually shop in Brooklyn with my girlfriend at the loft there and we were alway very happy with the store layout and staff. When we walked into this loft we recognized the manager Karen from the loft in Brooklyn. She helped us every time we shopped at the Brooklyn location and now as manager she is even more helpful and courteous. I always had a pleasant experience at loft and will shop at this location from now on because the manager Karen makes shopping with my girlfriend a very enjoyable and simple task.

The customer service here is horrible… I would rather shop online… Also not much of a variety… never can find parking

The customer service here was far from great. Very far. An associate started off by opening the fitting room and helping me out, yet when I got to check out they made a big fuss about me wearing the shirt out. I work in retail, and I’m familiar with how ringing up customers works… So I know for a fact that the whole fuss they made was beyond necessary. I wouldn’t come back simply for the service. I was very uncomfortable and wouldn’t feel right spending more than $ 20 at a place where I don’t feel appreciated as a customer.

Loft’s boot socks are horrible. My legs are so thin and they cut off circulation. I’ve never had such an awful item before! I wish I could get a refund. Ick.

I went there yesterday and had the displeasure of dealing with a new sales guy. He was so bitchy! He had a sour pus face and not that friendly as I’m accustomed to at Ann Taylor Loft. I hope he changes his approach, Just too much attitude.

I love Loft! There was a time when 90% of my closet would be from there… these days its a hit and miss. As a teacher I hit up Loft for most of my work and casual pieces. They tend to have the best statement necklaces, slacks, blazers and layering pieces for my lifestyle.
This location is now the one closest to me because they closed the one in Green Acres Mall 2 yrs ago. It’s definitely on the small side and it can get packed and overwhelming. The floor plan is decent and easy to work. They tend to have a fair amount of items marked down but this is not the store to find things that you’re looking for from the website.
They are always late getting new items and when they do get them they seem to get a very limited amount despite the demands. Irritating!
If you’re visiting on the weekend you’ll have a hard time finding anyone on the floor to assist you and even though they have about 4 registers the lines will be doubly wrapped around the store because they move s l o w l y.
Bottom line, save yourself the aggregation and just head to the 1450 bdwy location at 4 2^nd st. It’s a flagship. They have tons of stock, a huge sale section because the turnover is fast, they have so much accessories and you’ll have all the help you need.

More upscale clothing retailer on Forest Hills-​71. Charming location. Surprised they only have one or two staff people on at a time; could use more workers to help the customers get taken care of more efficiently.

Very organized and clean, spacious fitting room (great lighting too), and the employees were very helpful and friendly. Even the sale section was super organized, something you don’t see very often.

Teacher discounts! Who doesn’t love a good deal? And especially one for doing what you love!
The store is always well organized and stocked. There are plenty of staff to help you. I do feel they would be friendlier and more approachable. They tend to loft around (no pun intended) folding things, but rarely do they ask if you need assistance. Check out the last time I was there was fairly quick.

This USE to be my favorite store. Now I mainly go to return my online purchases that I don’t want because it is close to my home. Years ago I would only shop here. They have NOOO selection at all. The staff think their s!!! don’t stink. I mean really how much do you make an hour that you can treat a customer so rudely? ATL is going down and it is a shame. You will be like the gap and just a memory.

I really like Ann Taylor, but this location seems to have less inventory than most other locations.

This is one of those reviews where you’re pissed that there’s not an option for no stars.
There is ALWAYS poor service at this place. As another reviewer on here notes, there are multiple staff folding sweaters, but always a line. It doesn’t matter if you are the only person on line, you will be waiting.
This evening, I went to get their suede boots, they aren’t that great but I have a date and I want new boots. My 40 other pairs are not good enough. So the boots are 50% off, which given the eh quality, should be the original price with another 50% off. I digress. I asked the manager, if as the sign notes, there was another 40% off of this sale item. She responded in a snarky tone (how often does one need to use the word snarky?), «no, it’s not 90% off». I replied that it wouldn’t mean 90% off, it would mean another 40% after the 50%. I then proceeded to wait 20 minutes — I really needed these boots. I looked over at the manager again and asked if another person could open up. She replied no b/​c she was the only one there (which turned out not to be true). Apparently Forest Hills is in danger of sweater thieves and she needed to stay firmly planted at the door to catch bandits. She’s a manager/​bandit catcher. Finally, I got to purchase my shoes.
Ridiculous, only go if you must and give that bitch a dirty look for me.

I love Ann Taylor Loft. This location leaves a lot to be desired, though.
Today I was shopping with a few friends and buying quite a
bit of clothes (my bill was around $ 200). I got in line to check out
around 7:20 and there were two cashiers working. When I was at the
front of the line there were three people behind me in line waiting to
check out. One of the two cashiers finished ringing up her customer
and then proceeded to fold the clothes that were behind the counter
and tidy up behind the counter while there were FOUR people in line.
This is unacceptable. I (and the people behind me in line) had been
waiting in line for a few minutes already, and this cashier determined
that it was more important to tidy up behind the cashwrap than to help
the four customers waiting in line. This is completely unacceptable.
It was not as if she did not know there was a line — she looked at all
of us waiting and went back to folding the clothes.
This is not the first time that I’ve experienced this level of
customer service at this Ann Taylor LOFT store. On a previous visit
to this location I was told that I was unable to use my teacher
discount without presenting a coupon. I showed the casher my union
card and school ID; however, this was neither proof enough that I was
an educator nor was it sufficient to grant me the discount that LOFT
so generously offers to educators. Every other LOFT location gives
this discount upon presentation of the proper identification.
(Incidentally, there IS no coupon to print out on the LOFT website for
the teacher discount.)
Unfortunately, this will be my last visit to this location, and possibly to ANY Ann Taylor store. This level of rudeness is unacceptable. If you want their clothes shop online or go to one of the stores in the city.

They are somewhat attentive to clients’ needs. The clothes are on the pricey side but fashionable in keeping up with the trends. On the negative side they have a limited selection for petite sizes which they cater to mostly women’s sizes rather than the petite market. Their fitting rooms are neat, free of clutter unlike most clothing retailers. It’s either a hit or miss whenever I shop here given the very limited selection and quantity of petite clothes. Extremely overpriced for women’s sizes, albeit bears no substance in the petite market.
