History

Established in 2011.

We are in Dr. Ted Brush’s Building who practiced at this location for 25 years. In 2011 Dr. Pawar completely revamped the business, brought in modern technology while still maintaining the cozy, at-​home feeling that this office located in the historic district of Folsom brings to you! As of 2011 the office is completely paperless and all of the patient registration forms can be filled out online; All x-​rays are completely digital highly minimizing the amount of radiation that the patient gets exposed to! As our business grows the one thing we always want in our cross-​hairs is a high level of customer service that falls in line with the quality of dental experience we are trying to impart to our clients here!

Dr. Pawar graduated from Columbia University and has lived in Folsom

with his family and practicing dentistry there for more than 8 years. In

October of 2011 Dr. Pawar opened his own independent dental practice

in the historic district in Folsom with the vision of practicing dentistry

the way he has always felt it should be — bringing high ethical and

moral standards to his practice without pressure on his patients. He

lives by this vision daily and cherishes the opportunity to continue to

do so. Dr. Pawar will offer Saturday and evening hours to accommodate

his patients’ busy schedules. Aware of the many patients who are

phobic regarding visiting a dentist, Dr. Pawar takes great care to put

Never have I felt as comfortable in a dentist’s office, as I have in Dr. Pawar’s. From the sweet lady at the front desk, to the dental hygienist, to Dr. Pawar, I was extremely pleased. It’s a small, cozy office, and they all make you feel welcome. There are text and email notifications about your appointment, which is nice. I didn’t even have to sit down and wait for anyone to see me. Such an awesome experience, and as weird as it sounds, I can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend.

Doctor Pawar helped me out when I lost a crown while I was up in the mountains travelling. I live in another state and it was a Saturday. Honestly, he was the only person who was willing to do it, and he put the crown back in right as rain and I was on my way in a few hours. He also offered some great advice.

My wife and i are both physicians and we decided to go with Dr. Pawar after reading the reviews. He is pleasant and probably good for basic dental work.
My wife went to him and wanted an implant
However he convinced her that she needed crown lengthening and crown.
He has another surgeon who comes to his office to do the surgical procedure. This should have alerted us… Rather than referring to a surgeons office he gets them to his office.
The ordeal that started there is still lingering. The Surgeon went on a vacation in between the procedure… My wife was in tremendous pain… Post procedure the crown broke up in 6 months… When we went to an oral surgeon he told us that it was a very poor job
After spending a lot of money i think that was just poor work.
Went to Creekside Dentistry which is more professional…
In a nutshell i think he is great guy for basic dental procedures but if you have any surgical procedures my professional advice is ask him to refer you out to the Surgeon regardless if he associated with him or not.
The Bottom line is Delta Dental will not insure for another 5 years as his office has used up everything and my wife is going for an implant.
This is a very difficult choice. I would suggest taking second opinions…
On the plus side his office staff and Dr. Pawar is very courteous…

I have been visiting Dr Amar Pawar for the last 2 years. He and his staff are really good and friendly. Dr Pawar recommends you with the best care required for maintaining your dental health. When it comes to appointments and patient check-​in, this is one of the best places where I do not have to wait even for 5 minutes. They also send you multiple reminders, which is a good thing for me to plan my visit accordingly. In short Dr Pawar’s dentistry is very good.

Recently we had to see a dentist for my wife. A close friend highly recommended Dr. Pawar. I can’t thank my friend enough for this.
In our emergency, Dr. Pawar found time for us in his busy schedule, gave excellent advice and referral, and completed the job professionally. there was no room for any complaint. The staff was friendly and efficient. A very good dental office!

The staff here is comprised of poorly supervised dental students earning credits for college, and one dentist. Any positive reviews you see here should be taken with a grain of salt because they actively and specifically promote the trading of discounts for positive Unilocal reviews. Their infamous teeth whitening service is Walmart quality at best, and you can expect cut-​corners for anything you spend money on beyond a basic cleaning. I spent a lot of money for a bite guard thing they were pushing, and the end result was nothing like what was promised. What I was promised was a product that (from the picture) looked like something you should get from a dentist but what they delivered was something one of the students mixed up in a cup to let harden, which by the end of it looked like a high school science project. The student who did the sizing and made it for me had the demeanor of a little girl playing house. It didn’t work like they said it would and they gave me the run around to avoid having to give me my money back (it was expensive). In my year or so of coming here I observed them trying to use dirty used equipment on me more than a few times, ie safety glasses smeared with oils from other patients and dirty exam rooms. The office itself looks like a converted house and didn’t strike me as professional looking. In closing, as terrible as it may sound I honestly think the care of my teeth was compromised in the year or so of coming here.

My last couple of dental experiences were at Western Dental – coming here yesterday was a real eye-​opener for me – It’s like I remembered what good dentistry is supposed to be like! I had a cleaning that was done by Jimmie – and it was SO thorough and afterwards I really could feel how clean my teeth were! She really took her time and did an amazing job!
Dr. Pawar was very personable and I took an instant liking to him.
I had the Sinsational teeth whitening done. It was only 20 mins and painless – even afterwards, I don’t have any sensitivity. I had Zoom in the past – and I think Zoom might have gotten better results – but, it was a little painful and took longer!
The office staff here are all super friendly and the office is clean and all the equipment is up to date.
I wouldn’t hesitate to refer anyone to this office – in fact, I already told my husband to go there (!)

A few years ago Dr. Pawar was amazing with helping a friend of mine who was TERRIFIED of the Dentist. Dr. Pawar was really funny, patient, kind and was willing to work around our schedule! The experience was terrific!!!
So, as you can imagine, last night my «temporary» crown I had for 3 years came off and I panicked. I immediately remembered Dr. Pawar and how kind he was. I emailed his office this morning and within an hour I had already received a response asking I could go in today. Well, I couldn’t because of my work schedule however, I did get an appointment for Monday afternoon.
It was so easy, fast and convenient to get an appointment so soon.
If you are looking for a friendly, fun Dentist GO!!!

This was my first visit to the dentist since my last dentist moved. I’ve got to say they were very understanding of my situation and talkied me through the whole process. They were able to explain my insurance benefits and discuss options to take care of my needs in the future as well as now. Overall I’d give my visit 5 stars!

I have gotten cavities filled by dr. pawar. I never felt anything and he saved my youth from a root canal. I would definitely recommend him, he is a good dentist and makes the patient feel comfortable.

The office is located in the older part of Folsom and gives it a nice small town dentistry feel to it. I walked in to be greeted with a smile and was directed to a computer where I would fill out my forms. Once I was signed in, I was immediately directed to the back where my x-​rays were all taken digitally. They also have a panoramic xray machine which made it go by quick. After that I met with the dentist and he explained my situation to me in a clear and concise manner. Shortly afterwards he went right to work and cleaned my teeth. I was there for a little over an hour and didn’t have to wait at all. I also was able to make my appointment at 4pm which allowed me to not have to use any time off. I am pleased with the customer service and look forward to my return visit in 6 months.
