Honestly, the worst experience I’ve ever had at an Applebee’s. I sat at the bar so I could complete some work on my computer. In the course of about three and a half hours, I was only served four drinks. Now I told the bartender I wasn’t in any hurry. So I ordered my appetizer after my first drink. Then I ordered my dinner after my second drink. After finishing with my dinner(which I didn’t eat much of because it had the consistency of rubber) and third drink, I sat for over an hour without ever being acknowledged. Turns out, my bartender left and never passed me on to the next bartender who was there for over forty minutes before saying a word to me. Absolutely unacceptable service, even for an Applebee’s.

Very disappointing visit. About 10:20 and we did not think we had time to dine at Texas Roadhouse(wish we had). We were seated right away but waited almost ten minutes before the hostess came back and took our drink order. The carbonation was not calibrated correctly. The server was not very attentive. Our glasses sat empty for almost fifteen minutes one time. Our meal came out BEFORE the appetizer and the server told us that they had to make some more shells for the taco appetizer. Our steaks were overcooked. When the manager stopped by and asked how things were, we told her about the issues. She apologized and ended up taking $ 10.00 off the bill. That made us feel a little better, but when the server came back, she gave us a half-hearted apology. She said that it made her look bad and she told us that she is an excellent server. I told her that part of the blame was with the kitchen and she said that when it gets busy that sometimes the appetizers arrive after the meals, but that we have to «go with the flow.» We will choose to go elsewhere next time.

Their service was good. The waitress recommended us their combos which were totally plentiful. We all felt full and satisfied.

Very middle of the road. It’s a national chain, so they have standards of cleanliness, quality control and food prep to adhere to, in addition to a certain style of service, atmosphere and menu options. Plus, there is a comfortable familiarity in what you are getting from location to location. In comparison to other Applebee’s, it’s rather average and entirely unremarkable. The service is super slow, it takes an exceedingly long time to get seated, let alone waited on. Service is pleasant, but very spotty, almost distracted, which doesn’t make a lot of sense as it goes on when the place is nearly empty as well as packed to the entrance. Even if there are several empty tables and people waiting to be seated, there will inevitably be a long wait to be seated, despite the obvious number of open tables. Once seated, the drink refills come out of the kitchen at a gingerly pace. The food? Mediocre, kind of bland in some dishes and overly spicy in others. The fish, meat, vegetables, fries, even some of the pasta dishes with sauce taste like they’re frozen, with that«from the freezer» flavor! Some of the salads are good, along with the artichoke dip & chips, plus some of the soups. Lemon Chicken is kind of bland, not great but not too bad, although I’m pretty sure it’s frozen, not fresh. They actually offer pretty good beer specials and the mudslide is really a dessert, but it’s pretty okay. The atmosphere is your garden variety Applebee’s. Not my favorite, but it will do in a pinch if a few friends want to meet up together to have meal and drinks.

Stopped in here real quick to grab lunch. I ordered the 2 for $ 20 meal w/appetizer. My favorite is the fiesta lime chicken which is a signature dish &ISTANTALIZING to the taste buds! My appetizer is spinach and artichoke dip. No one was in here yet which made it quick for me to order. the hostesses were very funny. I’m not worried about how the food will taste because I know it’ll be wonderful as always. Hey if you’re in the area you’ll have to try any of their signature dishes, there are a variety of them!

The waits are usually longer at this location. I’ve always had great service when I have come to this location. They have really good drink specials and food specials for the late night dining. They are wheelchair accessible like most Applebees.

Everything was in a timely matter. The order was correct, everyone was very polite and friendly. I usually don’t know what to get at applebees but I tried a new lemon chicken with apple toppings — SOGOOD. Along with the rice that came with it. I was able to put a two person meal and tip with a $ 25 gift card. So success! One of my best Applebee’s experiences.

Long wait but there were so many empty seat that they wouldn’t let us sit in any of them! So disappointed!

I only like Applebee’s for their drink specials. Their food taste microwaved, and this is the most ghetto Applebee’s I’ve been to. Actually this one ties with the Pierson road location. There’s normally some sort of trashy fight happening if you go on a Friday or Saturday after 7:00PM. So if you’re into dinner & A SHOW, and possibly a steak knife wound, be my guest. I just think they should do something to deter the trash of Flint from flooding into here on the weekends. They should add an automatic gratuity to EVERYONE’s bill for Happy Hour. Because I’ve had a few members of the waitstaff tell me how little money they make during Happy Hour and how BUSY they get with all the low lives coming in there, eating cheap food, and tipping NOTHING. It makes the service horrible when you have a burnt out waitress not really trying, because she doesn’t see the point. when 90% of her tables aren’t going to tip anyways. Pretty much risking getting stabbed with a steak knife, for a nice deal on a bahama mama!

If you like formula food, this is the place to go. The servers are polite and cheerful. But having known someone who works there they are underpaid and overstaffed. There’s absolutely nothing special about this place.

Applebees has only ONE thing that brings me back — the 550 Calorie Menu options. As a road warrior 150+ days in different cities trying to eat out I go for non fattening stuff and they actually have a very decent low calorie option. They were not busy and I sat at the bar two seats away from someone while they were deciding on a drink with the bartender(who knew them) — I was ignored for 10 minutes — not acknowledged or anything. Food was cooked okay but was like heaped in one spot on the plate — had to ask for silverware and soft drink refills were apparently a problem though I am not sure if I drank them or if they evaporated from the wait. Will I go back — yes but not because of this one.

Very slow wait to be seated, while open tables were available. Staff said this was so the kitchen staff would not become overwhelmed. Stupid policy, as customers could be seated and served drinks. Food was as to be expected: Good.
