We simply teach the Word of God simply. Verse by verse, chapter by chapter, book by book. We put a great emphasis on studying the Word of God and applying His Word to our lives because we believe that is what the Bible really and truly is – the Word of God. Worship is also a big part of our ministry. Not just through music and praise, but also through service. We don’t use gimmicks or programs to grow the church because we believe that it is God’s church so He will grow it as He wills. Our job is to equip the saints for the work of the ministry. and to provide a place where people are given the best opportunity to know the love of Christ that passes knowledge. We realize that we can do nothing without the power of the Holy Spirit so we rely on His Leading and empowerment to accomplish His will.

History

Established in 2004.

Calvary Chapel Flower Mound (CCFM) was started when Pastor Jon Bell, formerly an Associate Pastor at Calvary Chapel Pacific Hills CA, answered a call from the Lord to start a church in Flower Mound, TX. So he moved his family to Texas in the spring of 2004 and Pastor Jon began holding church services in their living room. Two months later the church moved into Blue Ribbon Preschool. A midweek service was soon added. Later the Church began to hold Sunday Morning Services at Marcus High School. In June of 2009 the church moved from Marcus to our current location at 1001 Cross Timbers Rd., Suite 1050, Flower Mound, TX 75 028.
