V Spa Nails

I was visiting town and had a broken nail. Found salon and almost didn’t go because there were only two reviews. They are super nice, very clean, and did a lovely job on my nails, including the repair.

Called for an appointment on a Tuesday night. I was greeted by a nail tech as soon as I walked in. Even better, 2 of my associates from work were there getting their nails done, which upped my confidence level. Those girls don’t do junk!
My appointment was with Henry, I wasn’t sure if I just wanted to take off the bad gel nails I got on vacation, or redo them. He checked out my nails and said he could fix them. He did. My cuticles look great, my nails look much more natural. I also noticed that, of customers who signed in with a tech preference, it was always Henry. He asked me if I also wanted a pedicure. It took me about 2 seconds to agree as my feet are so dry from a summer of sandals. A different person did my pedi, but she took her time and did a great job. I’ve had a better massage, but she took great care in removing the dead skin. The polish looks great.
The real test will be in how long the mani/​pedi hold up… but did I mention they only charged me $ 50 for both? I don’t know if that was a new customer special, or what it would be separately. Nevertheless, I left pretty happy, and if the nails hold up will be a regular customer.
The only downside (–1 *) is the entire staff spoke to each other in their language, which was not English. They did not converse much with the customers, which did not provide of an inclusive feeling. I would have preferred English so that I could understand and perhaps join in a conversation. Henry was the only person who made the effort, and I did appreciate that.

As a mani/​pedi snob, I have super high expectations. I love that I can walk in or set an appointment with V-​Spa and am always treated professionally.
Their instruments and foot tubs are always sterilized and clean (and that is HUGE) and the staff is tremendous.
I never feel like I have to wait too long to get helped, yet I never feel rushed when I am the one getting work done.
Their prices are extremely reasonable and they regularly will offer discounts when you have multiple services. Highly recommend for anyone in the area.
