Yeah. Parking sucks royally of you go during the middle of the day on the weekend. Hence, the three-​star rating Add to that the wait to even get in the parking garage and you’ve got a hot *ss mess. But once in, here are a rack of stores to choose from free from the rain and snow.

I mainly come here for Target but I do like that there are other stores such as Nike, Uniqlo and Nordstrom rack here. Although the Uniqlo here has a limited selection of clothing/​styles.
Im giving two stars because there is barely ever any cell service here and the lower you go, the less cell service you get. That’s just annoying. And there’s not going to be free 3 hour parking after the 16^th of February, which I think is a poor act on their part. The free parking is what drives people to park and come to skyview. I always find myself going through the stores and buying something from target whenever I park there without the intention of shopping there. It helps with the revenue of stores and traffic.
Now I’m not so sure if I’m willing to park at skyview after they implement the new policy. I mean $ 3 for 0 – 3 hours isn’t bad if you take advantage of the full three hours — which is equivalent to 3 hours of meter parking in flushing. But beware, it’s $ 5 after 3 hours so it’s not worth it. I don’t even need the full 3 hours sometimes so it’ll be a waste.
What a shame. Their 3 hour free parking was the best perk of skyview and the best part about flushing. It makes coming to flushing more convenient and frequent. Can’t win ‘em all I suppose.
The stores here aren’t bad, the selection in the stores are just poor.

Stores are good but layout of mall is confusing. To get to the other side of the mall you have to cross the parking lot which is weird. Going from Target to Best Buy wasn’t easy.
The Target had terribly long lines and just two cashiers on a busy Sat night! Please staff up properly!
If you eat at Applebee’s and mall closes, you will have a hard time finding your way out to the parking lot. Entrances are closed and no one is around to guide you. Very frustrating!
The perk is free parking for the first 3 hours however I’m reading in the reviews that this is going to end which is a shame!

It’s nice to have a decent mall near the hustle and bustle of Flushing. even if it gets crowded here at times too.
There’s a decent variety of shops here, with Target being the center piece of this modest-​sized mall. Generally the crowd here isn’t overwhelming, barring the holidays. It’s also good to be able to pick up essentials and also check out some other stores like Uniqlo and other apparel retailers.
It’s also nice that they have a hot pot place here now as well, which adds to the variety of food options. Parking is generally okay, but sometimes the excess of cars looping around can be annoying. Otherwise, it’s not a bad place to shop and it’s not too far of a walk from the 7 train.

i would have given this Skyview Center 5 stars if anybody and yes i do mean anybody walks into this mall and has perfect service on their phone because once you enter this mall your telephone service tends to disappear and you are lucky if you stand in one stop and get a good connection on your phone. The Wi-​Fi is so so its not all outstanding either. Now with the important thing out of the way lets start with the mall or should i say «center».
This center has a good selection of stores from clearance stores to a food court with the majority because Asian of course it is located in Main Street which is a mini China. The prices in this mall for some reason are cheaper i have no idea why tho, Even the clearance stores are cheaper. Basement you have nike and the food court to a GNC and even a Chuckie Cheese for the kids. 1^st floor you have Adidas clearance to a forever 21 for men and woman to an Old Navy and Marshalls and a newly opened Uniqlo. 2^nd floor you have Target and … thats pretty much it for the 2^nd floor.
But i would have to say one thing … this mall is very clean and if you need an ATM they have a bunch in this center which is a plus and their chase i mean who doesnt have chase nowadays.

I spent over 3 hours stuck in the parking lot new years eve, I wanted to die!
theres no security, no help with traffic!!! it was literally jam packed way over the legal occupancy of it. Stupid ass place

