I purchased groupon for two massage six months ago, and I left one time. Today I went there, and they told me this was invalid because they changed boss. What the hell, nobody told me what is going on. The reason I gave them one star because I did purchase two times of massage but I didn’t get what I paid.

First came here with a Groupon, a little surprised to see a phone sales area and hair salon before arriving at the massage rooms down the hall in back. Don’t let the location fool you, all 3 of the massage therapists I’ve had were excellent. They worked tirelessly, with the perfect amount of pressure and stretch. As others have mentioned, the therapists were always attentive to and inquiring about my comfort. The ambiance is not that of an exclusive spa, but one cannot expect that at these prices. Their tipping policy is extremely fair. A $ 10 tip to a professional who is expertly manipulating your body for 60 minutes is not at all unreasonable, it’s actually not nearly enough. Come here for a great massage at a great price. If you are looking to be pampered in luxury also, go elsewhere and pay 3 to 4 times more.

I went in with a groupon with my muscles all strung out (don’t know how else to describe it) and feeling like my nerve endings were stripped. Wayyy too many days in a row hunched over a flat screen. It’s pretty clear this is a hair salon that figured out a way to renovate and rent the back of the store (no longer the basement).
I got Jenn, who looked tired and maybe anorexic, but she knew what she was doing and she did it. Used her entire body and got up on the table for better leverage. Soft-​spoken and polite – it was gonna hurt, there was no way around it – but I endured it and felt increasingly better as she got the blood flowing through my points and joints. Felt pretty okay by the time she was done but – get this – as the day progressed I felt terrific. No pain; a lot of well-​being crept up on me.
Like others on here, I have no problem with a $ 10 tip – she totally deserved it, and ESP. cause the store is eating the cost of the groupon. I mean, she’s gotta live too. Don’t be a cheap tipper just cause you got a deal – read the Groupon fine print asking tips on the full amount.
Weekends are busy everywhere, and Flushing looks like Hong Kong now, so crowded. They are fielding the customers pretty well and accommodated me no problem (trains were running late so I told them I’d be a half-​hr late). On a Saturday morning. Lots of customers.
I’m going back, definitely. Jenn’s style is not touchy-​feely, but it sure as hell works. Today is Sunday and I have loads of energy now. Thanks!

Came here with the groupon for 2 massages. You can share the groupon with a friend, just mention it when making appt. This place is actually a hair salon, but the massage rooms are downstairs in the basement.
It is not bad at all considering the price paid. They offered me hot stones for free and the lady that massaged me was really nice and kept checking to make sure she wasn’t hurting me.
To the people complaining about the minimum tip, they never stated a minimum tip, but I think $ 10 is very reasonable considering the cheap price of the groupon. The masseuse stands there for like a whole hour using their strength and all. Just because the massage was cheap doesn’t mean you should tip cheaply too.

This place seems to be illegitimate. I called three times and got hung up on because the person answering could not understand my english. I finally called back an hour later seeing as I needed to get in with my groupon. I asked for the manager and set up a time for the next day.
The following day I called in the morning to confirm and they said they did not see it, the filled my spot and moved to me a later spot.
When I arrived, they told me it would be 30 mins later than my scheduled time… It ended up being an hour late!
When they tried to tel me that it was 10 $ min tip I stated my case and made sure that they understood that I was not going to pay. I was very unsatisfied
Also the people who worked there or who hung around there, not sure which, were very unprofessional. Smacking each other’s butts, talking loudly, and not being attentive.
If you want a massage, don’t come here. Go to a real spa. Not a nail spa. But for the price. I guess that’s what I get.

I’m reviewing this salon for their hair and nail salon services. The owner Candy makes you feel welcomed. Had my hair done for $ 15 a few weeks ago. Today I got a pedicure– the staff really cares for you. They did an excellent job. I see other reviews of massage being shady, but I spoke with the masseuses and they are far from described. Will check it out next time.

Warming: $ 10min tip per hour and they ask to get $ 3 for tax if you use groupon, which is illegal. You pay groupon for a service cover everything but tips, essentially they are selling to groupon and groupon sells to you so you should not pay this tax which I doubt it goes to the New York city treasury. File a complain with NYC if they ask for tax.
The business is maily a hair salon front with a cellphone repair booth that always have someone blocking the the door, be careful not to hit someone.
The phone listed on the groupon always go to voicemail. the phone on the website is manager’s cellphone which sometime works but you will likely find someone answer with a sleeping voice. The email nobody responded. I had to just walked in, and the lady at front desk say to call the nail salon number next time. Even that, when you called ahead and they say just come, when you come there is no masseuse available. She had to get some lady worker to part-​time for the job. She worked hard but clearly not a full-​timer, for all I knew she could be their to apply for a job since she had to ask another lady where things are.
I hope the owner is reading this, there are room for improvement and you can get long time customer for other service provided at the establishment.

FAIR WARNING: THIS PLACE IS A FRONT!!! We thought it was too good to be true for Groupon deal $ 30 for 2 one hour full body massages, turns out they give table showers too (Google the term if you must). I got an old lady in a black lace dress to massage me with her long fingernails digging into my back. My boyfriend got a guy masseuse and at least think he was legit. But when a man next door clearly asked for a «table shower», my boyfriend and I stayed alarmed the remaining massage time. DO NOT GO HERE (UNLESS YOU INTEND TO GO TO SUCH A PLACE)!!!
UGH I feel so gross. will be taking a much needed shower once I get home.
BTW, my shoulders are still killing me.

so my bf and i went back again. we repurchased a groupon. 5 massage for $ 80 but we bought it on a day where groupon had 20% off local deals so 5 massages for $ 64!!! cant beat that lol! this time he got a back massage while i decided to opt for the foot massage as for my job, i need to stand a lot so my legs do get tired.
my bf said that the lady who massaged his back worked really hard because hes pretty built and she still dug into his back and tried her best to untighten him.
the person who gave me my foot massage also worked really hard and untighten my muscles in my calves.
i ended up buying a deal with the foot massages from this place. buy 10 foot massages get 2 free for $ 200! thats basically $ 17 per massage!
i will be back here in a couple of weeks for a hair cut/​coloring. we’ll see how that goes :)

I just went to this spa to use a Groupon that was $ 30 for 2 one hour massages which would make each massage $ 15. The lady that did my massage wasn’t good and at the end instead of me paying the $ 5 tip that I wanted to I was forced to pay $ 10. That’s more than half of the value of the massage I bought. I’m never cheap with tips but to be forced to pay tip is ridiculous. I’m very sore from my not so relaxing massage and ended up paying as much as I would have if I was getting a massage somewhere else in Flushing workout the Groupon.
