The food is always killer and consistently good. Especially the Carne Asada plate and Albondigas Soup. The only downside is the service is not usually very good. The restaurant just seems to be understaffed. No one is ever rude, just not attentive and too busy with other tables.

I was here yesterday. The food is good, don’t get me wrong but the prices are way too much. I had 3 tacos and rice and beans for $ 13. Almost the equivalence to a dinner price at red lobster or Olive Garden.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Folsom. The food is delicious. It seems a little quieter than many restaurants so it is a good place to meet a friend and catch up on events.

Ok so it’s not much on décor but… I grew up in So Cal working in the Hispanic district at a friend’s grandmother’s restaurant. And this brought back memories of good authentic Mexican food. No frills, great portions, and authentic taste. Yes it takes a bit longer but we’ll worth it. I had a shredded beef chimichanga beans and rice. Very well seasoned and flavorful. My husband had the chicken mole. He enjoys their mole as often as he can! It is reminiscent of abuellas mole. There salsa served with chips is the real deal. If you tell them you can handle the spice they will serve you the true authentic spicy mole, salsa, Verdi in true Hispanic heated fashion! I recommend you give it a try!

Excellent mexican food! The shredded beef nachos are amazing. The chicken tacos, fish tacos are amazing. We discovered this restaurant after Hacienda Del Rio closed due the fire. The service at first was not very good — it definitely seemed that they were overwhelmed with all the new customers. The service is getting better. Expect great food and adequate service.

We went to Rosa Blanca last night for Cinco de Mayo. I will say that the best thing about this restaurant is the hospitality. The staff are friendly, even when very busy. Regardless of the high level of hospitailty, nothing can excuse that they did not ever bring our daughter’s dinner. Even after two requests to the server, and us literally asking for her meal, it never appeared. They did not even offer a TOGO order to make up for her missed meal and hunger, but made sure to point out that it her kid’s meal was not on the bill. Wow. So, at 10p.m. last night, I was in the kitchen, feeding our daughter because she was so hungry that there was no way that she could go to bed without food. Here’s a quick review of the food: Mild salsa was delicious. Spicy salsa had no flavor. Chips tasted like cardboard. My meal(tamale azal) was really good. Boyfriend’s carne asada tacos was bland, no taste, very chewy. Literally. I find it unexcusable to forget an ordered meal. To reiterate, the ordered dish was requested to the server two more times, and was never brought out to us. I also think that their food is very unpredictable as to what the flavor and quality of the dish will be. We were really disappointed in the meal, and dining experience. All $ 55, plus tip.

I hate giving low reviews, but in this case I really can’t give any higher than 2. My friend and I decided to try La Rosa Blanca out because we wanted authentic Mexican and the other place in town supposedly is not very good. Upon arriving, it was very busy which we took as a good sign. But we were able to get seated right away. We ordered an appetizer and our entrees after a few minutes. We both got enchiladas. The food also came out pretty fast. Overall the food was decent, not amazing or anything to write home about, but not bad. Problem #1: when I ordered, I asked about a different chicken entrée and asked if it was all white meat. The waiter said no. I asked if the enchiladas were all white meat. He said yes. So I got the enchiladas. The enchiladas were not white meat. It may not seem like a big deal, but I reallyyyyyyyy prefer white meat chicken and that’s why I specifically asked. Problem #2: the waiter just brought us our check. He never asked if we wanted anything else. We legitimately wanted dessert. We waited for over 20 minutes to flag the waiter down to order dessert. Wouldn’t you want to know why your table isn’t paying their tab? Or getting up and leaving? That’s time wasted for everyone… us, customers who could’ve take the table sooner and the staff. Problem #3: this was the biggie. Our tab was $ 36.64. This included tax. My friend had a $ 20 bill and I had a card. I told the waiter, use the cash and put the rest on my card. When he brought the check back, my card was charged for $ 19.64. The waiter helped himself to an extra $ 3! My husband was a waiter for years and said this was a common trick of shady waiters — add a dollar or two to the total when running the credit card and then when they sign the receipt(hopefully with the addition of a tip), you get to pocket that tip plus the extra dollar or whatever. That did it for us. I signed my receipt and left.

After a long walk on the trail we ended up at La Rosa Blanca for tacos, chips and guacamole. The server Katie was fantastic. The food was fresh and Mexican beer was tasty. We even tried the wine margarita which was very refreshing. They have seating outside and are quite popular.

Holy guacamole! This place is perfect for the veggie person. I ordered beans, rice, guac, mole and my taste buds exploded with excitement! Because I mentioned I was vegetarian, the staff brought me whole beans. What?! I didn’t have to ask for veggie options because they know how to cater to vegetarians!!! Woo hoo! Very rare still in restaurant business Ps, the mole is the best I’ve tried in years!!!

Little spot with a family run feeling. Service was good. Ordered the street tacos with carnitas and side of guacamole. We came here after hot afternoon at the renaissance faire so cooled off with a yummy raspberry margarita too. All was very tasty, would definitely return if back in the area.

Blanca part is right it’s pretty dam blanca! Salsa is spicy ketchup, this is another example of a potential awesome Mexican rest that is less than due to cliental who say«is it spicy» YES It’s spicy… it’s supposed to be! Go to Burger king while their still in business! Come on White Rose!!! Kick it in gear, we are your neighbors and want awesome Mex in walking distance!!! If people don’t like it let them pick the piece of onion off! Seriously, and just a beer and wine license here you need to serve real margaritas! Limited hours here too :(

My friend and I got lost trying to find a Thai restaurant for lunch and stumbled upon this place so we figured we’d give it a try since we were running out of time on our break. On the outside, it didn’t look too spectacular but the food was delicious and the service was quick. As soon as we entered, we were greeted and seated by the hostess. I ordered the chimichanga and she ordered the taco salad. Portions were huge, it tasted great and the price wasn’t bad either as we had the lunch special. I’d definitely go back, on purpose this time

I really like this little hole-in-the-wall joint for lunch. The place is very small, but brightly colored and always very clean. We’ve seen nothing but great, positive customer service in the place, ad enjoy the food. In our most recent visit, I had the Posole. Very tasty. The pork was tender ad there was plenty of it. It was very filling and tasted great. Check out the pictures to get a better idea of the dish. Yum. My wife tried the talapia tacos, and also like them. The kid had a bean and cheese burrito plate, which looked like any other you would find at any mexican food place. It seemed fine. It also came with ice cream. The prices were just a little high for what you got, but within expectations for a place like this. If you are looking for a place to grab a quick bite, stop in.

This place is so hit or miss. I’ve had maybe two really good experiences and four really bad experiences. They are NOT fresh or authentic. Whoever says they are has clearly never had Mexican food that is either fresh or authentic. Their salsa tastes like El Paso. The canned/bagged/jarred theme applies to all of their food. All instant. All preserved. They do have a nice ambiance and great customer service, but frankly that’s all they have to offer. It’s really like a sit-down fast-food restaurant with higher prices. I came in Friday for lunch, and decided to have the bean burrito, since there are no good lunch options anymore. I think they are trying to save money by only including things made from tortilla, bean, and cheese. It would be nice if they at least added flautas or sopes to the lunch selections. The burrito took literally two minutes to be made, and was not even as good as the 99 cent burrito from Del Taco. It was covered in more red sauce from a can. Not worth it.