The Skyview Center can be described as a small mall with the «anchor» stores like Best Buy, Bed Bath & Beyond, BJs, Target and Marshalls with a handfull of popular stores like Forever 21 and the Nike Clearance outlets.
What’s lacking is an open food court but there are several restaurants and a Chinese market (in the hidden corners of the mall).
A negative is the location of the Best Buy store. Not sure why it’s not located in the main shopping area (where most of the foot traffic are) but rather on the «other side» of the mall (where the garage traffic is).
Another negative is the garage elevators. Expect crowds of shoppers rushing into the elevators with shopping cars from BJs (especially when there is only one elevator working) and pressing the emergency instead of the door close button.
A big negative is the multi floor indoor parking garage that is cramp and not the safest for cars, drivers and pedestrians. Some Unilocalers reported that the garage can get dangerous. Expect to see inconsiderate drivers not stopping or yielding to shoppers.
Parking is free for three hours but expect to spend some of the free time entering, looking for space and exiting (especially during the peak times).
Skyview is far from being considered «Queens largest» and deserves two stars because you’ll get a better shopping experience at the Queens Center Mall, Rego Park or Roosevelt Field Mall in Westbury, LI…

I visit Skyview Center at least once a week. Seems a bit excessive, but I am in Flushing a good amount and Skyview center happens to be where I do quite a lot.
First off Skyview is located close to the Grand Central Parkway, the Long Island Expressway and the Whitestone Expressway. On top of that there’s 3 hours of free parking, so it makes driving here very convenient. If you end up going over the 3 hour limit just drop by the applebees and grab a beer and you’ll get 2 more hours of free parking. That’s all the tricks I have up my sleeve.
The highlights of this place are the Sky foods supermarket, Outlet Adidas store, Factory Nike store, Uniqlo and the Mongolian Hotpot. There’s also other places such as Marshalls, Target, and entire aisle of children’s stores including a Sanrio for those of you that need to get your Hello Kitty fix. Most of these places you can get in and out of very quickly, except for Target, which might be one of the most inefficient Targets around.

DON’T COME HERE EVER. The parking lot is horrendous and security is useless as well as nearly nonexistent. We’ve been stuck here for over an hour and not close to getting out. I called security several times and just got double talk. I will never come back here again.

We went to sky view mall today at 3 pm. We wanted to leave before 6 because it was free parking. We could not get out of the parking lot because of heavy traffic. It was dangerous. The heavy traffic could cause accidents. I am glad no one got
Hurt. The management should think about safety conditions of the people.

3 hours free parking. wow! but be aware, you would probably spend more than the allotted time in just a few stores… watch your timing. an hour zinged by faster than I thought. good thing it’s only $ 3 for another 3 hours or do what most people do, but theres no guaranteed parking space. I just pay the measly 3 bucks and avoid the hassle.

Uniqlo, Bed Bath & Beyond, very small.@Bed Bath, I still found most of the things I need. Uniqlo is just so cramped, the selection is much smaller then the Manhattan stores (mostly whatever they are actively promoting at the moment).
From other reviews I read, I feel the need to clarify, there are absolutely NO Nike, Nordstrom, Adidas or Forever21 here. there are however, Nike Clearance, Adidas Outlet, Nordstrom Rack and F21. these are all outlet stores. I thought Forever21 is already cheap as it is. Anyway, if you want newest trends, best designs/​selection. go elsewhere. Most of the people here are bargain hunters who make a lot of effort scavenging through piles of crap until they find something worthy of buying or people who have bad taste and buy loads of shit just for the brand names… you know exactly who I’m talkng about right?.. those people that spend $ 50 on an ugly shirt just b/​c its stamped with MK on it.yes.they come here thinking they struck gold for the same shitty shirts/​bags/​shoes thats on sale.
Be prepare for the hunt, and as with every hunter, be prepared to go home hungry.
P. S. lol this is not a pun, I forgot to add that food choices are very limited. If you like to shop eat and then shop again you may have a situation. If not, there are many places to stuff your face in downtown Flushing before or after you shop. In the mall: Subway, Five Guys, Chuck E Cheese, of course adults go in without kids… I think… I’m Asian and my taste does leans towards Grandma’s Dim Sum or Fay Da bakery.

The shops here are alright, I like the Asian cuisine theme given the neighborhood. It’s large and ornate, but it is somewhat empty. Still, I do appreciate the extent of holiday decorations.

