Joy of Children Preschool

Words cannot express how grateful I am that I found JOC PRESCHOOL! My child has flourished since day 1. The owners are on site every single day and are super approachable. They embrace all students to become a powerful preschooler, while maintaining such an amazing balance of structure and love. Their teaching/​learning model is awesome! Not only have they taught my child how to empower herself, they have made her excited about learning and trying new things. I recommend anyone looking for a preschool, to go tour JOC!
They don’t advertise as much as other preschools, due to there amazing reputation by word of mouth! JOC is a hidden gem!

Tonight I watched my little kiddo graduate from Joy of Children, and while I am so incredibly proud of her in every way, I am also very grateful for the guidance, love, and caring that the teachers at JOC gave her for the last couple years. In every way, JOC has met my expectations in promoting artistic growth, individualism, academic learning, kindness, friendships, and politeness.
I highly recommend this Preschool. For the reasons listed above, and for some other very important reasons. First of all, the owners Ms. Alecia and Ms. Elaine listen to concerns and questions. They listen, and respond immediately. The took time to make sure, as a parent, I was completely informed. Secondly, they communicate well, the goals, the schedule, and the progress. Third, I never doubted my child’s happiness and safety in their school, and I tend to be a VERY (possibly overly) concerned parent.
When I set out on a quest to find the best preschool for my daughter, I really wanted a school that had a good balance of everything. I wanted academics, I wanted art, socializing, playtime, respectful and polite interaction, and a focus on individualism. But most importantly, I wanted my daughter to be happy where she went. JOC balanced it all perfectly. And my daughter was and is thrilled to be a part of JOC.

This is going on my daughters second month of school. She is soooo happy everytime she attends. Everyone is so friendly and caring. Just beyond thankful for Joy of children. They’ve been such a blessing for my daughter and I! One happy Mom and daughter here!

This is an awesome preschool! I can’t say enough good things about this school. I feel blessed that my children have attended here. Their academics are great. My kids come home behaved! Wow! :) They truly care for the kids and go out of their way for them! Best decision I’ve made for my kids so far.

JOC is a fantastic preschool. Having had experience with 3 other preschools
besides JOC, I can say they are hands down the best we have had. Ms. Alecia and Ms. Elaine and highly trained staff members who are loving/​caring. They are diligent about teaching kids manners and respect while at the same time providing them with the academic skills needed to be prepared for Kindergarten. We tried out a new preschool due to schedule conflicts with elementary school and were profoundly disappointed with the results. My son continues to ask «when am I going back to my blue preschool mom?»

This is the 3^rd preschool that we have been to between my kids, they said you save the best for last! This school is amazing! Ms Alecia and Ms Elaine are the so great with the kids! I am so happy we got 1 year in at JOC! My preschooler is doing my kindergarteners school work! We are going to be very sad when its time to move on! We LOVE JOC!!!

Joy of Chilfren is by far the BEST Preschool in Folsom!!! The teachers are all AMAZING… most of them have been at Joy of Children for 5+ years — zero staff turnover really shows you that they all love their jobs — teaching & caring for children like mine. I can honestly say I’ve seen leaps & bounds in my son since starting him at JOC last year. They make learning loads of fun. The kids learn rules & respect for others early on. There’s creativity & lots fun play time. I can honestly recommend Joy of Children as one of the BEST Preschools around!
