Yummy Pad Thai, but the place looks deserted. The table and chairs, but the prices on the large menu do not match the prices on the regular menu. The old Asian woman was nice. When I paid with my credit card, the woman asked me how much I wanted to tip and since I was getting take out I didn’t want to, but there was no option no to! So I pressed 15%.

The food here is excellent. I had tried most of the curry dishes. Each one was great. My favorite is the yellow curry. The owner, Nancy, is the sweetest lady. She always has a smile on her face. I highly recommend this restaurant.

AWFUL! Went there today to get some chicken to go with the salad I brought to work and this was $ 12.36! No rice and no salad, chicken only! And it was the most awful food I have ever had! Never again! Rip-off and disgusting!

Delicious food and a massive quantity for dinner. I definitely felt stuffed when I was finished. The owner is a sweet lil old Asian woman with a loud voice(she’s NOT yelling at you!) My sister(who got food from another nearby restaurant), saw my massive plate of drunken noodles and said that it looked very similar to dishes she saw when she was in Thailand. Lastly, despite some plates having a pepper by the description, you MUST ask for the food to be spicy or you’ll get«American spicy», which is to say, no heat what so ever… The spice scale they use ranges from 1 – 4, I had a 4 and while it was spicy, it could definitely have been hotter still.

I tried to take my girl out for a decent meal in the area. I was labor day so the couple places I like were closed. I like thai food alot and thought Id take a chance. I got the same ‘sticker shock’ another reviewer mentioned. Then I thought… okay that’s what it takes to get more authentic food than Thai Spice. Rex Curry was terrible. Not spicy, thin, chicken didn’t absorb any flavor and it had an overall chemical sting like soap or windex got in there. Thai Tea was $ 4. I ordered ginger chicken which came out kind of cold with undercooked vegetables. My standards aren’t high so I didn’t mind. My girl ended up eating as much as she could because she felt guilty that I blew $ 30, then got sick… I didn’t want to complain to the sweet old woman owner/waitress/cashier so I went to Natrajs Tandoori next door and bought some Red Curry. Equally bad in a progresso soup sort of way. That whole food court is cursed. Vietnamese place is bad too, and I’m not the critical type at all. Whole day ended up depressing. Wish I had gone to Thai Spice.

The food here is excellent. I thought it would be more like a Panda Express style, but I was pleasantly surprised when they cooked my food after I ordered it. Went back the next night to get even more it was so good.

Hadn’t had thai food in awhile so I ended up ordering the pineapple fried rice. Honestly, the worst tasting fried rice I’ve ever had. The elder couple working this joint was a man cooking in the back and the woman taking orders and ringing you up. She’s basically yelling at you to pay and pick up your order even though you are standing right in front of her filling your beverage cup. Yes, I hear you! Never again.

Absolutely our favorite Thai restaurant in the area. The owner is attentive, gracious and kind and the food is amazing!

Place was absolutely horrible. I’m from l. a and thought this would be a good place to take my mom. They charged us 24 dollars for veggie curry that was half full, a shrimp plate that looked like chicken nuggets(about only 7 pieces) and a thai tea(i eas walking away from the place unsure but i passed). We got home opened up the food and went«what the hell is this?» I didnt even want to go back and complain because i rarely do these things im usually passive but heed my warning… check your plates before you leave and make sure they give you a full portion. Highway robbery to the fullest. I even told my ma i’d bring her real thai food from the south bay where i know it’s good and the portions are generous. Even the thai iced tea wasnt that much(because they filled the cup mostly with ice… barley anything in it. This place is terrible, can’t stress it enough. Wow. Btw I’m a pretty nice guy and hate to do these things but seriously… unbelievable. Just don’t go, its that simple.

So, wanting to spread my wings from my usual thai places, I tried this place. First off, they have two price lists, second, they still charge you a higher price than is on the«weekend» menu. Food is not good. Not Thai and not tasty. This is one time that nice did not make up for food that was not good. Thai Tea was good, typical.

I decided to try this place on the fly because my 7 year old daughter suggested Thai food for dinner. It was a bad call to select this place; the prices were outrageous for what we ordered. They then forgot or ignored the fact that I said it was to go. After dealing with sticker shock I was optimistic about the food, until we came home and ate. The food was lacking in flavor, which made the experience more insulting. My daughter even stated it was her 3rd least favorite. Their service is ok and their lunch prices seem reasonable, but what’s the point if the quality of the food is lacking. It is sad when you’ve had quality food to have anything less and pay more. For a shopping center restaurant, their dinner prices are too high. If you’re hungry and want Thai flavored food and don’t care about taste or price, then you can pop in, otherwise I would not recommend this place, even if the food was free :( If you believe this place offers the best Thai food, you’ve probably never tried good Thai food.

