Smokin’ This and that BBQ

If I were grading on food alone, it may have been 4 or 5 stars. However, I believe in the experience and between myself and my friends that went later, it was a horrible experience. First, talk about high pressure sales. It’s all good. My husband and I still ordered and still enjoyed what we had in the afternoon. We went based on a recommendation and so did friends of ours that went for bbq in the evening.
Their sign says very clearly, Hours from 8am-​8pm. My friends arrived at 7pm to the whole staff standing on the side of the building smoking. The owner proceeded to tell them they were closing soon. My friends, not wanting to be a burden, said they would come back another time. My friends are good people and do not like to create a fuss so they tried to leave. But they obliged the owner and went in. They just wanted a few sandwiches and were pretty much quilted into buying a tray of bbq and the staff tried to force buns and other items on them for a ‘discount’. I do not believe this is the appropriate way to run a business… feeling pressured just because you are nice.
If the owner wanted to get out of work so badly, they should have just let my friends leave. If that would have happened, we would ALL be going back to patron this establishment again. However, I refuse to spend money and support business owners that utilize this type of practice. I’ll drive out of Florence for BBQ.

It is Smokin and no one can touch this its the best BBQin 500 miles… has the best wings best ribs and thats no smoke. …just stop once and your LIFE WILL CHANGE… AND THAT YOU CAN TAKE TO THE BANK

My wife got take out tonight from this here tonight, it was our first time trying it and wow the food was so good. The brisket just fell apart and was so juicy, I like mine with a little bit of fat on it so they cut it special for us, and it was perfect in every way. The pulled pork is also one of those that is so good it doesn’t need sauce kind of things my wife thought it was dry but I completely disagreed but she also stated that she loved it because she mixed it with her beans and coleslaw which was something she really enjoyed and that they have on their menu but we did not order. We did get an order of wings for tomorrow since it was a special buy 12 get 4 they smell fantastic and look good and meaty. The people serving you are extremely friendly and accommodating letting my wife try things before she purchased them and talking to her about all the different things she could get and when. They are a small place that doesn’t do a large menu but what they do, they do really really well and if you want great smoked meats this is the place to get in this area!

Excellent, excellent stuff. I don’t tolerate sub standard barbecue. Everyone is doing pulled pork these days, thinking it’s easy, and even down south there’s a red top barbecue joint in every town and most of the time it’s just the same old crap. Nothing different, nothing exciting, no genuine flavors.
This is not that.
This stuff is amazing.
I had the pulled pork po’ boy which is all dry rub but remains amazingly juicy and doesn’t need any sauce at all. It was amazing. Highly recommended.

Okay, been saving this one up…
I am a bit of a BBQ snob and have enjoyed some pretty terrific dishes all over the US.
How blessed am I to have the BEST brisket I have EVER had, right in my own backyard???
The place itself — the proprietors themselves — and the techniques he uses, all combine to create the best BBQ at a just a BUCK for most dishes!
IF you fancy yourself a BBQ man or a ‘saucy’ woman… GO!
Thursday through Sunday only and here’s a tip… he typically sells out so, go early!

It was a little tough to find but worth tracking it down. This little sluggish ouch is located inside friendly market and that God is just as nice as can be very personable. I got the barbecue parfait had barbecued pork and beans and pork and beans and topped with coleslaw yummy. You not miss this place if you’re in the area.

Incredible BBQ! Pulled pork, wings, ribs are all delicious. Baked beans were yum! Loved this place.

Some of the best pulled pork I’ve ever put in my mouth. I like sauce, but this doesn’t need any. The Pork Parfait was a life changer! Layer of tasty beans, thick layer of amazing smoked butt, topped with a rough chopped creamy coleslaw — incredible! The smoked egg was delicious and cooked to perfection with a hint of sweet smoke. Do your belly a favor and pick up a cup of goodness while you’re cruising the market!
