At Foothill Smile Designs, we have focused on preventive, family and cosmetic dentistry since we opened in Folsom in 1999. We offer most services at our Folsom office, including same day crowns using CEREC technology, root canals, implants, tooth colored composite fillings, and surgical and non-​surgical periodontal treatment. We also have specialists on staff to ensure that our patients receive treatment at the highest possible level needed.

Dr. Djifroudi graduated from UCSF School of Dentistry in 1996. He immediately moved back to his hometown of Davis, but fell in love with the city of Folsom while visiting friends there. He and his business partner established Foothill Smile Designs in 1999.

There is only one way to describe Dr. Dj and his staff… WONDERFUL!!!
The best dentist and staff I have ever been toooo!
I am fearful of dentists because of some bad experiences. Dr. Dj and Ron are wonderful, gentle and fast!
Samatha at the front desk is great… she has that office down! They really work with your schedule and budget!
I would give them 10 STARS if I could!!! If you have fear of dentists… this is the dentist to see.

really? The first review? Well, it’s an honor.
I’ve been in the Folsom area for about 15 years and have been to a number of dentist offices. This place is among the best dental office places I’ve been to.
If you want something, try just asking for it. I had the best experience with Samantha, who went out of her way to accommodate me, even when the insurance provider was taking their sweet time in getting all my paperwork in order. She somehow managed to get my authorizations done for major dental work all in December, allowing me to use last year’s (expiring) dental benefits, and all while the other offices are getting ready for their 2 week hiatus.
As for my major dental work, I had a great no-​metal-​base crown and service provided by Dr Djifroudi. He is pleasant, calm (what’s the opposite of rushed?), and seems genuinely caring. He patiently answered all my questions during the prep of the lab-​work, and provided regular updates while I waited for the crown to finish.
I also am very pleased with his rate schedule, or what he was able to do for me. Sorry, I think I have to keep the rest of this part to myself, but give him a call and tell them your situation and, if you are like me, you will see that they earn your business.
So, after my recent 2 visits I was left thinking how can i repay the great services that i received from this office, and a positive Unilocal review was on top of my list. I think small personal gestures of gratitude will also be in order.
By the way, they are located between Subway and Starbucks, which are probably among my favorite shops. Don’t need to search through the reading materials, I have my smart-​phone with WIFI, thank you. Maybe Fry’s Electronics will open across the street or behind the clinic. One can dream.