I found the service friendly, and a little more upscale than the other places in the food court. I liked how they actually served on real plates instead of in a plastic box, and were happy to deliver anywhere in the food court so we could sit down and enjoy our company and not wait in their area for our food like the sushi place made our friends wait. Not sure why other reviews say the portions are small, mine was large. I do agree with the capriciousness of the pricing. I didn’t see seafood pad thai on menu, so asked if it was available, and was told yes, but it was $ 7 extra. When I hesitated I was assured it came with all kinds of seafood. But $ 7 extra for two mussels a scattering of scallops and calamari seemed pricey. A little bland, if I go again I’ll have them kick the spice up a bit(which they offered to do).

Love the yellow curry with chicken and the basil chicken bowl. Friendly owners that work hard at providing quality food and service. I typically do take out but they have some indoor and outdoor seating.

the beef went bad already. and they charged me $ 2 more than the price on the menu and told me that’s tax… how could tax be $ 2 for a $ 7.75 lunch… the taste is terrible, nothing is fresh… will never come back again… terrible

Needed to grab a quick bite before a movie. Ordered shrimp pad Thai and pad see ew plus two Thai ice teas. Everything was better than I was expecting. For a food court dining establishment I easily give it 4 stars!

Thai Babcock is a food court restaurant, so my expectations were not high. The resturant is stuffed between a Rubino’s and Daphne’s and appears to be a wife and husband duo. I got the Thai lime salad with chicken and it was awesome, great flavor. A bit spicy(which is what I like) and tangy. Loved it.

Lady that owns this place is super sweet and hilarious! My husband and I love her. We’ve been four times in the span of a couple months. Each time we got the pad Thai chicken. Each time we loved it! Huge portion and I always end up having enough leftovers for another meal. We aren’t too familiar with Thai food so we can’t really compare it to anything but it’s tasty! Sometimes she charges us the lunch price at dinner. or maybe she forgets because one time she forgot to charge tax.

I wish I could give this place more stars because the lady who runs this place is just so adorable! So, I’m going to give this place 4 stars for customer service but 2 stars for the food, so that rounds out to 3 stars. It’s a small restaurant that is part of the festival food court, so it means a few things: 1.) food court food 2.) outdoor seating 3.) food court food. Don’t get me wrong, there are plenty of food courts that have amazing food, but this is just okay. A lot of movie goers flock here before the shows and it is a nice food court area with plenty of seating and heating lamps for those cold nights. The food at this restaurant is okay. I got the spicy fried rice with chicken and it was good. I do like the texture of the rice but it totally lacked the spiciness I was hoping for. The thai tea was good but the drink is mainly full of ice, not really worth the price you pay for the drink. We shared the pad thai with chicken and I thought it was okay too. The serving for the pad thai was bigger than the fried rice. Overall, a-ok and it is food court food.

Love this place! Went there on a whim the first time — it was cold outside and the owners’ kids occupied all the inside tables doing their homework, so my now husband and I huddled under a heater outside and looked at each other with a «what are we getting into?» Then, the yellow chicken curry arrive. Tangy. We like it so much, we have difficulty ordering something different when we go, but we keep trying. Like the ginger beef and the Thai basil chicken. The spring rolls and egg rolls, hmm, not so much. The lady behind the counter knows my husband by voice, so when he calls on his way home, she calls him by name and our order is always ready when we get there. Been to Thailand and have Thai friends, and this is authentic. Nothing fancy, but we’ve served it at parties and had rave reviews!

I feel a little bad for giving only 2 stars because the lady works there is very quirky and sweet. But the food was definately 2 stars and this is a review on the food not the workers/owners. Arrived for lunch with some friends and we were the only ones ordering. My friends got the yellow curry and I got the spicy basil chicken. The curry didn’t look too specil, potato and some carrots in curry sauce with a scoop of rice. My dish was suppose to be spicy(it had that little pepper astricks next to it) but had NO kick whatsoever. On top of that, for a $ 9 dish, the serving size was TINY! Now if it was freaking deliciousness in mouth I might let the portion size go, but it tasted bland, like they took some dry chicken breast pieces and tossed it with some bell peppers and onions. For a dish with the words spicy and basil in it, I could find neither. And the rice tasted a little dry/old as well. Would not come back.