I agree with Gary L. Skyview isn’t a bad mall at all and it’s indoors. Skyview has almost everything a mall should have — restaurants, bakeries, supermarket, BJ’s, Target, clothing stores, and etc.
I must admit that a few of the stores I’ve been to inside Skyview Center have a few flaws like there is almost no reception available in the mall, SkyFoods is quite crampy and small for a supermarket in a mall. Bed, Bath & Beyond is also a little cramped too. There never seems to never be enough cashiers working at the registers at Target. I also realized this is one of the few malls that has a parking fee which I think is absurd.
I like that the mall is bright and has big brand name stores that you can trust has good quality products and it’s pretty clean.
This is a good mall to come to if you have basic necessities you need to get for home or yourself, but wouldn’t highly recommend staying here too long especially with those damn parking fees and also zero reception.

Who can complain. Sky view is constantly expanding and growing. There are new shops every few months and there is still space for it to grow

As a mall, it’s good enough. I say this because it’s the only mall in the Flushing area that’s not predominantly Asian focused featuring popular, mainstream, brand name stores such as Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, Marshalls, Forever 21, Nike, Adidas, Best Buy, Payless, Nordstrom, Old Navy, Famous Footwear & eating places such as Subway, Chuck E. Cheese, Applebees. The layout however is terrible and confusing. Why are there two separate sections of the mall so inaccessible from each other?
Best Buy, Bob’s Furniture, BJ’s, and Restoration Warehouse are all situated away from the main section of the mall where Target, Marshalls, etc are grouped. Why separate the two sections of the mall this way? And if you must for some weird reason separate the stores up, it would be much more shopper friendly if there was some sort of indoor tunnel that shoppers could use to get from one section to the other without having to go outside in the cold only to have to cut across the dark parking lot where you’re in danger of getting run over by a car only to have to take the dark stairway or slow elevator up or down to your destination store on the other side? Why divide up the mall this way? It makes no sense and detracts from your shopping experience. Not to mention it feels a bit unsafe and dangerous when the parking lot, stairs, elevators are desolate with no one around.

Sky view center is not all that bad of a mall. It’s not a overwhelming large mall but it has some decent stores. Uniqlo opened up recently. It’s not a large Uniqlo compared to the ones in the city but it has all of the basics. The Bed Bath and Beyond here is cramped, Target is huge but the people here are rude! China men cutting the line at guest services and belching the whole time. What I do like about Sky view is their free parking policy. 0 – 3 hours is free! I wished Rego Center would do the same thing. I do hate one thing about Sky view and its heir parking entrance on Roosevelt Ave. There’s only 1 left turn only lane into the parking garage and A-​holes would cut the line. The line going into the parking garage would sometimes back up all the way into College Point Blvd.

Went on July 3^rd. It was madness in the mall. The line in Marshalls had at least 30 people waiting to check out. Everything is so messy in all the stores and the sales people are running all over helping someone.
FYI. There is only one bathroom in the whole mall on level B and the line was crazy.

I was so sad to see the Flushing Mall closed and in its construction phase. I walk a few blocks over and see enter a fairly new mall The Sky View Center (SVC). I was thirsty from the meal that I had from New World Mall and so I ran to the closest Fay Da in SVC, got both a Passion Fruit Tea and Lychee Juice @ $ 2.50 each and that really quenched my thirst.
Make a turn, keep walking and Skyview Supermarket! That’s right, a Chinese supermarket in a mall consisting of stores like BJs, Bestbuy and Payless, really? What do I see when I get in there? 3 teas for $ 1 Wow!!! I wanted to go back to Fay Da and get a cup of ice. Guess what happens next… I drank all three of them.
As opposed to Queens Mall or Brooklyn Mall, it’s certainly smaller but hey, who would do all the shopping for everything they even need in a mall? Just the supermarket by itself is a first considering the Western Venue. Now I don’t feel so bad about the Flushing Mall though I do know a lot of the stores there were struggling big time.

I love visiting and walking around malls. I have been to this mall a couple of times. It’s a good size mall with the expected jewelry and cell phone accessory kiosks.
Pros: This mall brings together all the shops I really dig: TJ Maxx, Old Navy, Bed Bath and Beyond, Target. This makes shopping much more easier. Located in Flushing, it is close to the 7 train.
Cons: it lacks good places to eat. Even though Subway, Five Guys entered into the picture, you want more choices. We passed by Chuck E. Cheese, but children and their families go there.
I come to this place for the convenience. But that’s it.
